📍 34 Spaanschemat River Rd, Cape Town, Constantia

"From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave everything and everyone is perfect. Our room (number 4) was enormous. It is basically one very large room with a lounge area and then the bedroom area and then the bathroom with a sliding door so it can be shut off. There are doors opening onto the garden and swimming pool. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is plenty of choice for breakfast with anything cooked freshly prepared. In summary a fantastic place to stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Cellars-Hohenort. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained, with lovely gardens and a relaxed atmosphere. We especially appreciated the warm welcome on arrival, with the General Manager personally joining the team to welcome us to the establishment. Our room was comfortable, the service was attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. A perfect choice for a quiet and memorable stay in Cape Town. We would gladly return."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds were beautiful, and we were delighted to be treated to a personal tour of the entire facility. The staff took the time to make us feel truly welcome here. Our room was also fantastic, with a large comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and plenty of room to relax. The warm water bottle during turndown service was a very nice surprise. We ate both breakfast and dinner here and enjoyed both equally. Highly recommend to anyone! The hotel is a bit out of the way IMO, it seemed we had to drive off the beaten path a bit to get to and from here during our sightseeing."

"We really enjoyed the stay at the lodge. Setting is stunning, our room was lovely, clean and spacious, and the hostess super friendly. The major downside: we were too busy to laze around and enjoy the view for longer! Absolutely recommend the lodge."

"First time staying here but have done self catering before in Cape Town. Stayed in Bayview with the small pool adjacent. Everything you need for a long stay (or short). Relaxing and tranquil with greenery and superb view. The balcony is perfect for meals but well provided for inside too if it’s windy or raining. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Used Uber with no problems can get anywhere from here. We’ve booked for next year! "

"Three week holiday that six of us tried to make the most of, we were not advised about the building site next door😟constant noise and dust, also not aware of two private functions being held at property that denied us being able to use pool facilities, however the bad was more than made up by the wonderful Phumza and Felicia"
