A Stellar Stay with Unforgettable Service - My New Go-To Hotel! I recently stayed at the Hilton and the experience was so positive it has cemented my loyalty. I was actually trying to decide between two hotels for our trip to visit friends, and I am so incredibly happy I chose the Hilton. From the moment we arrived, exhausted and weary from a long train journey, we were met with exceptional kindness. A huge shout-out to Luk Yue at the front desk. His service was nothing short of excellent. He was so polite, kind, and understanding of our tired state. To our absolute delight, he generously offered us a complimentary room upgrade. This gesture turned a good stay into an amazing one and set the tone for our entire visit. The room itself was perfect. The bed was amazingly soft, offering a truly restful sleep we desperately needed. The room temperature was easy to control and always comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, and the level of cleanliness throughout was impeccable—everything was spotless. Furthermore, the buffet breakfast was absolutely fantastic! It offered a huge variety of hot and cold items, all fresh and delicious. It was the perfect fuel for our day and a wonderful start each morning. I’ve stayed at Hiltons before, but I have never experienced service this good. I never regretted my choice for a second. This stay reminded me exactly why trusted brands matter. Because of this experience, and especially because of staff like LukYue who go above and beyond, the Hilton will be my go on my next visit! Highly, highly recommended

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – A Perfect Stay, 100% Satisfied! We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Tianmu Lake Yuhu Peninsula Hot Spring Hotel (天目湖御湖半岛温泉酒店). From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The room was beautifully clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a breathtaking view of the lake and surrounding nature. The hot spring facilities were fantastic — relaxing, clean, and a true highlight of our stay. A very special thanks to 御湖半岛管家曾怡 (Butler Zeng Yi), who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. She was attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her professionalism and warm attitude truly made our trip memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in Liyang. We are 100% satisfied and will definitely return in the future! Thank you again to the whole team and especially to 曾怡 for making our stay perfect!

We want to highlight the work of the English-speaking assistant Angelia who supported us throughout our entire stay. Since we don’t speak Chinese, her help was absolutely invaluable—from check-in to handling any requests. She was always available, assisting with translation, recommending restaurants, and even helping with minor everyday issues. Thanks to her, our vacation was completely stress-free and incredibly comfortable. The hotel itself was also wonderful—clean, with cozy rooms and a great location—but it was the assistant’s attentiveness and professionalism that truly made our stay special. A huge thank you for such a warm welcome! Not too much westerns food at breakfast, mostly local food.

The staff were extremely pleasant and quick to offer help when needed. Our room had a private hot tub which was excellent however it wasn’t set up beforehand so we had to coordinate them coming in to do so. Easy enough but I was slightly bother by them not taking off or covering their shoes while walking around our room. The public baths were absolutely lovely, biking the lake is wonderful, overall fully recommend for a quick get away.

Food: Breakfast was varied, with western，asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

Room & Amenities: 10/10 -Bathroom Perfection: Loved having both a deep soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower, ideal for relaxing after a long day. The private toilet area added extra convenience. -Luxury Touches: Plush bathrobes and premium toiletries made it feel like a true retreat. Practical Comforts: The iron and ironing board were a lifesaver for attire/wrinkled clothes. View & Ambience: Breathtaking river views from the window—especially magical at sunrise and night. Serene and quiet, Perfect for uninterrupted sleep. Breakfast: 10/10 Huge variety of both Western and Chinese options (fresh fruits, eggs, dim sum, noodles). Highlight:The fluffy, made-to-order pancakes were divine—some of the best I’ve had! Service & Cleanliness: Spotless throughout-housekeeping deserves applause. - Staff were attentive and friendly, always quick to assist. Final Verdict This hotel is a gem, whether for business, romance, or a solo getaway. The thoughtful design, gorgeous views, and delicious breakfast make it worth every penny. I’ll absolutely return and recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Tip: Request a high-floor room for the best river views!

We love this place! The hotel rooms were exceptionally clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The staff and personal butlers- 李雪梅 were warm, professional, and always willing to help. Any additional requests we had were handled promptly and thoughtfully, making the entire stay effortless and enjoyable. The park itself is a beautifully designed destination inspired by traditional Chinese culture and the world of ancient martial arts and fantasy. The landscaping is stunning, with lush greenery and peaceful surroundings that make every corner feel picturesque. We were also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food throughout the park—there were plenty of delicious dining options to enjoy. This is a wonderful destination for families with children as well as anyone looking to experience a unique blend of nature, culture, and relaxation. We had an amazing time and would gladly recommend it to anyone planning a family getaway.

居然盲訂到錦江之星的房間！健身房、洗衣房、早餐應有盡有，服務也好，非常滿意！ 大家一定要吃早餐，麪檔、粥、西式，都有，可口。 坐在大廳等網約車的時候，我望着小雨的窗外想，也許不會再有機會住這個酒店了，但已經給我留下了美好而深刻的記憶。你永遠可以相信錦江之星。

One of the lady at the reception was a bit rude. I asked her what the shipping address is of the hotel for online shopping and she did not understand even with translator app which is not an issue at all. She thought we were trying to book a room. I guess she was unaware that we were already checked in and that we were guests because when we gave up and headed to the elevator to go to the room, she yelled at us and followed us and said something sternly. I then showed her the room card and she took it to inspect it, then returned it and said okay. It was one of the most unpleasant experiences with a hotel staff compared to all the other hotels I have stayed in, including Chinese hotels.

Booked an hourly rate room due to a flight delay. Immediately upon entering the lobby a gentleman - presumably a manager - offered me a cigarette. Even though I don’t smoke I found this to be a sweet gesture and an unmistakable token of appreciation of my business. It was also quite fitting as the facility is in an industrial area about 2 km from Benniu airport. Check-in was quick and I was immediately impressed with the room. Shiny new building constructed last year in an otherwise tired Neighbourhood. Spaciously narrow room. There were two beds, one single and one double. I’m surprised I’ve never seen this configuration before as it would benefit couples travelling with a child. TV was huge, wifi was fast and although the air con dial was confusing to turn on it pumped out beautifully cold air. Robot butler was fast. I think they offer shuttle service to and from the airport but a Didi is ~10 RMB. I was not expecting much but this place left an impression even though I only stayed for four hours. Thanks to the staff and I highly recommend it if the location meets your needs.
