Location in quite area,lots of food restaurants close by, no noice of cars or other guests, metro station in 10 min walk with suitcase exit D, 3 stairs + 8 stairs, not exit A as you hve to cross road 4 lanes,breakfastbuffet,coffee nachine,meat with bones fried,boiled,scrambled eggs available, cakes too

A transit solid hotel. One metro stop from North Qingdao Station (which goes directly to the airport - hence I stayed here). Good breakfast, and many good restaurants around, as well as a large supermarket. the Service was good and helpful (although there is no english at all). Overall, I am pleased with the choice. And would stay again.

I spent a weekend here, and it was a great experience! My apartment was absolutely fantastic, offering breathtaking views from the 42nd floor. Waking up to that sea view every morning was truly a highlight of my stay. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. The facilities and services provided by the hotel are top‑notch. The hotel staff are helpful and professional. I am glad I chose this hotel for my trip! I genuinely enjoyed every moment spent there. We had such a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely perfect—having the May 4th Square Metro station right outside the front door made getting around so easy. It’s also great value for the price. Everyone on the staff was so kind, but a special shoutout goes to the housekeeping team. They were so attentive and even left us a sweet little note in our room, which was such a lovely touch! We’re already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Qingdao.

This is a must stay hotel. Everything was perfect. The rooms have all the amenities you could think of. The restaurant offers Chinese foods and Western foods. The staff are professional, polite, friendly and helpful. I will definitely book at the Movenpick hotel group in the future.

Being situated close to Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport makes it an ideal choice for transit passengers or those with early departures or late arrivals. The transfer process was straightforward, and the proximity significantly reduced travel-related stress. The Deluxe Queen Room itself was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-maintained, with clean linens, a tidy bathroom, and adequate amenities. The layout felt functional rather than overly luxurious, but it delivered exactly what one would expect from an airport hotel in this category. Sound insulation was reasonably effective; despite the airport location, noise levels were minimal and did not disrupt rest. Service throughout the stay was professional and efficient, with a level of attentiveness that stood out in the smaller details. In particular, the duty manager, Ali, made a strong impression through his proactive hospitality. As a welcome gesture, he personally brought a selection of local Shandong and Qingdao soft drinks to my room, which was a thoughtful and culturally considerate touch. This small act added a personal dimension to the stay and reflected a genuine commitment to guest experience beyond standard service expectations. Facilities appeared comprehensive, though my stay was brief and primarily focused on rest rather than exploring all offerings. The lobby and common areas were well presented, creating a calm and organised first impression. Dining options were convenient, and while not exceptional, they were satisfactory in quality and variety for a short stay. In terms of value, the hotel performs strongly. It delivers reliability, cleanliness, and comfort without unnecessary extravagance. For travelers prioritising practicality, convenience, and a good night’s sleep before or after a flight, it is a solid choice. Overall, the Grand Barony Qingdao Airport Hotel provides a balanced blend of efficiency, comfort, and accessibility. The attentive service, highlighted by small but meaningful gestures from staff such as Ali, elevates the experience and reinforces the hotel’s reputation as a high-quality and dependable airport accommodation option.

We recently stayed at this resort and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is just outside the city, about a 40-minute drive, and the drive there is beautiful. The resort was also very easy to find. Check-in was simple and smooth, and the staff were excellent throughout our stay—friendly, helpful, and quick to assist whenever needed. The room was large and clean, although it does show some signs of age. The hot springs, pool, and slides were a lot of fun and were kept clean, which we really appreciated. That said, some areas, especially the roof and floor surfaces, also show visible signs of aging and could use some maintenance. Our room did not have coffee or tea available when we arrived, but the staff provided it very quickly after we asked, which was great service. Breakfast was average, but for only a slightly higher price, it is worth including with your stay for the convenience. Overall, this is a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay, especially if you are looking for a getaway just outside the city.

It does have that old hotel smell but it didn’t take long for me to not notice it. On the other hand, if you’re sensitive to such things, then keep that in mind. The room is solid and the bed is comfortable. The real plus is the location and price. Good hotel.

It would be 10/10 for this hotel but as we were there there was a big renovation going on and it was noisy from early morning to late afternoon. They should have closed the hotel instead of selling discounted rooms - very unprofessional and unpleasant for all the guest who dated to stay

We had an apartment on the 3rd floor. There was some dirt left in the bathroom, the drain was partly clogged by hairs which you dont immediately see, because it is under a cover. Inside the apartment there are stairs leading to a second level but upstairs there is nothing except for an additional bed and no windows. Its a little unhandy that you need to go to the 9th floor of the neighbouring building to check in. The view from the main apartment is pretty nice, one can see the sea from the bed! Location is also nice, close to the seafront.
