I recently stayed at Blue shark see view Hotel in my trip to Xiamen and overall, I had a positive experience. The hotel is Situated in a touristy part of the city, close to public transportation, banks, restaurants and shopping malls. The room and common areas were decent and tidy. My room 1715 was spacious and it had a wonderful view, the only thing to importe is the stains on the ceiling and provide regular towels instead of disposable ones. breakfast is not included but there are cafes walking distance. The internet connection was good in general.
Overall, the hotel offers good value for money and a comfortable stay in Xiamen.

I and my friend stayed here on the last day of the year. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment. It’s suitable for 4 people. One room has a fantastic sea view while another room has a garden view. It’s not noisy at all in the room with garden view. There’s a bus stop next to the hotel. Convenient location to the beach! Fantastic breakfast! Need to checkout punctually at 12.00pm. Not allowing for late checkout.

I had a great stay in this property, got the room for a very affordable price, the location is very accessible to all, there is a mall, coffee shop, restaurant and convenience store downstairs and also the room had a nice view. The host is very accommodating, they have a cleaning service everyday and most importantly for me is the cleanliness of the room, the room is well maintained that's why i felt comfortable on my entire stay. I would give a 10 star if I could! First of all, this is a lovely place tugged in a quieter neighbourhood near Xiamen University. The reception lady was kind enough to send us the location pin in advance so it was easy enough to find. It’s actually pretty convenient as there is a bus stop right in front of the hostel. Inside the room is as nice as shown in the photos. What’s most impressive for us is that we left a few red pockets in the room without knowing, and the reception lady notified us and sent back the money to us. The integrity and the thoughtfuless of the entire team really shines. I would absolutely recommend anyone who’d like a short visit to Xiamen!

設施很新，服務態度很好！衞生乾淨，帶着長輩和孩子過來玩，因為第一次訂民宿，所以很多不確定的問題，訂房間那天大晚上一直諮詢各種問題，老闆小哥哥很耐心一一替我解答。到了以後，老闆主動幫我們提箱子上樓，安排了安靜的房間，照片和圖片是一樣的，而且很乾凈。起碼我們住的幾天沒碰到蟲子什麼的，洗澡水也一直很大，三樓有個集中晾曬區，衣服也容易幹。老闆也很直爽，有問必答。樓下是廈大的小吃街，有平價的學生愛的食物，也有網紅海鮮店，離民宿走一兩分鐘就有羅森和seven便利店，公交站也是起點站，坐車出去也有位子。總體來説很滿意的，全五星！下次還會推薦！！！

Ik was laat gearriveerd en moest een nummer bellen om in te checken. Ik denk dat de eigenaar mij heeft geholpen met inchecken, ik kreeg ook een veel beter kamer toegewezen. Alleen was het wel jammer dat mensen in de kamers roken dus blijf er een sterke rook geur hangen. Plus er was geen waterfilter om je fles te vullen had wel fijn gewezen en ik zag een grote kakkerlak in mijn kamer snachts omdat er een gleuf zit in de deuren. Er is wel een grote balkon gedeelte waar je kan zitten of je kleren ophangen als je in een van beter kamers zit.

Looked great in the listing but in reality it was not so much, room was reasonable size with a dated and somewhat run down decor, shower leaks so some of the floor boards are rotting away, shower is mouldy and not pleasant to shower in and towels are disposable which are not sufficient to dry me off. Window is very dirty so the view is impared, otherwise a decent view but once you have seen it once its not that interesting and you realise its not really worth paying extra for. Stayed here nights, it was ok (ish) but I was happy to move on.

I did not expect much since the price was really cheap. The location is perfect, 2 minutes by walking from the sea and from a street food full of restaurants and lively people. The staff was amazing, always joking around and behaving like a big brother to me and my friend so it was really a pleasure. The bathroom was not that clean and there wasn’t any soap so we had to use the shower gel. Bed really comfortable and clean bedsheets.

This is a great hotel! Smallish rooms, but near tourist sites (Xiamen University, seaside, Shapowei). Rooms are comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel consists of two buildings. My room was in building 2 (the annex, opposite the main building), which was fine. At first, I was a little worried about noise, as my room directly overlooked the entrance to the main building. But in fact, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, which was great! Not even much noise from other rooms, except some light muffled sounds. Much better than the average poorly soundproofed Chinese hotel, which in itself is a reason for me to highly recommend this hotel. The only negative point was that there's clearly some kind of leak in the bathroom, meaning there was all the time a small puddle of water near the toilet (other than that, it was fine). It was great to be able to use the washing machine for free (receptionist helped with that and even provided washing detergent for free). This area is popular with tourists, so some parts were crowded (in the past, I have stayed in other areas of Xiamen which perhaps as an area I preferred). I loved the network of little alleys that the hotel is located in though, which (unlike nearby Shapowei tourist area) seemed quaint and authentic. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again.

I only stayed for one night, but it was a fantastic experience. The price is very affordable given the high quality and fully equipped room. What impressed me the most was the receptionist's hospitality, they not only gave me detailed directions but also sent me a thoughtful message with tips on how to avoid local scams, it made me feel so much safer. The hotel is located right in the heart of the food and shopping area, and it's just a few minutes walk to the beach 🏝️ . Highly recommended 👍

It feels like a hidden oasis away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet it remains conveniently located. The views are stunning, and the overall atmosphere is one of peace and relaxation. It's an ideal spot for both couples and families looking to unwind.
Excellent Hotel Facilities:
The facilities are top-notch. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured a modern design with all the amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Beyond the room, the swimming pool was a delight, and the fitness center was well-equipped. Every corner of the resort is maintained to a very high standard.
Standout Service from 小陈 (Xiao Chen):
While every staff member we encountered was professional and friendly, one individual truly made our stay unforgettable: a gentleman named 小陈 (Xiao Chen). His service was, without exaggeration, world-class. He was incredibly thoughtful and anticipatory, always seeming to know what we needed before we even asked. From offering insightful local tips to ensuring every small detail of our room was perfect, his attention to care was remarkable. He embodies the true spirit of hospitality and is a tremendous asset to the Kulangsi Resort.
Verdict:
I wholeheartedly recommend the Kulangsi Resort. The beautiful environment and excellent facilities provide the perfect backdrop, but it's the outstanding service from people like Xiao Chen that transforms a great stay into a truly memorable one. We will definitely be returning.

YYappariStory⭐ 5/5 — A Truly Exceptional, Warm-Hearted Stay at Zengcuo’an Village ⭐
I travel often and have experienced many different types of hotels and accommodations over the years. From 25 Nov 2025, I stayed at Hua Cai Xiao Zhu · Florich 民宿 (环岛南路曾厝垵店) for 12 nights, and extended my stay by another 3 nights because it genuinely felt like home. That alone says everything. 😊
From the moment I arrived, the experience was not just comfortable, but deeply warm and reassuring, thanks to the owner and housekeeper who went out of their way to make sure every detail of my stay was taken care of. 🙏
I stayed in the Huacai Balcony Tub Room on the 5th level. I believe this is the only accommodation in Zengcuo'an that has an elevator.
The room was very clean, modern, and thoughtfully equipped. The large bathtub and giant HD projector made every evening wonderfully relaxing. The balcony overlooks Zengcuo’an Village and is just 50 metres from the village church. I even enjoyed a beautiful sunrise at around 6:30am right from my room. 🌄
The location is outstanding. It’s about 200 metres from the main entrance of Zengcuo’an Village, surrounded by everything you could possibly need. There are countless eateries nearby, including my personal favourite right in front of the accommodation — 福鼎肉片小吃店, run by the warm and amiable 美金姐, a 56-year-old local lady (highly recommended!). 😋😋
Convenience stores, fashion and accessory shops, souvenir stalls, luggage shops, spas, travel agencies — and even a McDonald’s — are all within easy reach. 👍👍
Several attractions are also within walking distance, including Pearl Public Beach and Music Square. One of the smartest ways to explore Xiamen is the CNY 50 hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus (24 stops), with the bus stop conveniently located right in front of the village on the right side. It’s honestly the most affordable and efficient way to see the city.
What truly made this stay exceptional, however, were the people. 👬👭 The owner, 许老板, is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He patiently gave directions, recommended places to visit, pointed out nearby essentials like the bank and pharmacy, and even allowed me to store my luggage while I was away for a few days. When I checked out, I was down with a cold — he not only helped with my luggage, but also personally drove me to the airport, making sure I arrived safely. That level of care is rare. 💯💯💯
The housekeeper, 秀容, is equally wonderful. Always smiling, always attentive, she made sure I was comfortable every single day — from providing extra water, tissues, and towels to quietly checking that everything was in order. Her warmth made the entire stay feel effortless and homely.

One last tip: don’t miss the sunset. Walk across the overhead bridge from the village and enjoy the beach scene between 4:30pm and 6:30pm — it’s absolutely unforgettable.🌻🌷

PPengguna Tetamuthe scenery was gorgeous at night and in the morning,, definitely would recommend! front desk receptionist was also really helpful to us ! i bought taobao and both receptionist was very kind enough to help me find my parcel and the lady even helped me with the pick lockers because i was not a local so i did not know where it was. there are loads of food around the hotel as it was a 2-3 minutes walk away from zhongshan lu!! overall the stay in the hotel is very clean, and there was room service everyday so don’t need to worry if you make a mess. everything is provided as well and receptionist is also very kind enough to let us know about the scams that we have to be wary about! very informative and friendly personalities !! definitely recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a good hotel for an affordable price !

BBlindSmileThis was my second time staying here, and I chose the Deluxe Suite. The room was spacious, clean, and felt more like a serviced apartment—with a huge sofa that could easily seat 6–8 people, a proper living area, and a comfy king bed that made it easy to get good rest.
The hotel has its own dedicated lobby for drop-off and pick-up, which made arrivals smooth and hassle-free.
Staff were friendly and attentive. I was offered free breakfast, and they even helped with laundry by moving my clothes from the washer to the dryer and placing them at the counter for pickup—just let them know in advance.
The food was great, with a mix of Western and Chinese options that were both delicious and satisfying.
The location is convenient, especially if you're attending events at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, and getting around the area is easy.
Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay. Everything was handled with care. I’ll definitely be back.
这是我第二次入住这家酒店，这次选择了豪华套房。房间非常宽敞干净，更像一个服务式公寓——有超大的沙发，能坐下6到8个人，还有独立的客厅空间，特大床也非常舒适，睡得很好。
酒店有独立的大堂接送区，上下车非常方便，特别适合带行李或打车进出。
工作人员非常友善且乐于助人。他们为我提供了免费早餐，还贴心地帮我把洗衣机里的衣服转移到烘干机，然后放到前台等我来取——提前告诉他们一声就可以。
中餐和西餐都很好吃，早餐种类丰富，品质也不错。
酒店的位置很方便，去厦门国际会展中心非常近，出行也很方便。
整体体验非常顺畅和舒适，服务周到，物有所值。下次还会再来。

OOhYLThe hotel is situated at a very bustling shopping street area, you can get all the local foods/snacks and a great place to buy souvenirs and gifts. Beside the hotel side door is 24hr mart and Luckin coffee, very convenient. Although the hotel looks abit dated but cleanliness is still up to standard and room is spacious. Laundry room and gym is abit hectic to get to, u need to climb a flight of stairs from 2nd floor to 3rd floor ( not accessible by lift). I liked the customer services from the reception and housekeeping, they attended to our issues promptly and sincerely. We had enjoyed the stay with the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel at 9:45 PM on the eve of Chinese New Year. Given the late hour and festive season, we were concerned that nearby restaurants might already be closed. To our pleasant surprise, several small eateries within 50 meters of the hotel were still open, allowing us to enjoy a proper late dinner. It was a reassuring start to our stay.
The hotel’s environment is comfortable and welcoming. The lobby features a bright, clean design with warm wood tones and soft lighting that create a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The front desk staff were professional and courteous, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient despite the late hour.
We stayed in the Premier Themed Room (Japanese Style with Sakura), which was truly one of the highlights of our trip.
Upon entering, we were greeted by a beautifully designed Japanese-inspired interior. Warm lighting, wooden flooring, and delicate sakura (cherry blossom) wall art created a serene and elegant ambiance. Wooden partition panels and subtle decorative details added refinement, giving the space an artistic yet tranquil feel — almost like a small ryokan-style retreat in the heart of Xiamen.
The room was thoughtfully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean. A charming feature was the private balcony, which allowed fresh air in.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable, dressed in crisp white linens. The mattress offered excellent support, and the pillows were soft yet supportive, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.
All essential toiletries were generously provided, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dental kits, slippers, and towels. Everything was neatly arranged and well-maintained, reflecting attention to guest comfort.
The complimentary breakfast was another pleasant surprise. It offered a good variety of well-prepared options, making it a satisfying way to start each day.
The location is highly convenient, close to the Xiamen International Convention & Exhibition Center, with California Plaza Shopping Mall next door offering numerous dining choices. Whether for business or leisure, the hotel is an excellent option.
Most importantly, the nightly rate was very reasonable and offered excellent value, especially considering the themed décor, balcony, full amenities, and included breakfast. The stay exceeded our expectations.
We would gladly choose this room again on our next visit.

PPengguna TetamuReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
