The whole stay was pleasant, felt so relaxed like what I experienced in Melbourne Holiday Inn Express.
The location is a bit of a minus though as it is not close to central station and it's uphill. Despite the location, the facilities, breakfast and the room is good and pleasant.
Also, I would like to raise a compliment to Jack (I think that is his name) upon check out, he is friendly and nice, very efficient as well. He helped me in tagging my bags which I was not expected, as last time in Melbourne I would need to tag the bags myself.
However, during check-in, the middle-easy guy with black glasses with not polite and welcoming at all, which I was frustrated and a huge disappointment during my stay. He did not wear a name tag so I did not know his name. He did check my ID and last name, however, he did not possess basic hospitality during the whole check-in process. Even though I know they need to hold one dollar in my credit card as a pre-authorization, but he never said a word on what he is doing with my card. Until he passed me the key without any words, I looked at him, he said, ”Yeah, it's all done”. I was not even guided through all the details, such as check-out time and internet settings, which is so basic as a reception. Until I asked him where to visit around as it was my first time visiting Brisbane. He showed me a map of the city and he introduced me the Botanic Garden first, which was appreciated, but he then tell me to go to a ******, which was a bit shock to me. I think he might need to start introducing other tourists destinations instead of a ******.

I’d give a solid 9.5/10 to this hostel. Everything is great, staff is amazing - very friendly and welcoming, everyday there is an event and they are always nice, location is perfect - walking distance to all major points in the city and very close to public transports (both greyhound busses stop and train station for the airport). Guests are great too and this is a very social hostel - but fortunately not a party one. Perfect to make new friends but also to get some good sleep in a quiet place. Toilets in the rooms are a bit old and the cleanliness is not excellent but still good.
Highly recommended if you want to spend some good time in Brisbane in great social hostel.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. The location is great , located in front of a park and minutes walking from the city centre. The room is spacious and clean. The only downside was the room is located on the first floor which has no lift access. It was a struggle to manually carry the luggage up the stairs.

The staff went above and beyond to help us when we arrived in Brisbane at 4am yesterday. Only flaws are the lack of aircon on the other side of the dorm, and requiring a passport number, but all was ok in the end. We met a fellow teddy mummy and Cuddly and I made a new friend!

We had a wonderful stay at Brisbane Skytower Apartments and would definitely book again!
Location: Right in the heart of the CBD, with Queen Street Mall, South Bank and the ****** all within easy walking distance. So convenient for exploring the city.
Room: More like a stylish studio apartment than a standard hotel room. Very spacious, bright and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. We had a lovely view overlooking the river.
Facilities: The kitchen is fully equipped – not just basic stuff, but actual cookware, utensils, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a decent-sized fridge. Perfect if you feel like cooking. Also great to have both a washing machine and dryer in the room, really handy for travellers.
Service: The 24-hour front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We stored our luggage with them for a few hours after check-out so we could explore before heading to the airport – no issues at all.
All in all, a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for space, convenience and a home-away-from-home feel.

The location is the biggest asset of this nice independent hotel. It's near Toowong shopping center and the shops and restaurants that surround it, which include chemists & a 24 hour 7-11 convenience store. The hotel itself is home to the Katsuco Japanese restaurant on its ground floor- famous for its good Japanese food.
There is free parking for guests, but the lots are limited (approximately 25 lots). There is free street parking along Sherwood road on the same side as the hotel.
Hotel design, ambience, service:
The hotel lobby is cozy and compact, with a small seating area in front of the reception desk. Depending on the day of the week & time of day, the staff range from invisible to proactively polite & are generally nice. There is a lift to take you to your rooms over the three floors that it spans.
Room design, comfort, acoustics: (deluxe King)
The rooms are decently sized- with adequate room for luggage and sufficient points for charging. There is an ironing board, kettle, room safe, free tea bags, the usual soaps & conditioners and moisturizers provided. The bathrooms are well designed with a nifty smart/switchable/ dynamic glass looking into the bedroom. The shower head is a rain shower type - definitely giving it cred. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable indeed- standout & remarkable. There are blackout curtains which work well. As for the acoustics- overall decently quiet given the location at the corner of a busy crossroad. Noise from the corridor does seep in depending on your neighbors. There is also the usual mild hum & grumble from the bar fridge & whine from the air conditioner. The occasional street car cacophony can be heard during the day, but generally it's quiet at night. So a good night's sleep is mostly achievable.
Overall: At the risk of making it more popular than it already is, this is a highly recommended property outside the city, with free parking. Will return if in the area!

But when it comes to booking and service this is another story .. for the money I paid to stay 2 night I thought this would be the perfect place to rest I’m 5 star style .. place yes , service a disaster. Firstly when I arrived at Swiss bel .. I went to reception to book in as I booked online a queen bed room he asked if I had a vehicle I said yes agreed to the $35 a night and he said he would just take it out of the bond I paid at end if that was ok I said yes perfect .. when I got up to my room it was 2 single I called reception and advised I had booked a queen bed and there is 2 singles he said oh the house keeper hadn’t changed the beds or didn’t look at booking , I asked if someone could just come up and fix .. he said there is noone to do this now come down and j will find another room for you . I went down stairs said I would go get something to eat and when I come back hopefully a room will be sorted. I came back he advised me that he had upgraded me and I asked if I could have the new key and I will switch rooms and come back down with the other key to save me bringing my luggage down and then back up again. I got to room and key didn’t work to go to 6th floor . So I brought my luggage down and told reception that key didn’t work . He said sometimes this happens with those keys /actually quite often said he would come up with me and check . Yes card did not work so he used his staff card to let me in said he would fix and come back . He came back 10mins later to test and it had been foxed . Not sure what the upgrade as as room was smaller than the first , had no shower gel (was empty container when I went into have a shower) thought it may have been replenished on next day with room
Clean still empty on second day and cleaner took face washers and never replaced them so I washed with shampoo and a hand towel .. when I came back on second day went to put card into open the car park and it didn’t work .. I went to reception to let them know I was trying to get into car park and the card doesn’t work, she (Asian lady) advised me that I hadn’t paid for parking .. I had to explain everything from the night before then asked me they will take it out of my bind I said yes that’s what I agreed with the night before . No apology just more interested in getting payment for parking. She added parking to
Card then said she would come out and make sure it worked as I said the night before man had to come

Went back into get then came out .. followed me down then gave me a card .. I later received a phone call from a lady called Theresa asking how my stay was and I explain that it has been the most disappointing experience I have had ever ! Explained the above she said she would come and replace the shower gel and face washers I said it’s ok I have already had my shower used a hand towel and shampoo because I’m already in bed .. she said that I hope that my stay apologetic on my experience already , I hope it is better from now and if I need anything to contact her and ask for Theresa I said thank you I appreciated the call … then then 10
Minutes later she comes knocking on my door I have to get dress to answer the door she knocks again I said I’m coming
She is at the door with the shower gel and face washers getting me out of bed . I understand why she brought it but I told her I was in bed and I had already showered . So then I go to hand my key in to check out to be told I have outstanding parking I need to pay .. I advised Theresa that it is coming out of the bond payed and this has been told now to 3 people .. as I said place is absolutely fantastic.. apart from missing shower gel and tissues

浴室的花灑一開就有奇怪的機械聲音 但是洗手盆有兩個還是好評
房間床上有一些黑點但房間挺大的 衹是低樓層窗外可以説是沒有景色甚至沒有私隱 2樓對着人來人往的車庫
第二天早上莫名其妙信用卡里扣了除按金100刀外的270多刀，郵件聯繫經理後沒有解釋衹是道歉退款 感覺很莫名其妙

PPengguna TetamuIt was a bit painful from the get go checking in. You have to go to a different hotel a block over. There is nowhere to park to check in. I called the number to be put through to a call centre that isn’t on site.
Call 1: yes you can park in the visitor parking just buzz and they’ll let you in.
Call 2: while blocking the driveway I’m unable to find a buzzer that reaches reception. Operator sounds confused, I hang up and someone is coming out so I sneak in.
Call 3: I’m parked in visitor parks, go up the lift and come out at another building. She again sounds confused. If I go out the door I won’t be able to get back in without a fob, so I’m asking which way I should go. There are no signs to tell me how to get to Ivy and Eve apartments. I eventually find a worker who takes me around to reception. Sorted. Or so I think.
I check in with reception. The girl was really lovely and informative. So I think, until I reach the carpark of the next building I’m staying at. The sheet of paper she gave me says “your allocated car space is 131 and is located on 55. I drive in looking for level 55, car space 131. Neither of these exist.
Call 4: Where is my carpark? Am I missing something. Keep in mind every time I call I’m asked to give all my details so they can verify my booking so by now I’m pretty tired of it all. She finds my booking and says oh yes you’re in park 55 on level B1. (See photo for why I was confused!)
I drive around the carpark looking for a 55. It doesn’t exist. All carparks are labelled with a sign saying Art house and 4 numbers. Ok maybe it’s the last 2? Nope doesn’t exist. After driving around for a bit I realise there are numbers on the ground of the carpark that are completely different to the signs (I didn’t look at the ground because the signs said art house)
So finally I work out that this is my park. Another confused guest stops to ask me where his park might be and I explain it’s the floor ones not the art house signs. So I wasn’t the only one.
Ok so park the car, go upstairs to room 1106 which of course is on floor 10. Makes sense lol. As soon as I open the door I’m hit with a wet musty kind of smell. Like the place had been flooded and not allowed to dry out properly maybe? I opened all the windows and when that didn’t work I went and bought some air freshener to hide the smell a bit.
We left all the doors open all night and next day and the smell improved. The lounge chairs are not comfy if you’re looking for a stay in watch Netflix type staycay, but the beds are really comfy. The place was pretty immaculately clean so that was nice. And washer dryer were great to have.
If I had have known I’d need to go through all that checkin at another building I would not have booked. Maybe I missed the part that mentioned this? Ahh well we enjoyed our stay in general, it just didn’t get off to a good start.

フロントがどこか少し迷いましたが、「ガッバセントラルはこちら」という看板を辿れば問題なく辿り着けると思います。フロントは小さく、右手に部屋につながるエレベーターがあります。フロントキーはかざすタイプで、エレベーターもかざしてから自分の階のボタンを押すと動きます。
フロントの方の対応は丁寧でとても親切な印象でした。また部屋も清潔でキッチンや洗濯機、乾燥機まで付いていました。コンセントタイプはOかO2があれば使用できます。
近くのバス停も徒歩3分ほどで着くのでアクセスも便利で大変満足しました。

PPengguna TetamuStayed here twice. First time was really good, the second time the room had still some rubbish. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms quiet. Location is great, close to mega mall and public transport. Breakfast was simple - no cheese or yogurt - but ok. The only negative thing is the WiFi. It is slow and hangs sometimes. It also has a minimal quota.

With a relaxed atmosphere , sit out on the front porch and watch the city start to wake up.
