BBKTanNormally l don't give bad review for any hotel l stayed but on the down side, the hotel management needs to review the functionality of their centralised air-conditioning. I was offered to upgrade to a brighter room with a fees which l gracefully accepted for 2 nights ( was told the room was 2 grades higher than my original reservation), indeed the room has a glass wall facing the afternoon sun, despite it's winter, only realised the room was too warm to stay in the afternoon. I tried to adjust the air-condition but failed due to its centralised control system. Twice approached the hotel staff for assistance, was told they can't adjust it and advised to turn-on minimum fans speed (tried but failed too). I believed the management was aware of this with a notice put up at the lift entrance that they will try their best to adjust to suit majority of the guest ( pl view photo enclosed). I do believe this approach does not fit into hospitality sector. In order to alleviate the condition, l opted to open the door and window while having my afternoon nap without turning on air-condition :(
However on the positive sides, the hotel provides good breakfast, free DIY laundry with detergent ang dryer, afternoon snacks ( roasted sweet potatoes), late checkout, strategic location.
