Loved this hotel - 6 stars! The staff was amazing, helpful in every way. There is a Dolar Blue money exchange right next door. The location was perfect and in a good location. Our room overlooked the Recoleta Cemetery. An entire block of outdoor restaurants were just around the corner, a mall is across the street, the Hop On Hop Off bus stop is walking distance, the park with Sunday fair is also very close. We arrived at 8:00 a.m., so our room wasn't ready (which we expected), but they have a shower and changing room adjacent to their exercise room that we were able to use. We stayed two nights, then flew to the interior for 12 days of hiking, then returned to this hotel. They kept a piece of non-hiking luggage in storage for us for the 12 days at no cost. We would definitely stay here again.

The Carles Hotel provided a wonderful stay for several days during a visit to BA earlier this year. It's located in a calm, neat area of Buenos Aires, from where (half) daytrips to explore either the city or catch the ferry to Uruguay are easily arranged. The people working here are very friendly and attentive. Making it a relaxing and comfortable experience from the moment you check in, till the moment you check out. The rooms are well-maintained with comfortable beds, a proper bathroom and friendly priced room-service. The breakfast is also really nice, and provides a good start of your day. Will be staying here again during my upcoming visit to the city.

This hotel is well located next to the Plaza de Mayo and an easy walk to bars and restaurants in the area. The staff were courteous and accommodating. The room was enormous, with a roll top bath and work and seating area. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was standard fare with a good selection.

Beautiful place, Luciana is the best 😉. Great selection of traditional recipes from immigrants adapted with local Argentinian ingredients. Open kitchen design is nice. The aged meat is a must try, great wine selection and ice cream are to die for!! 🤤.

All many positive aspects - modernness, location, flair, service, etc. - and negative ones - tiredness of some furniture, no international plugs or bottle of water upon arrival, repetitive breakfast with one juice only, etc. - have been detailed over and over in my many reviews here. The suite on the 12th floor is most elegant and cosy, but too bad the architect didn't consider a small balcony there. Oh, please fix the connecting door, it doesn't slide through. I look forward to returning somewhere I am genuinely smiled at and where people call me by first name, given the 'intimacy' developed in so many visits. Again, can I call it my home in BsAs?? I think so! PS. When is the excellent sauna getting fixed?
