AAaron IA transit solid hotel. One metro stop from North Qingdao Station (which goes directly to the airport - hence I stayed here). Good breakfast, and many good restaurants around, as well as a large supermarket. the Service was good and helpful (although there is no english at all). Overall, I am pleased with the choice. And would stay again.

One of the hotel’s strongest advantages is its location. Being situated close to Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport makes it an ideal choice for transit passengers or those with early departures or late arrivals. The transfer process was straightforward, and the proximity significantly reduced travel-related stress.
The Deluxe Queen Room itself was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-maintained, with clean linens, a tidy bathroom, and adequate amenities. The layout felt functional rather than overly luxurious, but it delivered exactly what one would expect from an airport hotel in this category. Sound insulation was reasonably effective; despite the airport location, noise levels were minimal and did not disrupt rest.
Service throughout the stay was professional and efficient, with a level of attentiveness that stood out in the smaller details. In particular, the duty manager, Ali, made a strong impression through his proactive hospitality. As a welcome gesture, he personally brought a selection of local Shandong and Qingdao soft drinks to my room, which was a thoughtful and culturally considerate touch. This small act added a personal dimension to the stay and reflected a genuine commitment to guest experience beyond standard service expectations.
Facilities appeared comprehensive, though my stay was brief and primarily focused on rest rather than exploring all offerings. The lobby and common areas were well presented, creating a calm and organised first impression. Dining options were convenient, and while not exceptional, they were satisfactory in quality and variety for a short stay.
In terms of value, the hotel performs strongly. It delivers reliability, cleanliness, and comfort without unnecessary extravagance. For travelers prioritising practicality, convenience, and a good night’s sleep before or after a flight, it is a solid choice.
Overall, the Grand Barony Qingdao Airport Hotel provides a balanced blend of efficiency, comfort, and accessibility. The attentive service, highlighted by small but meaningful gestures from staff such as Ali, elevates the experience and reinforces the hotel’s reputation as a high-quality and dependable airport accommodation option.

AArnont BoosarawongseWe had such a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely perfect—having the May 4th Square Metro station right outside the front door made getting around so easy. It’s also great value for the price. Everyone on the staff was so kind, but a special shoutout goes to the housekeeping team. They were so attentive and even left us a sweet little note in our room, which was such a lovely touch! We’re already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Qingdao.

LLou-MarieThis is a must stay hotel. Everything was perfect. The rooms have all the amenities you could think of. The restaurant offers Chinese foods and Western foods. The staff are professional, polite, friendly and helpful. I will definitely book at the Movenpick hotel group in the future.

PPengguna TetamuHotel was very nice. Two big beds, nice restroom. The TV was next to the wall and close to the beds so it was tight and could have easily bumped into it. It was a little hot in the room but other than that, clean, modern, and had all the amenities. Bathroom was big and luxurious and finally the breakfast buffet was incredible. In China, the staff do not smile as much as those in Japan but get used to it. To get to this airport hotel, i had to find the #1 gate on the 4F walk down a long corridor and then turn left. Look for VIP signs. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the price was only like $78 Canadian for one night which is a lot for their standards. Highly recommended. It was a one night layover so I went downtown but the last train back was 10pm. I didn't know that from using AMap, the maps program in China, and missed it. It cost me $30. I had to negotiate with the driver who first suggested 200 RMB ($40). He then lowered it to 180, 160 but I said 130 and then he said 150 because he had to pay a 20 rmb toll. I used alipay and paid it. I guess i forgot to tip. Nice hotel overall. Only a few people ate the breakfast buffet at 5:45am.

JJesse CCCIt does have that old hotel smell but it didn’t take long for me to not notice it. On the other hand, if you’re sensitive to such things, then keep that in mind. The room is solid and the bed is comfortable. The real plus is the location and price. Good hotel.

PPengguna Tetamu這是我們來青島住的第一家酒店，選擇的無窗房型，房間比較小，無窗的不太透氣住着不舒服，所以第二晚第三晚我們就換去附近的另一家酒店了。
房間裏該有的都有，但是酒店沒有洗衣機啥的，也算正常，這畢竟是個小酒店。酒店對面就是一個商場，還挺方便的。
前台退按金也很快，走的時候退了房卡就直接退按金。
整體來説是還不錯的，但是我更喜歡我後來住的那兩晚酒店（斑馬精選酒店）第一次來青島的朋友可以參考

CCorey.This hotel is in a perfect quiet location just minutes away from the beach and the metro ! There is many delicious restaurants nearby and some small stores. The rooms are big a spacious with everything you need , the staff are always there to help you with anything you need , will definitely come back to stay here !

MM&MstourIt would be 10/10 for this hotel but as we were there there was a big renovation going on and it was noisy from early morning to late afternoon. They should have closed the hotel instead of selling discounted rooms - very unprofessional and unpleasant for all the guest who dated to stay
