PPengguna TetamuVery thoughtfully designed facilities and rooms for maximum convenience and rest. Super clean! The staff is amazing. The inner green space is calming. They have all kind of sitting spaces, including bean-bags. I stayed for 2 nights only, but I could have spent a week there. This is one of the best accommodations I have booked.

PPanamaxThe hotel is overall okay — suitable if you’re mainly looking for a place to sleep rather than to spend much time in. The staff have very limited English skills, so communication can be a bit difficult. Use Google Translate ;) We were upgraded from a double to a quadruple room, which was kind but resulted in less space to move around as most of the room was taken up by beds. The bathroom was clean and featured a modern Japanese-style toilet. The shower was pleasant, with an adjustable showerhead for different water streams. The ceilings are low. Wi-Fi was quite slow, making it difficult to stream a movie in the evening. The telephone in the room, which we didn’t use, was visibly dirty and could use a deep clean. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including many vegetarian-friendly dishes, which we appreciated. However, most of the food — including the eggs — was served cold. Note that not the entire building belongs to the hotel; the third floor appears to be residential, so you may see some locals passing through. We stayed on the fifth floor — some street noise was noticeable, but we still slept well. The hotel feels relatively new, with fresh mattresses and feather pillows, which were comfortable. Most of the other guests seemed to be domestic Chinese tourists. Given the above mentioned points I would recommend to rather stay at Norden Ruder Branch 2 across the street, where you also get a more international flair.

PPengguna TetamuPool was under maintenance during the period of stay. Location though at night market was still a distance away from railway station. Taxi fare abt TWD220. There was hotel shuttle service but no clear instructions on how to book in advance. Info not available on trip.com. Concierge staff did not readily offer the service also. Was told only available to members. Not for 3rd party booking. Am disappointed. Room was spacious. 2 queen size beds. But toilet and bathroom were small. Head will hit the door if I sit at toilet bowl and lean just a bit forward. The bathroom door hits the rain shower head, so if not notice, and open the door with force may break the glass door. Yellow lights in the room were very dim. Make ambience cozy and classy but very straining to the eyes. 2 out of 3 laundry machines out of order. Laundry powder did not dispense from vending machine. Hv to change coins at lobby when laundry is at 6th floor. Overall, not quite up to expectations unfortunately.

DDongfang QingcangChaikuo Waterfront was a wonderful place to stay on Green Island. The hotel has a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful location close to the sea, making it feel like a perfect island escape. It was a lovely base for exploring Green Island while still having a quiet and comfortable place to return to afterward. The surroundings were especially memorable. Being near the waterfront made the stay feel very atmospheric, with fresh sea air, ocean views, and the calm rhythm of island life all around. The place felt clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged, with a simple charm that matched Green Island perfectly. I would definitely recommend Chaikuo Waterfront to travelers who want accommodation that feels intimate, scenic, and connected to the natural beauty of the island. It is a great choice for couples, friends, or anyone looking for a peaceful stay by the sea.

FFerfer8Note that there’s NO LIFT in this inn so if you have heavy luggages or bags, do consider again. Booked room with 3 Futon beds for family of 5 but no space to open up luggages to pack actually. With 1 luggage open, not much space to walk anymore. The kids did enjoy the futon bed concept and aircon was working well. Clean beds, clean sheets nonetheless. There’s a small kitchen with microwave that is common space for all rooms, and some space to eat if you need to eat in. Some parking space along the roadside, or garden area nearby. 24hr laundromat is 5 mins walk to the main road. It’s an inn so have to manage expectations of space.

IIrvineMom820Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, and overall, I wouldn't consider it worth the cost. The hotel itself is old, and the facilities feel very dated. While it boasts a large swimming pool and spa areas, they were unusable during our stay as they were running with cold water. We didn’t see anyone using them. The “beauty pool,” which was advertised as having heated water, was disappointing due to a strong sewer-like smell. Additionally, the sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable. The dining experience was also underwhelming. The à la carte food in the restaurant was below average in quality, the portions were small, and the prices were high. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, though it felt odd being the only customers at 8 p.m. On a brighter note, the breakfast was excellent. I would rate it four stars for its variety of local and aboriginal food, which was a highlight of the stay. The timing of activities for kids was inconvenient as well. While kids could play pool and ping pong for free in the evening (after we arrived at 7 p.m.), all other activities were scheduled for late morning or early afternoon, after checkout time. The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is far from restaurants and busy areas, making it necessary to have a car or take a taxi. The one positive aspect of our stay was the room. We booked the premium family room/suite, which provided separate sleeping areas for parents and kids—a feature we appreciated. However, this came at a premium price, costing 25% more. I had requested a room with a view, and the front desk clerk was accommodating, which I appreciated. Overall, while the room and breakfast were nice, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost or the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and services.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe location of the hostel is about 100m away from Taitung bus station. The bed/pillow/blanket are hotel standard as their main service is hotel. However, there is only 1 toilet for 6 beds. Also, there is no sign in the room indicating 'to keep lower voice/sound'. Had bad experience that local young lady return to the hostel in the middle of the night with big bang sound and walk on the tatami like big elephant for several nights. Also, waking up at around 6am with very harsh sound drawing the curtain. Definitely not a good experience. The hotel should put a note to remind all traveller to behave themselves. I believe the local has lesser experience to respect other travellers when staying in dormitory.
