"Came here for the Hilton name, and upon arrival, I was a little disappointed by the small lobby. However, the front desk service was incredibly polite and attentive. They even escorted us to our room. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with comfortable amenities. The breakfast offered a great variety, over 100 dishes, all delicious and with fresh ingredients. The front desk staff, especially the evening team, was very courteous and even upgraded our room type, leading to a great night's sleep. This was a very satisfying stay, and I highly recommend this hotel!"

According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"The hotel isn't in the busiest part of town, but it's very conveniently located with easy access to transportation. There's also a large shopping mall and a gas station nearby. The front desk staff gave very clear parking instructions, and there's a dedicated elevator to the hotel after parking. The front desk lady was kind and polite, and she offered lots of great tips for getting around locally. We even got an upgrade to a king room with a bathtub and a tatami area, which was fantastic. Overall, a great stay!"

"The room was absolutely fantastic! The staff, especially the young gentleman, provided incredibly warm and enthusiastic service, patiently answering all my questions. The location is superb, right next to the Leshan Giant Buddha. I booked a 270-degree Buddha-view room, and the stunning panoramic views were truly breathtaking. It's also super close to the Shangzhongshun Specialty Street. What's more, the breakfast at their cafe was unique and offered a wide variety of choices, and their 'xiao mian' (special noodles) were incredibly delicious! I'd definitely come back!"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across from Wanda Plaza, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. There are also plenty of great local eateries right next door, like Yingzi's Fried Skewers and Grandma Ju's Shaved Ice, which were both exceptionally delicious. We received complimentary welcome fruit upon check-in, which was a thoughtful and warm touch. The rooms are relatively new, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and our whole family slept soundly during our two-night stay. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They even kindly offered our family of three a complimentary breakfast, which was quite good. Although the hotel's parking lot was full when we arrived, and we had to park at Wanda Plaza, the hotel graciously reimbursed us for the parking fee. This gesture was truly impressive and much appreciated. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this hotel!"

"The cleanliness of Ji Hotel is always reassuring, and this hotel was no exception. The bedding was spotless and dry, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and there wasn't a speck of dust even when walking barefoot on the floor. Every corner was impeccably clean, making it a haven for those with obsessive-compulsive tendencies. The hotel's location is superb, conveniently situated near the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area. Most importantly, it's just steps from Zhanggongqiao Food Street, perfect for enjoying local delicacies like braised beef, sweet-skinned duck, and barbecue in the evenings. This was a near-perfect stay. **”Excellent service” isn't just empty words; it's evident in every detail and the smiles of every staff member.** If I ever return to Leshan, this will definitely be my top choice. Highly recommended! 👍"

The service is exceptional; they offer a complimentary hotel shuttle to pick you up from where the taxis drop off and even help with your luggage. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. There's also a bird named 'Xiao Xiao' at the front desk, like the hotel's mascot, who is very friendly with guests and loves to play. The front desk upgraded my room, and I absolutely loved the Chinese Zen-inspired decor. The hotel environment is tranquil, perfect for those who appreciate peace and quiet. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the Giant Buddha."

"Very zen looking hotel very near the entrance to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. We were upgraded to a room at the first level with a huge courtyard. Though nice, we did not have the time to enjoy the extra space. Both the shower and toilet doors are of translucent glass and has no lock. 4 bottles of drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided in the room. There's a small washing machine in the room but without full dryer function. Hotel compound is nice. Complimentary afternoon tea is actually self service biscuits, nuts and Chinese tea. There is also a free 3gb e-sim which we did not use. Free Hanfu experience is actually a few pieces of traditional clothings hung at the hotel reception where we are free to wear for self photo takings. We did not try as the costumes look like they were there for a long time and we were concerned about it's cleanliness. Breakfast is at another hotel a buggy ride away. We were supposed to be able to walk a short distance to the pier to board the ferry to see the Leshan Big Buddha but unfortunately, that pier was closed due to tide issues. We had to take the scenic bus (buggy) at RMB 15 per pax for a return trip to Wuyou ferry terminal to board the ferry. It was a long walk from the drop off point to the ferry terminal both ways. Would recommend this hotel for the room and hotel compound. However, if proximity to ferry terminal is a consideration, it pays to check that the pier near the hotel is in operation."

"Had such a great time at this hotel! The room is lovely and spacious and the tub is great for relaxing. The people at the front desk are the sweetest, they spoke a little English which was great for me. And even if we did not understand each other they would go out of their way to help me using a translation app and they helped me with everything. The only thing is the matrass was a little hard for my liking, but other wise a perfect stay. Will definetely come back!"

"When I came to Leshan last year and saw the hotel, I thought I must bring my family to stay here once. We were not disappointed. The hotel is very close to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to the entrance. If you don't want to walk, the hotel's battery car can take you to the starting point of the scenic area sightseeing bus. The environment inside and outside the hotel is great, especially suitable for leisure and vacation. Breakfast and afternoon tea are great, but it's a pity that I haven't had time to experience the activities such as copying scriptures and Tai Chi. I will make up for it next time. 😜"

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay here! Travelling alone, I felt really welcomed by the owner, Mr. Wang, and his family — they treated me like a friend. We even went on a trip together to see how the famous Emei Mountain tea is grown, which was a fantastic experience. Mr. Wang gave me a calligraphy lesson and showed me around the area, including several Buddhist temples. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and surrounded by great local restaurants. It’s also within walking distance of the Emei Mountain Tourist Centre, which makes it a perfect base for exploring. I’m really grateful for the kindness and hospitality I received — highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel was very comfortable, and the service and amenities was excellent. We had an issue with our Didi driver, but the hotel staff were very helpful to resolve the problem for us. The private hot spring bath in our room was so lovely to relax in after a long day of hiking, and the breakfast had a good selection to choose from. There was also a complimentary private shuttle service to transport us to and from the train station. The staff were always polite and friendly, and frequently checked in with us to make sure that we were enjoying our stay - definitely a place to return to in the future.

The hotel boasts gorgeous decoration and offers a tranquil setting, making it a perfect retreat. The beautiful tea rooms were a delightful touch, providing a serene atmosphere to relax in. Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by its spotless condition and the attention to detail. The linens and bed were of high quality, and the inclusion of every modern appliance and amenity ensured a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist me in arranging my day, ensuring I didn't miss out on any attractions. The hotel's location is excellent, with only a 15-minute taxi ride to the Leshan Scenic area and a short three-minute walk to the ancient snack street. The proximity to delicious local snacks and restaurants made dining options easily accessible. Being situated along the riverfront was a real treat, as I could take leisurely strolls by the water in the mornings, with the magnificent Giant Buddha visible in the distance. While it would have been nice if the hotel served breakfast, the abundance of snack options just minutes away compensated for it. I highly recommend Jishe Hotel to anyone visiting Leshan, whether they are friends, couples, solo travelers, or on a business trip. The location is unbeatable, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the hotel's cleanliness sets a new standard.

__WeChat26722****Le Meridien's breakfast is a highlight, with a lively atmosphere and delicious options like noodles, rice noodles, 'ka bing' (a local snack), and waffles! Highly recommended! The only downside is the long queues – why so much waiting?! The Chinese restaurant is also great! Seriously, everything in Emei Mountain tastes amazing. The front desk service, especially the first person I encountered, was very lively and engaging. Housekeeping was a bit slow, so I'm docking half a point for that. The bellboy was also excellent! Overall, it was a very good stay. It's a shame that for us 'poor souls' (referring to himself jokingly as a 'workhorse'), New Year's prices at 1288 RMB were a bit steep 😭. It would be much more reasonable at a few hundred RMB during off-peak times, haha.

BBernicetjmXiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

Despite our late arrival at 10:30 PM, the staff still greeted us warmly. Upon learning that our child enjoys yogurt, they thoughtfully prepared yogurt, fresh welcome fruits, and snacks for us. The breakfast was also quite good, featuring freshly cooked bacon. The beef and pork rib noodles were delicious, and the complimentary fruit tea was very tasty. My only minor suggestion would be if they could offer freshly ground coffee!

AAnanBourneI revisited after six years, and my child is now eight. The service attitude and quality for most facilities are still good, especially the thoughtful uncle at the hot spring pools who offered great guidance. However, the room's amenities are showing their age; the bathroom mirror light is insufficient, and several lamps barely work. The breakfast, in particular, has declined significantly. The difference from before is stark; it used to be excellent in both portion size and taste, but now it's really disappointing. The noodle station is a prime example: tiny portions, and you can no longer add your own toppings. The auntie adds them herself and then serves it. If you ask for more because it's too little, she gives you a reluctant look, and even after adding more, you still have to search hard for the toppings in your noodles. It feels like begging. The hot spring pools weren't warm enough; the indoor wave pool got cold quickly if you stayed in too long, and it was the same for the outdoor pools. You had to rush into a bathrobe immediately after getting out, or you'd easily catch a cold. Aside from the hot springs, there's really nothing competitive left. I won't be staying here again. At this price point, there are simply too many other options.

Although the room was small, it was well-equipped and clean, and the hot water temperature and pressure were both excellent. The main drawbacks are the lack of an elevator and a slightly confusing internal layout. The staircases connecting the 1st to 2nd floor, and then from the 2nd to the 3rd-5th floors, are not continuous; you have to walk across the entire second floor to reach the next flight. This makes it particularly challenging for guests with heavy luggage. Additionally, the inn doesn't have its own parking, so guests need to find nearby parking, but they do reimburse parking fees.

__WeChat286595****The hotel's location is super convenient, right at the end of the uphill walk, though it's about a ten-minute walk from Jinding Peak. The service was excellent. We booked during the off-season, so to get good value for money, we opted not to include breakfast, planning to just grab a quick bite before heading down the mountain. To our surprise, the hotel staff provided a complimentary breakfast for two, and it was incredibly hearty! It included congee, steamed buns, eggs, several stir-fried dishes, and pickles. The congee was thick and filling, keeping us full. The room has underfloor heating, which I recommend turning on in advance. We went up in late September, so it wasn't too cold; short sleeves were fine when the sun was out, but we needed thicker jackets for evenings or rain. At night, the heating was most comfortable around 22°C. Going higher made it too hot to sleep. Before turning it on, the floor temperature was around 16°C, and it took about two hours to reach the set 22°C. However, once it hit the target temperature, the heating seemed to keep going, making it too hot to sleep. So, it's better to keep it a bit lower. The bathroom in the room is a portable type, which I wasn't quite sure how to use. Also, after a shower, water pooled on the floor, making it quite messy. I hope this can be improved. Overall, having a room with hot showers and underfloor heating at the top of the mountain was really comfortable. If price isn't a concern, I highly recommend it; the experience was fantastic. P.S. Their stir-fried dishes were also quite good, with that wok-hei flavor. The seasoning was a little light, though. Since it's a bit cold on the mountain and many guests hike up, a bit more salt would be appreciated (unless the guests are elderly).
