"Very clean, convenient business style hotel located right next to Mapo metro/bus station. Service is great, and many staff are able to converse in Japanese. There are printing facilities and free coffee machines which were very helpful and pleasant to have. It’s just that housekeeping doesn’t start until late afternoon, so there were a few times where we’ve had to leave the room so the ladies can come and clean."

"Everything I needed in a hotel. Room was clean and a good size. Cleaning can be requested as needed at the front counter everyday. Location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from the Airport Limousine station and the Sinchon station (Line 2). If you want to explore the area, you can also walked from the hotel to Hongdae. Very convenient with a CU, pharmacy, E-mart, Daiso and Olive Young nearby so you don't have to carry your shopping too far :D I also appreciated the coffee machine in the lounge area!"

"We had a very pleasant family stay at Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Myeongdong, with shopping, food, cafes and convenience stores all within easy walking distance. It is also very convenient for taking the subway or getting around Seoul. The room was clean, comfortable and practical for a family stay. Housekeeping was good and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was well maintained. The staff were polite, helpful and professional whenever we needed assistance. Amenities were sufficient and the hotel gave us a comfortable base after a long day of shopping and sightseeing. For travellers who want convenience, cleanliness and a central location in Myeongdong, this hotel is a very good choice. I would recommend it especially for families visiting Seoul."

"Kali kedua menginap di Nine Tree ini, datang pada musim bunga. Suhu sangat sesuai, walaupun disebabkan kastam yang perlahan, saya tiba di hotel pada pukul sembilan, tidak terlalu sejuk. Proses daftar masuk masih mudah dan cepat, berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggeris. Kedai serbaneka di tingkat bawah masih mudah diakses. Naik bas lapangan terbang laluan 6015 dan turun di Euljiro 2(i)ga, kemudian melintasi jalan, dan tiba di hotel, kira-kira 300-400m. Cadar hotel biasa-biasa sahaja, walaupun saya menempah awal dan menyatakan 2 dewasa dan 1 kanak-kanak, mereka masih memberikan 2 bantal. Bantal agak nipis, sokongan kurang baik. Pancuran mandian masih standard, tekanan air sederhana. Bilik jenis ini tiada tab mandi."

"Location of hotel is a 5 mins walk from the DDP station. Convenient to take bus to myeongdong as it’s only a few stops away and takes less than 15 minutes. However if going to take the line 2, will need to walk through line 5 to change so it can be a bit taxing at the end of the day as it’s a long walk with many stairs. There is an airport bus 6001 from incheon airport to beton hotel and from the bus stop near CJ company back to the airport. Advice is to be there at least 5-10 mins early before the scheduled time as there may be a short queue and prepare cash or have enough money in the tmoney card. The bus tends to be filled before even reaching Myeongdong and takes about 1.5 hours to the airport. Hotel room itself is comfortable for 2 medium luggage’s and bathroom is small. Make up room can be done daily but they only change the sheets after the 3rd day. Amenities, towels and water are replenished everyday. Overall it’s a decent location for the price if you want to save money as it’s not too far away from the shopping areas like myeongdong, seongsu, and Hongdae."

"Booked two rooms, I was able to make my own Ramen at the communal kitchen, had coffee at the reception area. I also did my laundry twice. Took photos from the rooftop. I feel at home for two nights stay. There’s so many restaurants to choose from for dinner around the area, had good breakfast along Jong-ro too. The staff were very pleasant to talk to especially Im Heedong. He gave us complimentary drinks twice , offered us umbrellas before heading out for dinner in case it’ll rain. "The Garden Hotel in Seoul turned out to be a great choice for us. The rooms were clean and fresh, especially considering the price, and the location was convenient with just a ten‑minute walk to the nearest station. Perfect for exploring a big city without hassle. We didn’t interact much with the staff, but the hotel provides an emergency number for assistance. When heavy rain caused a small flooding in our room, we received quick help from a very kind and friendly staff member who came right away and took care of everything. It left a reassuring impression. Since we are clean and organized travelers who spend most of the day out in the city, the hotel suited us perfectly. It’s quiet, comfortable, and has good standards for both beds and showers. For a simple and affordable stay, The Garden Hotel is a very good option."

"We had a great time staying here. Having the bowling below the lobby is a plus+++ They also provided free voucher. We like the place, a lot of great foods around the area and its not crowded. If you want to feel like seoul with no crowd, this is the place!"

"The Designers Hotel Jongno A Christmas & New Year Story from an Aussie Traveler I arrived in Korea just before Christmas, trading Australia’s summer holiday season for the cold, glowing winter streets of Seoul. The moment I stepped into The Designers Hotel in Jongno, soft carols and small Christmas decorations welcomed me, making it clear that I would be spending the holidays somewhere completely new. Outside, Seoul shimmered with tiny trees in café windows, warm street lights, and a crisp winter breeze. As I planned where to spend the New Year’s countdown, I explored DDP’s dazzling lights and the lively Dongdaemun streets, but Bosingak kept calling to me. Its blend of history, year-end calmness, and lingering Christmas atmosphere made it feel like the perfect place to greet the new year. Back at the hotel, my plans unexpectedly changed. I had booked only one night, but the staff were so warm and kind—asking about my first Korean winter and even offering directions to Bosingak—that it felt like receiving small Christmas gifts. Their sincerity, especially during the busy holiday season, left a real impression. My room was cozy, quiet, and spotless, with crisp white linens that felt like part of the winter scenery. After walking through cold night streets filled with Christmas decorations, sinking into the warm bed felt comforting, almost like living here rather than traveling. The washing machines and dryers in the lobby were another huge bonus, especially with thick winter clothes piling up. Jongno itself added to the charm. Outside the hotel were winter streets filled with coffee aromas, traces of Christmas decorations, and easy access to Seosulla-gil, Hipjiro, and Bosingak. Walking to the bell pavilion through this seasonal atmosphere became one of my favorite parts of the trip. What was meant to be a one-night stay naturally extended into more. The kindness of the staff, the peaceful room, the winter mood of Jongno, and the chance to spend both Christmas and New Year in Korea made the hotel feel like the perfect base for the season. Overall: The Designers Hotel Jongno isn’t about luxury—it’s about warmth, comfort, and genuine hospitality. Between my first Korean Christmas and the ringing of Bosingak’s New Year bell, this hotel became a place where I made winter memories I’ll always remember."
