SSweetbearbearEverything was very good. Staffs are kind and warm welcoming. There is free shuttle bus service from kaoshung to hotel, it’s very convenient. A bar located on the beach. Grab some beer at night with good vibe. It’s perfect!

SSuzieWe stayed at the 海景三合院特色民宿 Seashoy BnB during the Qingming Festival holiday weekend. The architecture is stunning.
The owners contacted me before we traveled to the island, asking if we wanted help booking the ferry and a scooter. They're very helpful people! Once we arrived, they gave us maps showing tourist places of interest, and which beaches are safe for swimming.
They can also give advice about restaurants. The location is great, there's a beach within walking distance and a few restaurants and bars. But if you have a scooter/motorbike then it's easy to get around the island from anywhere.
I really liked that there is a building with extra showers, sinks and mirrors- and you can wash your swimsuits and towels without having to trek messy sand into your room after a day at the beach.
Even though the room was a little small, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK, you should collect it from the reception early or it'll get cold.
When we checked out, we were kindly given traditional Liuqiu cookies and cards with artwork.
I know that the price was a bit high because of the holiday weekend demand, but it was definitely worth it for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Liuqiu Island.

SStaycationBearyFrom arrival to departure, the service was excellent. The staff and crew displayed warm hospitality and were attentive to guests' needs. Like many hotels in Taiwan, in-room utilities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own.
Sunshine Liv partners with a scooter rental shop that delivers and collects the scooter directly at the homestay. The rental price is reasonable at TWD 400 for 24 hours, and there’s no requirement to return the scooter with a full tank. The homestay is also conveniently located, with the nearest night market just a 10-minute scooter ride away.
We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade with stunning ocean views! The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The TV offers a wide selection of channels across various genres, catering to different preferences. Additionally, the homestay serves a delightful home-cooked style breakfast.
Overall, we highly recommend visiting Kenting, and Sunshine Liv is an excellent choice for accommodation!
P.S. Complimentary parking is available for in-house guests, but the parking space is quite narrow, so drivers should proceed with caution.

RRosiemckkOne of the best hostels I have stayed in! The hostel is beautifully decorated and feels super modern but also nice and cosy. It is very clean and peaceful in the evenings, but is only a minutes walk away from the shops and the Main Street, and only ten minutes from the beach and the ferry! The two girls working on reception were incredibly kind and really friendly and happy to chat and help with anything. They were the highlight of my stay. You can rent snorkels from them too. I would 10/10 recommend this hostel to anyone!

JJane M YHotel Review (Accessibility & Safety Concerns):
The location of this hotel is very convenient — it is close to the beach and within walking distance to the night market, which is definitely a plus.
However, overall my stay was not very comfortable.
Inside the room, the floor is not completely even. While it may not seem like a big issue at first, it could easily become a tripping hazard, especially for older guests or anyone not paying close attention.
The bathroom is also not separated into dry and wet areas, which makes it more slippery and less convenient to use.
Another important point is that the hotel does not have an elevator. Carrying luggage up and down the stairs can be quite inconvenient, particularly for elderly guests or those with heavy bags.
Although the interior design may look quite stylish or luxurious at first glance, in reality it feels impractical and raises safety concerns. There are other small details as well, but I will not go into them here.
I understand that different properties have their own limitations, and I am sharing this from a personal perspective. I hope this information can be helpful for future travelers when making their decision.

PPengguna TetamuRoom was nice. No sound proofing. Shower water pressure fluctuates, and hot water takes a while to kick in. No service staff unless there is an issue or checking in, so everything is done by keycard.

JJoyce KaesBig, clean room. We could rent electrical scooters via the hotel. The swimming pool was ideal for kids or to sit in to cool down. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone. The hotel also picked us up from the harbour.

RRickihoLocation is perfect off Dawan next to the coast, beach is only 1min away! We likes our particular room but noted not all layouts are the same.
Has water machine and beds are comfy.
Parking is just right off the back and very easy to access night market. As off and away from main street, it is still quiet at night.
We loved the balcony and definitely will recommend it over some nearby options.

EEnglish DugFu Bin met my needs very well. Very welcoming staff, who are a family. They did laundry for me and gave me hangers to dry, and they didn't want to charge for the laundry. That saved me valuable time and made my first trip to Kenting better utilised.
Everything at Fu Bin was as described, and they supplied a bowl and cutlery very promptly. It's easy to communicate with the staff by WhatsApp (or wechat, i can't remember) if you don't want to go downstairs.
For the price I feel the facilities are fine. No lift, limited view of the night market, decent air con, but I didn't need it all the time anyway. They were relaxed but efficient, and this made me feel more relaxed.
I walked to the lovely small beach for swimming, 10 minutes past the night market and in front of Caesar Hotel. The NM is fairly typical of Taiwan and not as co gestsd as the HK ones. I felt well priced for ”Western” currency (£) although TW people are not using Kenting for holidays so much these days. I swum at sunset for the first two days and early morning the third day. It's the best beach I have encountered in 60 years! The Caesar outdoors bar has some groovy music in the evenings, and I recommend having a drink there to finish your sunset swim. It's clean and idyllic.
Overall, my experience of Kenting was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful people, great facilities and beautiful flora and fauna. The history and places of indigenous people are worth checking out, especially if you have your own transport. I hope business is good for you all. Tsiu tsiu!

TTuticaHotel is localted in front of the sea, the views are amazing! The room is not that big but it is comfortable and the bed too. The bathroom is also really good and spacious, maybe something to cover while taking a shower would be good. They also offer breakfast, it is good, however, we wanted it one day at 7:00am because our bus was leaving early and it was not possible. The decoration is also nice.
