Hotel 3 Bintang di Delft

When I booked this room, I chose the Deluxe Double Room with shower which shows a room with two windows overlooking the street. I specifically booked this room to stay in the property where 1) the artist Jan Steen was reported to have lived and 2) to have a view outside of the canal. The room I was put in was a private apar**ent on the ground level in a separate building next door. This apar**ent was nice, with a private patio, but not at all what I expected. The room was clearly recently remodeled, but the fixtures are rather cheap, the toilet paper holder coming off the wall, the sink faucet loose, and the slope of the shower floor is away from the drain so that water gets all over the bathroom floor when showering. Also, the water tank is small enough to only allow for hot water for not even a full shower, so beware if you are traveling with more than one person when staying in this room, you will need to plan your showers accordingly. Although I was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked beautifully (I was there during a very hot spell), I was looking for a bit of history and sense of place and in the end, this room felt like any other hotel in the world, and not at all what was advertised in the pictures.

A clean hotel, good location, a few minutes walk from the main square and about ten minutes from the train station. My room was a decent size and cleaned every day. No lift but I knew that,and it was no problem for me but could be if you are elderly with luggage. You could hear doors closing but apart from that it was a quiet hotel. If I came to Delft again, I would stay here.

I stayed for just a couple days but I immediately felt involved in the social atmosphere of the Hub! The room was cozy and welcoming, very clean and quiet. The common spaces are great, the food and drinks are nice and always served with a smile. I would really have liked to be able to stay more and fully enjoy the social events and spaces!

Lovely hotel. Fabulous location on the canal a short walk from the train station or the market square. Rooms are small but clean, with little decoration but comfortable amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom well maintained, and we had a charming canal view. The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. We happened to take a canal tour that mentioned the hotel was once the town prison! How fun. But like most very old European buildings, it does have very steep, narrow stairs and hallways. This would likely not be a good choice for those with mobility issues. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and stay here again any day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Delft.

Very nice ambience and terrace. Nice lounge and coffee. Little noisy during checkout times. Inconsistent staff. Some small things irritated me. I had to transfer from another property and they helped relax me. Although during check in there were technical issues staff tried there best to resolve. This helped, and I would say they made me comfortable. Just like I said some small things to improve and it would be a great experience.

This hotel is at an excellent location: right by the train station, close to the city centre and lovely restaurants around. The staff is very friendly and the room was cleaned daily.

Super leuk en gezellig hotel op een geweldige plek. Wij hadden de kamer met een trap naar een 'zolder' kamer. Super leuk!

The reception desk gentleman is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good although I was expecting more of an Asian cuisine. The best part about this hotel is actually Race Planet being right opposite which offers a unique experience in our stay at delft. Overall the hotel can improve on the cleanliness and please get regular sized pillows for the bed instead of the current square ones. I would recommend this hotel because I can feel the staff dedication and prompt service attitude. Oh yes, it is also a short drive to the draw bridge where we admired the sunrise.
