Hotel berhampiran MERAL PLAZA, Istanbul

Everything about the hotel was fine for the price, great room and decent breakfast. You catch a tiny bit of cigarette smoke smell at times but not too bad, people smoke everywhere in Turkey so it's something you just have to get used to. My City Hotel doesn't seem to be particularly close to any tourist spots. We have friends nearby so location was great for us. The surrounding environment is just suburban Istanbul. There's a good mall within walking distance.

The Receptionist was excellent as was dinner - we were the only diners as it was a national holiday. The room was fine but in the morning whilst in the shower all the water in the bathroom stopped. Reception said there was a problem with their water pump which was soon resolved. The Hotel is in a business area on the Asian side which is not ideal for the airport or port.

It was a pretty strange stay and probably easiest to list the pros and cons. Pros: Location - if you want a real sense of life in Istanbul, away from the tourist areas, then this is great. We did enjoy this aspect. Staff - the staff were friendly, courteous and well-meaning. Air con - our room was beautifully cool. Great air con and a balcony which was nice. Food - the food/room service was very cheap. The French toast was the best we’d ever had! Views - we loved the view from our balcony of many colourful Turkish buildings. Shower - great, powerful shower! Cons: Location - It was very difficult to get taxis to, as the surrounding roads were shut. It’s also in a very hilly/bumpy area so not a pleasant drive. Sleep - The room featured blinds with gaps in between, meaning the room was never dark and got light very quickly. There were also small ceiling windows dotted around that couldn’t be covered and kept the room even brighter. The walls were actually the thinnest I have ever experienced, and it felt like we were in a caravan. The whole floor seemed to shake if someone shut their door, and you could hear everything your neighbours did/said (including showering and more!). Room - our room had extremely low ceilings and therefore the bed also had to be very low to the ground. Certain areas of the room were only accessible by crouching down to reach. I wouldn’t stay here again, through no fault of the staff, just the difficulties in travel and the inevitable sleep deprivation.

Me and my Familiy reserve This Very Bad Hotel and we saw on Booking that the hotel in the price of accommodation offers breakfast in the price of accommodation! When we arrive im Hotel we like to get Shower, but in badroom we can make medium hot water! Water is too Cold or Too Hot! When you get shower you start wit hot Water and then is Too cold and then Too Hot! My god you just here some of my family member screeming from badroom! that morning when we arrived the guy at the front desk was constantly trying in various ways to take more money from us and trick us in any way! first he tried to charge us another night. we arrived around 6am 17.02am because our reservation is from 17.02pm to 21.02pm on the 4th night and the guy offered us to take a look at the Two Apartments because they were both free to decide which one to take and after our decision for the apartment we asked if we could enter to the room if she is free on what he said we can go in but in that case we have to pay 5th night! we didn't want him to agree and we said we would wait until it's time to check In but they should still somehow meet us since I'm with my daughter and little baby! in the end, he said that we could enter because we didn't want to pay anything extra! the first morning when we woke up we asked where breakfast is served and that same receptionist because he said they serve in the room that the price is 80TL per person! I then asked him how to pay for breakfast when that price of accommodation includes breakfast?!? he said that breakfast is still charged after which I decided to stay in the hotel only one night because after all the attempts to take more money in any way we all felt disgusted and we felt like we came to the lowest budget hotel. after this he said he would still send us breakfast but only for two even though we had booked for four people! we felt like some beggars to whom they gave it for alms even though we paid for it all! the access to the hotel is very bad and is located on a really big hill and it is far from the city center and all the big shopping malls and all the sights! This was really the worst experience of all the hotels where my family and I were. you will also see pictures showing all the correspondence with the people from this hotel who are extremely rude and hungry and who are trying to take your money in a hundred ways! I would tell everyone who comes to this hotel to be careful not to experience something like me and my family!

This is definitely a 5 star hotel! They always offer assistant even when not needed, they did not lack anything and I truly appreciate the receptionist. I enjoyed my stay and will come again. Esma and Olgun, and Emre, and the manager Huseyin were great, every time I went out and came back in they were ready to assisted. My room was always clean and had refreshments when I came back. Thank you very much!

What can I say, the staff are fabulous, the hotel is fabulous, the location is perfect. Thank you so much Team for looking after me and my friend. I think we stayed in room 1305. There is a cafe on the first floor where you can smoke or go onto the balcony where you see the hustle and bustle of the area. I would not hesitate to return...

Ξενοδοχείο στη πλατεία Ταξίμ , σε τοποθεσία που εξυπηρετεί τις μετακινήσεις στο κέντρο της πόλης και βρίσκεις πολλά μαγαζιά και εστιατόρια. Δωμάτια χωρίς καθόλου θέα και με πολύ θόρυβο από το δρόμο. Το πρωϊνό φτωχό, μόνο η θέα από την αίθουσα του πρωϊνού αξίζει.

Начну с того, что сейчас этот отель называется DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. Бронировала я пребывание на три ночи через букинг в номере делюкс. При заезде нам был выдан другой номер, не соответсвующий описанию и фото при бронировании. Вернулись к администратору с попыткой объяснить, что номер явно другой. Он долго искал наше бронирование, нашел, в итоге дал другой номер. Он был больше и по размеру походил на тот, что был на фото, но при этом не соответстовал внешне. При этом нам было сказано, что других номеров нет. В итоге, пришлось остаться в этом номере. Потом мы начали осматривать его более детально и оказались в легком шоке. Дело было то, в каком состоянии был сам номер: дверные наличники были отломаны, стены все покоцанные до основания, незакрепленная мойка, перетертый шланг для душа, кран, который держался на честном слове. Кран и вентилятор просто торчали из стены, над дверным проемом в ванной все было замазано цементом без какой-то отделки (все есть на фото). Полотенца грязные, с остатками губной помады, а также дырками. Постельное белье тоже было под вопросом. В стоимость проживания входил завтрак, который опять же оказался не таким, как на фото на букинге. Фото завтрака тоже прикреплено к отзыву. Основное там - это полбатона. На стойке регистрации работают арабы, которые по-английский знают пару слов, то есть изъясняться с ними крайне сложно. Ну, и напоследок вишенка на торте. Решили, что не выдержим тут три ночи и уедем после двух ночей. В итоге, администраторы отменили нашу бронь, когда мы выехали, и отправили на букинг информацию о том, что мы якобы не заехали. В общем, они просто обманывают людей! Я никому не рекомендую этот отель!

Perfect stay in central of istanbul. Walking distance to Taksim and Galata Tower. Sishane metro and Tophane tram station are also nearby. Room was clean. The only thing we need maybe an electric kettle inside the room to make tea and coffee. And also more variety in the breakfast

Secara kebetulan, apabila saya datang ke hotel itu kebetulan adalah operasi percubaan, dan hampir tiada tetamu semasa wabak itu. Apabila saya mula-mula mendaftar masuk, saya hampir seorang sahaja yang bersarapan setiap hari. Makan: Dalam tempoh masa ini, saya telah memesan semua dalam menu untuk rujukan anda. Jika tidak ada gambar, anda boleh mendaftar masuk. Saya terutama mengesyorkan salad daging lembu dan sayur-sayuran (dengan kacang hijau dan taugeh) dan MANTI Turki, ”NIHAO” juga bagus. Menginap: Hotel ini mempunyai pengalaman yang sangat baik dalam semua aspek. Bilik ini mempunyai ketuhar, mesin basuh, mesin basuh pinggan mangkuk, dsb., dan semua kemudahan adalah hampir serba baharu. Terdapat bilik aktiviti kanak-kanak khas; kawasan kecergasan adalah sangat besar, dan terdapat bilik berputar dan Pilates khas; kolam renang dalaman sangat indah, dan terdapat wap kering dan wap basah di bilik persalinan. Ia mungkin kerana operasi percubaan. Dari semasa ke semasa, kakitangan meminta saya memberi pendapat, terutamanya yang ingin mendapatkan maklum balas daripada pelanggan, tetapi saya benar-benar minta maaf, saya benar-benar tidak dapat memberi sebarang pendapat. Jika markah penuh ialah 100, saya akan berikan 200 mata. Perjalanan: Ia mengambil masa setengah jam untuk memandu dari lapangan terbang ke hotel. Ia sangat mudah untuk mengambil teksi, 150 lire. Membeli-belah: Terdapat bangunan pejabat dalam masa 3 minit berjalan kaki. Terdapat makanan dan pasar raya kecil di tingkat bawah. Anda juga boleh membeli Starbucks untuk memperbaharui hidup anda. Jika anda berjalan selama 3 minit, anda boleh melihat 212outlet, yang boleh memenuhi semua keperluan membeli-belah. Jangan terlalu khusus tentang makan di Turki. Keseluruhan lantai adalah restoran di mana anda boleh makan, dan tidak banyak pilihan untuk perut Cina. Ia mengambil masa 10 minit untuk menaiki teksi dari hotel ke pusat membeli-belah Istanbul. Rasanya seperti pusat membeli-belah terbesar di kawasan ini. Rancangan asal tinggal di Turki selama 14 hari ditukar kepada 21 hari kerana tiada sesiapa dan penginapan terlalu selesa. Hari daftar keluar kebetulan adalah pembukaan rasmi hotel, dan rasanya saya tidak tahu. Untuk meminjam perkataan daripada pengurus besar: ”Restoran Cina sepatutnya dibuka apabila anda datang nanti.” Selepas terbang selama 13 jam, sudah pukul 5 petang ke San Francisco, dan akhirnya saya melampirkan matahari terbenam di negara bebas itu.
