Stayed here when passing through Burlington. It’s a basic hotel on the outskirts of Burlington. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel and none within walking distance of the hotel. We were greeted by a pleasant man and lady at reception. Reception area was bright and clean and well kept. Our 3rd floor room was spacious and had everything we needed. Walls are thin are voices can be heard from adjoining rooms. Breakfast was basic and the break room was small and crowded. Overall ok for one night

Nice hotel and clean. Friendly service. Breakfast was okay. Some of the food look as if it wasn’t fully cooked.

Online booking was easy. Check in was quick and easy. Friendly staff. We stayed on 6th floor and the room was large and the elevators were fast. Breakfast and dinner had many options all free. Food quality was good. Plenty of places to sit and eat in the lobby with family. Lobby was large and well decorated and maintained. Pool had plenty of towels, was clean and hot tub was clean. My family of five was comfortable in one room with a cot that was only $10 extra for each night. Hotel is close to Elon University and a great choice if coming to visit this area. Dominos Pizza was in walking distance and shopping was right behind hotel. Highly recommend Drury in Burlington!

I have driven past this hotel for years (my sister lives a mile down the road) and never really thought too much of it. For a wedding visit, we needed more space, so I booked a room here for location purposes only, not expecting much. I was pleasantly-PLEASANTLY-surprised. It's a gem. Low-key and basic, but absolutely spotless and the staff was wonderful. Every staff member we encountered was hospitable and went out of their way to help. Mr. Love, the maintenance man, was super friendly with my 4 year old son, who saw him with some tools and wanted to talk. A wonderfully kind African-American woman who was working the desk (I didn't catch her name) on Sunday morning went and got my son a muffin when we missed the breakfast by ten minutes. The room was SPOTLESS, and housekeeping members were incredibly nice. I don't know what the previous reviews were saying about cigarette smoke-the place smelled very clean. Overall, I'd give this 5 stars. We were really just there to sleep, but we couldn't have been treated any better, and the location was perfect. Other visitors (I spoke to other families and a few older couples) seemed happy staying there too. This place is a fairly-priced gem! Would absolutely stay again!

My 18 year old son was delayed while driving home by himself from college. Rather than drive through the night and risk drowsy driving, we opted to find him a place to sleep for a few hours and then resume his trip the next day. I started calling hotels along his route at 1am. Numerous hotels turned him down due to his age (I guess 18 is old enough to join the military and vote, but not to stay at a hotel - even when continuing to drive creates a risk) or the hotels' nightly room audit procedures. Thank goodness we found the Comfort Suites Whitsett - Greensboro East! The front desk clerk was so helpful (I believe she said her name was MaryAnn?) - she confirmed that they had availability and would accommodate an 18 year old and would even give him a walk-in discount. My son easily checked in at 3:30am and spent a comfortable night in this welcoming hotel that was easily accessible from I-85. Thank you!!
