The only slight - comment for this hotel will be distance to town and transport take longer time book.
Overall My stay in Changsha with my friend was really fun.

The chef is top notch, the balanced meals are a healthy counterpoint to all of the spicy food. If you have the option to spring for a package that includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and late night - do so! The selections change daily. The staff all exude warm hospitality and go out of their way help with every whim, rewarding travellers that value independence and flexibility.

All the amenities were well-maintained and thoughtfully provided, making the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and quality.
Overall, a fantastic experience!

Location:
We stayed for 6 nights in the Jade Room, and the location couldn’t be better. The hotel is only a short 3-minute walk from Huangxing Pedestrian Street, tucked inside a small alley off the main road. While taxis can’t drop you right at the entrance, the walk is easy and luggage-friendly. The surroundings are quiet at night but still feel very safe. There’s also a nearby corner shop that holds Taobao parcels, which is super convenient, and the reception staff will guide you if needed.
Service:
The service was genuinely outstanding and truly made the stay feel like a home away from home. Communication was clear, warm, and responsive from the beginning. We confirmed our booking via WeChat and received prompt replies along with helpful directions and a clear map.
We arrived past midnight, but the staff kept in touch and reassured us that someone would meet us on arrival. A friendly young gentleman greeted us with a big smile, brought us to our room, and followed up with the passcodes for Wi-Fi and door access (the lobby area locks after 10pm).
Most evenings, they sent a message about homemade desserts available on a first-come-first-serve basis—such a thoughtful touch. They were also extremely helpful when I needed to order food through *******, letting me use the front desk number since I didn’t have a local phone. I was also able to receive Taobao parcels at the hotel, and the staff neatly gathered them for easy pick-up. Truly attentive and heartfelt service throughout.
Cleanliness & Room:
The room had basic amenities and toiletries, which were sufficient for a comfortable stay. However, we couldn’t find a safe or mini fridge— not a deal breaker, but something to note if you’re expecting those features.
The cleaning team was polite and checked in daily to see if we needed housekeeping. Fresh towels and bottled water were consistently provided, which we appreciated. Still, the overall cleaning could have been more thorough. We noticed crumbs and hair on the floor, suggesting that sweeping or vacuuming wasn’t done completely, and there were some shoe marks left in the bathroom. Not major issues, but worth mentioning.
Overall, it was a lovely stay, and despite the minor cleanliness concerns, we would happily rebook this accommodation on our next trip to Changsha.

我们在翡翠房（Jade Room）住了 6 晚，地点真的非常棒。酒店距离黄兴步行街只有大约 3 分钟的步行路程，藏在主街旁的一条小巷里。虽然出租车不能直接把你送到酒店门口，但小巷平坦好走，拖着行李也完全没有问题。周边环境晚上很安静，但仍然非常安全。附近还有一家包裹代收的小店，可以领取淘宝包裹，非常便利，前台也会指导你如何前往。
服务（Service）：
酒店的服务真的非常贴心，让人有一种“家外之家”的感觉。沟通顺畅、友善且回应快速。我们通过微信确认了预订，酒店很快给了回复，并附上了详细的路线说明和清晰的地图。
我们是在深夜抵达的，但他们一路保持联络，告诉我们随时可以联系工作人员。到达后，一位年轻的小哥满脸笑容地迎接我们，带我们到房间，并马上发送了 Wi-Fi 和门禁的密码（酒店前台与客房通道晚上 10 点后会上锁）。
大多数晚上，他们都会发消息告诉我们当天有自制甜点，数量有限、先到先得——非常温馨的小惊喜。当我需要用**点餐时，他们也非常乐于协助，因为我没有中国手机号，他们让我直接填写前台号码作为联系号码。另外，我也收了不少淘宝包裹，前台都会帮忙整理好，让取件变得更方便。整体服务相当贴心、周到。
房间与清洁（Room & Cleanliness）：
房间提供基本的设施与盥洗用品，住起来还是舒适的。不过，我们没有找到保险箱或小冰箱——不是硬性需求，但如果你特别需要这类设备，建议提前确认。
清洁人员每天都会礼貌询问我们是否需要打扫房间，毛巾和瓶装水也都有每天补充，这点非常不错。然而，整体清洁度可以再更细致一些。我们发现地板上有一些面包屑和头发，似乎没有彻底打扫；浴室地面上也有鞋印。虽然不是严重的问题，但仍值得一提。
整体评价：
整体入住体验非常愉快，即便有些许清洁的小问题，我们仍然非常愿意在下次来长沙时再次入住这里。

PPengguna TetamuResepsionis sangat membantu! Lif hotel terus ke stesen kereta api bawah tanah, jadi tidak perlu risau tentang basah kuyup dalam hujan. Tambahan pula, ia hanya satu perhentian kereta api bawah tanah ke Dataran Wuyi, sangat mudah! Hotel itu sendiri sangat dekat dengan Jalan Chaozong, yang anda boleh terokai dengan mudah dengan berjalan kaki. Terdapat juga banyak restoran dan kedai serbaneka di tingkat bawah. Friendly staff. Consider how much i paid for the room, breakfast is very good. Wuyi square is only about 7-9 minutes. Very crowded. This hotel is highly recommended. The hotel is right on the corner of Taiping street entrance, you would see the entrance gate and the hotel is on your right side slightly behind you.

PPorscheCRIni adalah penginapan terbaik kami sepanjang percutian Tahun Baru Cina ini. Lokasi hotel sangat strategik. Kami menempah bilik twin dengan pemandangan sungai tetapi telah dinaik taraf ke bilik keluarga di tingkat tinggi, yang menawarkan pemandangan langsung ke Pulau Juzizhou dan Gunung Yuelu. Biliknya sangat luas, katilnya juga besar, dan kemudahan bilik mandi juga lengkap. Pemandangan malam juga sangat cantik. Satu-satunya kekurangan adalah tempat letak kereta hotel agak terhad. Di belakang hotel adalah Jalan Taiping, dan ia juga berdekatan dengan Jalan Pozi, Jalan Chaozong, dan Dataran Wuyi, dengan pelbagai kedai makan. Kali terakhir saya datang ke Changsha adalah lebih sepuluh tahun yang lalu. From the moment I stepped into Tyndall Hotel · Gap, I knew this place was exactly my vibe. 🖤 Sleek lines, art-inspired interiors, and that minimalist luxury look that makes every corner feel like a magazine cover.
And the best part? I somehow ended up staying on the 58th floor. 😭✨ Like, who even gets this lucky?! The skyline view was unreal. Morning sunlight, night lights, clouds floating below me, it felt like living in the sky. ☁️🌆
Now… let’s talk about the bedding. For the first time ever, I slept in a hotel without white sheets, and it was such a game changer. The sheets were silky-smooth, the duvet was extra fluffy, you can literally feel the difference in quality. 💫 It’s the kind of bed that hugs you back.
The shower system? Just a press of a button. 🚿 Everything about this hotel screams modern comfort and effortless luxury. Even the lights and curtains can be controlled from the smart panel, pure satisfaction.

YYanyongqianI got Ctrip.com service centre at Changsha Huanghua Airport to advise me how to contact Sycamore Tree Hotel to pick me up and I managed to contact Sycamore Tree Hotel Uncle Liu to pick me up at column C6. The exit is next to the Ctrip.com service centre of the airport and there are long queues of cars awaiting to pick up guests at the airport.
Sycamore Tree Hotel is an hourly-rated hotel that allows guests to stay up to seven hours a day or to the next day. It has a three-hours room stay package for guests who are transitting to another city on the same day but since Trip.com is selling the room based on per day basis, I paid less than $30 to stay until 8 pm on the same day.
To kill time, under my request, Uncle Liu chaufferred me to two plane-spotting sites around the Changsha airport for plane photography at a return fee of 150 RMB from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, including Gao'an Village Committee Building and the premises around Hunan General Aviation Building. This fee includes the driver's waiting time.
Uncle Liu has very good knowledge on plane-spotting and I recommend plane-spotters to stay in this hotel if their purpose of visiting Changsha is plane-spotting.
Uncle Liu quipped that he also can bring guests to Zhangjiajie in Hunan.
While the staff of Sycamore Tree Hotel is friendly, I would like to comment that the room allocated to me has no window, no regular-size table for me to write on paper and no chair. It takes a long time for the room to turn cool after switching on the air-conditioner. The toilet-cum-bathroom only has the small bath towel for body wiping purpose. Overall, the room is worse than the single room of Toyoko Inn. Despite the insufficiencies in the room, I recommend this hotel for staff friendliness, airport pick-up/drop-off services and local transport service.
For breakfast and other meals, there is the bun shop next door and the noodles restaurant of one minute walk away from the hotel. For recreation, there is the games machine outside the hotel.
I will stay at Sycamore Tree Hotel again if there were another opportunity of an onward flight at night from Changsha to another city airport.
