My first time staying in a backpacker-style solo hotel. The location is convenient, but a 10 am checkout is a bit too early for me. The centralized air-conditioning is also too cold for me.
The room price is slightly above average, especially compared to other places I booked that offered bigger rooms with ensuite bathrooms.
The staff were very helpful. When I told them I had made the wrong booking, they assisted me, and I eventually decided to stay with my original reservation.
For the shared bathroom, I feel the cubicles should have bidet spray installed. I’m also not used to walking in and out just to use the toilet and having to lock and unlock the door each time.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing for me. Sunday was fine, but on Monday and Tuesday, it was all bread, which I couldn’t eat. It would be better if the canteen could at least offer items like eggs, vegetables, peanuts, etc.
Overall, still a good experience.

the hotel was okay. the first issue was that the walls are thin and most nights we can hear our neighbors doing their business. moreover, the breakfast schedule weren’t discussed to us properly and most of the time we missed the foods because of their incompetency discussing the time change to us.
on a positive side, it’s just a bus ride away from ximending. with a fixed fee of $15 NTD one way.

上週臨時到新北出差，住了這間「馥俐商旅二館」，整體來說是個舒適的選擇，簡單分享幾個亮點：
📍 位置與外觀
地點離捷運站大約走8分鐘，附近晚上蠻安靜的。商旅外觀不算新穎，但招牌明顯好找，大廳雖小但乾淨明亮。
✨ 最大優點：衛生細節到位
一進房就感覺得到清潔很用心！地板沒有黏膩感，浴室磁磚縫隙沒有髮絲或黴斑，馬桶和洗手台消毒味明顯，床單毛巾也都有陽光曬過的味道，這點對我這種衛生控來說大加分。
🛌 房間與設備
我住的是標準雙人房，空間不算大但格局簡潔，該有的都有：小書桌、快煮壺、小冰箱、掛衣區。電視頻道齊全，Wi-Fi速度普通，追劇夠用。裝潢是暖色系木質搭配灰牆，氣氛溫和。
🔇 隔音表現「普通」
隔音不算頂級，但也不算差。走廊有人走動或說話能隱約聽到，但關上門後聲音微弱；窗戶面對巷子，晚上安靜，但如果早上有送貨車經過會有點聲音。建議淺眠的人可以自備耳塞，一般睡眠品質應該不受影響。
🛁 浴室體驗
乾濕分離做得不錯，水壓充足穩定，熱水來得很快。備品是基本款，但沐浴乳和洗髮精香味清爽好用。排水順暢，沒有積水問題。
💁 服務與其他
櫃檯人員態度親切，入住退房快速。有自助洗衣機（需投幣），對長住客方便。無附早餐，但隔壁有超商，斜對面也有早餐店。
✅ 總結
以這個價位來說，馥俐商旅二館是個CP值不錯的選擇。尤其衛生方面令人安心，適合出差或單純過夜的旅客。如果對隔音要求極高，或許可以要求安排角落房，或自備輔助工具。整體來說，是個乾淨、方便、沒什麼大問題的住宿點。

It's right next to Fuzhong station Exit 1. There's a FamilyMart on the way to the hotel. All necessary amenities are provided, although for some reason there isn't a water dispenser. Washing machine for free on level 8. I will definitely return to Merry Day Hotel on my next visit to Taipei. Oh ya, breakfast is provided. Highly recommended.

Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time.
Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊
Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away.

⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen
Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe.
Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃.
🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden
This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy)
Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here.
If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

YYanapat W. CivilizeI had visited Jiufen, Taiwan once before, but this second trip truly exceeded expectations. The view, the atmosphere, the service, and the host’s attention to detail were all absolutely outstanding.
The scenery from the accommodation was breathtaking — truly a million-dollar view! The room itself was spacious, almost like staying in an entire house. The price per person came out to just a little over 1,100 THB, but what we received was far more valuable than what we paid.
The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering us detailed travel suggestions and making us feel as if we were staying at a friend’s home. What touched us the most was that, on the day we left, the host even rode a motorbike to personally drop us off at the bus stop.
It’s the little acts of kindness like that that make a place unforgettable.

我之前曾經去過一次台灣九份，但這次的第二趟旅程真的超出期待。無論是風景、氛圍、服務，還是房東的細心程度，通通都令人驚艷。
房間的景色美得像一幅畫，簡直是百萬級的風景！房間非常寬敞，感覺就像住在一整棟房子裡。每人換算成台幣約一千一百元左右，但實際收到的體驗與照顧遠遠超值。
房東非常親切又貼心，不但詳細介紹當地景點，還讓我們感覺像是住在朋友家一樣溫暖。最讓人感動的是，離開當天他還特地騎摩托車送我們到公車站。
正是這些微小卻真誠的舉動，讓這段旅程更加難以忘懷。

ผมเคยไป Jiufen (จิ่วเฟิ่น) ไต้หวันมาแล้วรอบหนึ่ง แต่มาทริปรอบที่สองนี้ต้องบอกเลยว่า ทั้งวิว บรรยากาศ การบริการ และความใส่ใจของเจ้าของที่พัก คือสุดยอดจริง ๆ วิวจากที่พักคือหลักล้าน! ห้องพักว้างขวางมาก รู้สึกเหมือนอยู่ในบ้านทั้งหลังเลย ราคาต่อคนเมื่อเทียบเป็นเงินไทยตกประมาณ 1,100 บาทนิด ๆ เท่านั้น แต่สิ่งที่ได้รับกลับมากกว่าราคาเยอะมาก
เจ้าของที่พักน่ารัก ใส่ใจ ช่วยแนะนำสถานที่เที่ยวอย่างละเอียด ทำให้เรารู้สึกอบอุ่นเหมือนอยู่บ้านเพื่อน และตอนวันกลับ เขายังอาสา ขี่มอเตอร์ไซค์ไปส่งเราถึงป้ายรถเมล์ด้วยตัวเอง เป็นความใส่ใจเล็ก ๆ ที่น่ารักและน่าประทับใจมากจริง ๆ

NNorthern StarsLocated near Banqiao with metro, train and bus station about 10 minutes walk away. Easy access to and fro airport and going south to Taichung and Miaoli for our side trips. Mega city, Global Mall near by and 诚品 just 1 street away. Nice swimming pool. Room is clean, spacious and bed is comfortable. Friendly and courteous housekeeping staff. Conceirge lady in attendance was very helpful in helping us locate a shop which we lost touch for quite some time. Also assist in getting careful and friendly driver to bring us to YangMingShan for a half day tour!

Reka bentuk ini sangat mudah, kerana walaupun terdapat tiga lif di tingkat penginapan, tingkatnya tinggi dan kadar penghunian tinggi, jadi masa menunggu untuk lif akan menjadi lama. Saya membaca ulasan sebelum mengatakan jarak antara TV dan katil saya tidak tahu sama ada kerana saya tinggal di bilik sisi, tetapi saya fikir ia tidak mengapa. Lantai katil cukup luas untuk orang dewasa duduk. Katil adalah ketegasan sederhana. Bersih dan selesa. TV boleh ditayangkan ke telefon mudah alih YT, yang sangat mudah! Terdapat juga manual arahan unjuran skrin pada desktop. Pencahayaan di kedua-dua belah bilik sebelah sangat terang. Ia adalah nilai yang hebat untuk bilik dalam julat harga ini. Bilik ini dilengkapi dengan empat botol air dan cerek. Ikhlas dan bertimbang rasa, nampaknya ramai pengembara akan makan mee segera di dalam bilik. 😂😂! Terdapat banyak soket di dalam bilik dan lubang pengecasan USB disediakan. Satu-satunya kelemahan ialah ia terletak di sebelah Xianmin Avenue dan sudah berada di tingkat 11. Anda masih boleh mendengar bunyi bising kenderaan pada awal pagi.
Terdapat sauna dan SPA berbayar di tingkat atas! Sauna adalah sup telanjang, dan telefon bimbit perlu disimpan di kaunter kerana sekatan masuk. Tidak banyak ruang untuk merasai pengalaman di dalam, dengan pancuran mandian di mana-mana dan rumah mandian yang besar. Tiada ketuhar atau bilik wap. Pihak hotel mengiklankan bahawa air mandian adalah mata air berkarbonat tiruan Di bilik mandi, didapati air panas itu mempunyai warna putih susu. Terdapat juga balkoni kecil di luar. Hotel itu berkata bahawa seorang penumpang telah mengintip di balkoni dan pada masa ini dilarang dibuka.
Secara keseluruhannya, pengalaman menginap di bilik tepi cukup selesa dan harganya sangat berpatutan. Kecuali bunyi bising jalanan, segala-galanya boleh dianggap di atas purata. Lokasinya selesa dan sesuai untuk penumpang memandu sendiri.

PPengguna TetamuWe had 3 nights at Harmony in a room with no window, but it did not feel claustrophobic at all. We did have trouble finding it due google maps playing up and we ended up at the sister hotel further up the hill. Thankfully, one of the owners ran up the hill and met us to take us to the correct one
Entry to the hotel is a pain when it pouring down with rain while trying to input your details for the QR code. But this was clearly detail in the listing descritption and previous reviews had mentioned this.
A huge help would be to to put a larger sign identifying the hotels location. See photo with circle around the name…. Very easy to miss.
During the stay, it was very quiet and extremely clean in possible the best location to old street. Literally 30 seconds away. Walk a little bit further and theres a 7-11 and family mart across the street.
The wifi is w10/10 so very good for digital nomads. I highly recommend harmony and would definitely stay again.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe location is super convenient—right on the airport MRT line and directly across from Sanchong Station. Around the hotel, there’s a local supermarket, Starbucks, and even a mall with lots of restaurants, so finding food is really easy.
We also got a free room upgrade, which was such a nice surprise. The bed was HUGE (felt like 240x200!) and the room itself was super spacious. Overall, super happy with the stay!

The hotel staff are accommodating and very helpful. The building is dated but well-maintained.
If I go back to Taiwan, will probably stay in this hotel again. PIt has become home in the week that I stayed there.

台台中阿源服務上接待人員很友善，晚餐沒有再那邊吃，設備上比較舊了些了，隔天的早餐有供應，但比較簡單 沒有特別可以點的，當天是吃厚片、水煮蛋、番茄，空氣還不錯
