Hotel berhampiran Taman Qijiang, Zhongshan

Excellent hotel at a nice location. It is next to a shopping mall where you can find numerous eating places and almost everything else you need. There are aldo a good number of restaurants and spas and entertainment establishments across the streets on all sides. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is kept very tidy and clean. Free coffee and free laundry service at the reception level. The only thing to complaint about is its slow Internet connection. Half a star may be deducted because of this but given all the other excellent features, I still give it a 5/5 rating. In short, great value for the money!

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip, and it was an absolute highlight! First, the view from my room (I got a free suite upgrade—such a pleasant surprise!) was stunning—cityscapes and skyline visible through the large windows. The service was top - notch; staff were friendly and always ready to help. The gym was well - equipped with modern machines (I worked out both days). And the buffet, so much variety—fresh sushi, salads, hot dishes… really impressed. My room was cozy, clean, and the bathroom (with a nice tub) felt luxurious. For business travel, it’s perfect: comfortable, convenient, and great value. I’d definitely come back for work or leisure!

本次入住體驗非常不錯，特意來表揚前台璐璐。到店之後辦理入住手續高效快捷，服務熱情有禮貌，溝通温和有耐心。主動跟我講解酒店設施以及周邊出行小貼士，遇到問題諮詢也能夠細緻解答，讓人感覺十分暖心。房間打掃得乾淨整潔，環境安靜舒適，床品住着也很舒服。酒店整體服務到位，細節做得很好，性價比很高。這次住得很舒心，下次過來還會優先選擇這家，也會推薦給身邊朋友。

A clean and well-maintained hotel room can make all the difference in a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The moment you step inside, you immediately notice the fresh, inviting atmosphere—spotless floors, neatly arranged furniture, and crisp, clean linens. The absence of dust, stains, or unpleasant odors reflects the hotel’s commitment to hygiene and guest satisfaction. A good hotel room also offers thoughtful amenities like quality toiletries, a well-stocked coffee station, and reliable Wi-Fi. The bed, with its plush pillows and smooth sheets, promises a restful night’s sleep, while the bathroom shines with polished fixtures and fresh towels. Attention to detail, such as proper lighting, functional climate control, and minimal noise, enhances the overall experience. Whether traveling for business or leisure, a clean and well-appointed room ensures relaxation and peace of mind. It’s clear when a hotel prioritizes cleanliness and comfort—guests leave feeling refreshed and eager to return.

Check in is quick and effective even room was not ready at the time I arrived, the front desk quickly get me replace arrangement although required a top-up but fine and good response.  Room is okay and clean although the corridor smell a bit stuffy.   The gym is great and comfort.

We have stayed at Marriott hotels in both the U.S. and China, so we had relatively high expectations for this Le Méridien property. Overall, the hotel is fairly good and clean, but the staff training and service quality still need improvement. Pros: We stayed here for a few days and overall had a comfortable stay. The hotel is clean, housekeeping came every day, and our room was spacious. The amenities were generally good, and whenever we requested daily supplies, they were delivered to the room very quickly. Cons: 1. Deposit Policy: The Trip app and website stated that no deposit was required. However, during check-in, the front desk informed us that a USD 400 deposit was mandatory. It seems the website has not been updated, so guests should be financially prepared for this additional charge. 2. Service Quality: The front desk staff felt rather inexperienced and insufficiently trained for a Marriott property. The staff member who checked us in spoke very limited English and could not even identify the issuing bank of my card, despite the bank name being clearly printed in English on the card. This may sound picky, but we expected a higher level of professionalism from Marriott staff. Additionally, when we came downstairs to check out around 11 PM, several front desk staff members were gathered together looking at one staff member’s screen and chatting. When we approached the desk, they simply dispersed and no one asked whether we needed assistance. Compared to other Marriott hotels we have stayed at in both China and the U.S., the service quality here felt noticeably below standard. 3. Amenities: Most amenities were well maintained, but the shower water temperature was unstable and would occasionally become extremely hot, making showers unpleasant. Also, if you plan to use the spa, make sure to purchase coupons through ******* beforehand. The coupon price is around 360 RMB, while the walk-in price is about 600 RMB. Since local guests are more familiar with ******* than foreign travelers, the pricing difference may feel somewhat unfair or misleading for international visitors.

The hotel is located on the eastern side of Zhongshan, where there isn't much to do in the vicinity. The property itself is quite large but feels a bit dated. The water spa is permanently closed, with no notice or updates provided on the hotel's website, which was disappointing. The equipment in the gym also appears worn and in need of replacement. The outdoor pool is very clean. It is a perfect spot to relax. The cleaning team keeps the room tidy and clean throughout my staying. The front staff are very nice and professional. They kindly allowed me a late checkout at no additional cost, which I really appreciated. During my stay, I came across a local night market by the river. It seemed to cater mostly to locals, and the food there was absolutely delicious.

But what really set this cinema room apart was the 4K screen. The clarity and detail of the images were breathtaking, making every scene pop with vibrant colors and sharp details. Whether it was a sweeping landscape or a close-up of an actor's face, every frame was a work of art. The Zhongshan Hotel's 4K Cinema Room is not just a place to watch movies; it's an experience that transports you into the heart of the story. Whether you're a movie buff or just looking for a unique way to spend an evening, this cinema room is a must-visit for anyone staying at the Zhongshan Hotel.

Sauna, swimming pool, and other amenities are just so many. Enjoyed my stay, especially sauna. Very good service. Friendly staff. Definitely will come back.
