"fantastic view from our corner room 718. day time and evening was amazing. clean, quiet. and comfortable. close to everything we needed. the only negative was workmen below renovating the park which was noisy at times. at the rate theyre working they will finish soon. and the toilet is in close proximity to the sleeping area little privacy."

"The hotel is a convenient walk from Leshan train station. The staff were all very friendly and made communication via WeChat easy. They were very helpful in making travel arrangements and suggesting local restaurants. The room was very modern and spacious and the shower had amazing water pressure. We had an early start to see the Leshan Buddha and the restaurant kindly arranged some dumplings and bao for us to take on our journey as we were too early for breakfast."

"The city of Leshan was one of our favorite stops during our trip to China. We went to see the Giant Buddha, and it was absolutely amazing—definitely a must-see, especially from the boat view. Our hotel room had a stunning view that honestly didn’t even compare to the pictures. It was even better in person. The toilet alone was next-level! It was pretty cold when we visited in March, but the overall experience made up for it. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We paid about $60 USD for one of the best views, and that price also included a buffet breakfast for two people, which made it an even better deal. They also had two small washer machines available. I believe they offered detergent, but we chose to use our own. The only downside is that there’s no traditional dryer—just a heated drying cabinet. You can only hang about five pieces of clothing at a time, and it takes around 1.5 hours to dry. We ended up hanging some of our clothes in the laundry room, and the staff was kind enough to rotate them for us while we were out for the day. Before traveling to China, I highly recommend downloading WeChat (for communication), Alipay (for payments), and Didi (like Uber). Not everyone speaks English, but many people will communicate with you through WeChat, which was super helpful. We also paid for a half-day extension for about $15. Our original room was already booked, so they gave us a smaller room, but it allowed us to enjoy our day and come back to shower and get ready before heading to Chengdu. If you plan on shopping, Leshan is one of the cheapest places to do it. We bought two large suitcases for $17 and $18. They were basic plastic with a simple key lock, but they did the job—we made it all the way back to Los Angeles with them. One wheel did fall off after the flight, but honestly, it was still worth it. We didn’t want to spend money on expensive luggage for a one-time use. There’s a store about a five-minute walk away—it’s like a colorful, open-style dollar store where you can just walk right in. Overall, the staff and experience were amazing. I would absolutely stay here again."

"It is a beautiful hotel at a fantastic location. You can walk to the Buddha park - 20-30 min - and it’s next to the ticket office, where they also run a shuttle bus to the giant Buddha. The hotel is very well designed and the rooms are very well presented. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely come again."

"Very zen looking hotel very near the entrance to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. We were upgraded to a room at the first level with a huge courtyard. Though nice, we did not have the time to enjoy the extra space. Both the shower and toilet doors are of translucent glass and has no lock. 4 bottles of drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided in the room. There's a small washing machine in the room but without full dryer function. Hotel compound is nice. Complimentary afternoon tea is actually self service biscuits, nuts and Chinese tea. There is also a free 3gb e-sim which we did not use. Free Hanfu experience is actually a few pieces of traditional clothings hung at the hotel reception where we are free to wear for self photo takings. We did not try as the costumes look like they were there for a long time and we were concerned about it's cleanliness. Breakfast is at another hotel a buggy ride away. We were supposed to be able to walk a short distance to the pier to board the ferry to see the Leshan Big Buddha but unfortunately, that pier was closed due to tide issues. We had to take the scenic bus (buggy) at RMB 15 per pax for a return trip to Wuyou ferry terminal to board the ferry. It was a long walk from the drop off point to the ferry terminal both ways. Would recommend this hotel for the room and hotel compound. However, if proximity to ferry terminal is a consideration, it pays to check that the pier near the hotel is in operation."

"The most notable parts of our stay were the service and the hotel design. Firstly, the hotel is beautifully designed with such a peaceful atmosphere. Secondly, we experienced some issues with the amenities but the service by the front desk and other staff was excellent. Our issue with the amenities was a shower that did not drain the used water, and therefore prevented us from using the bath tub which was meant to be the defining point of our stay at the hotel. Once the water finally drained at midnight, the drain started emitting a stale, moldy smell that filled the room.  The front desk staff were quick to understand and apologize for the issue with the amenities and stated that they would resolve it ASAP for next guest."

"房間寬敞整潔，房間有水果 ，設施齊有小冰箱、智能馬桶，茶水吧有紅、綠茶、咖啡。大堂工作人員服務優，還給我們升級了房間 ，大堂屏風隔斷左邊有酒吧。酒店有游泳池、健身房、停車場、小童樂園，房間客服阿姨服務優。酒店位置到樂山站打車10分鐘內就能到，酒店對面是世豪廣場和伊藤，伊藤後面有美食一條街逛吃逛喝都方便，酒店門口左邊不遠處就有葉婆婆缽缽雞，酒店點**也方便，機器人送餐快，酒店環境好！"

"Close to the train station (within 5 minutes walk), clean and comfortable. There is a Lawson at the first level and noodles shops as well. About 5 minute ride to Shi hao shopping area for more food options and shopping. The bathtub is a nice touch as well. There is free laundry and dryer as well. Will stay again!"

"We really enjoy our stay in JiaDing. The location and environment is chill and peaceful. Who love to enjoy natural and leave in the quiet place this hotel is suitable for u. If like to have city walk need to take taki or boat to opposite of the river. besides, the staff in the hotel is friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay in this hotel again"

"This is a beautiful hotel and the room was spacious. The service was efficient (check in and out) but attentive. I had direct access to a butler via WeChat which removed the language barrier. The non-smoking room I chose was ACTUALLY a non-smoking room which was wonderful! Will stay here again when I return to Leshan."
