Hotel di Conversano

Corte altavilla is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Conversano( BA). A perfect mix of history and relaxation. They have the most friendly staff and delicious food. My fiancé and I stayed at one of their most ancient room and hit their spa which they gave us the best massage and body scrub. Highly recommended and we definitely will come back.

Hotel 4 étoiles qui ne les vaut pas . pendant 1 semaine nous avons eut que des plats de légumes 1 fois de la viande .Les chambre sont belles mais le tour des douches ,n'est pas net . les serveur sont agréable mais l'ordre des personnes qui arrivent dans la salle de restaurant n'est pas respecter Pour des personnes prévu à 20 h sont servis aprés celle arriver plus tard . Plus d'1 h d'attente.

This is a really tired and dated hotel by today's standards. Externally it looks great, but internally it is very basic. A few details about our room; Hardly any plug sockets Air con either on or off (no options) Wifi wasn’t working in bedroom, only reception/dining room (Room 206) TV not working. Asked twice - fixed 2 days later. No wifi so no Netflix etc. Noisy fridge all day/night Shower jets don’t work but instant hot water Other points; Very basic breakfast - don’t expect eggs of any kind! Remote location - a car is essential All staff speak very limited English, if any No one at reception Sunday evening or at 7am next morning. The breakfast guy took 1/2 hour to check us out due to the language barrier. Swimming caps needed for hotel pool €4 each from reception Best bits; The restaurant was amazing. Fabulous food and wine. We were given free 5-course meal on arrival (drinks not included). Lovely pool. Gets noisy though when the local kids arrive. Suggestion for hotel; Provide some guidance for international guests in the form of a small booklet (in a few languages) in each room.

hotel che per onestà non può essere definito un 4 stelle. Certamente tranquillo e con un grado di pulizia buono. Le camere sono molto spartane , il bagno nel limite dell'accettabile. il kit fornito si limita a due flaconcini di shampoo niente di più. Devo dire che richiedendo direttamente il necessario alla reception si attivano immediatamente per esaudire la richiesta........ma perchè non far trovare ciò che serve prima! La cucina non è male e il personale è gentile e professionale. Colazione decisamente povera , due fettine di prosciutto cotto e sottilette come formaggio. Le uova sode che vi propongono sono GELATE!!!! e purtroppo nemmeno fresche , meglio evitarle. Un grazie al Sig. Giovanni responsabile di sala , iper indaffarato nel soddisfare le richieste dei clienti. Per ultimare direi che qualità e prezzo sono accettabili .

La struttura si trova vicino all'ingresso delle Grotte, oltre a questo di positivo ha che le camere sono pulite, la rubinetteria nuova e l'acqua calda immediata, e la posizione ovviamente centrale per qualsiasi escursione. Quello che non mi è piaciuto è aver ricevuto una camera che seppur con letto matrimoniale era più adatta ad una singola persona: solo una finestra (contrariamente alla prenotazione che prevedeva tripla con balcone), non c'era la presa di corrente ad uno dei comodini (che dico, minimensole), spazi d'appoggio ridottissimi, nel bagno una sola mensoletta di vetro, nel box doccia ci si riusciva a girare a malapena, nessun appoggio per gli shampo-doccia, in camere la sera veniva l'angoscia senza un quadro o una foto affissi al muro. Colazione minimale (di dolce solo cornetti e pasticciotti), oggetti da bagno e carta igienica lasciati in camera al risparmio. La reception era una scrivania nella sala colazione. Personale senza divisa e senza un minimo di entusiasmo. Dopo due prenotazioni stessa camera, chissà il corpo centrale con i balconi come sarà!?
