It's amazing that the rooms provided at such a price are quite large, yet practical. Our family of five arrived late (past one o’clock in the morning) by plane. Thanks to the front desk guy who took us from the parking lot to the hotel. Otherwise, with kids, 4 luggages, raining heavily, midnight, one could imagine how disastrous would be without the help from the hotel front desk! The breakfast is also very rich, and the service is also very good. I’m not sure if this is due to the friendly personality of Qingdao people or just Atour staff, people I met when I touched down from Qingdao airport to convenient storekeeper to driver, I found that people here are very easy-going. For this reason, I am looking forward to this trip at Qingdao. 😊

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in Qingdao City and we are so thrilled with our experience that we felt compelled to share. This hotel truly stands out for all the right reasons and provided us with a comfortable, convenient, and genuinely enjoyable getaway. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the spotless cleanliness throughout the entire property. The lobby was bright and inviting, the hallways were pristine, and our room was immaculate. It’s clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work, and it made our stay feel both safe and luxurious. The staff deserves a special mention. Every team member we encountered, from the front desk to the dining area, was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. They greeted us with genuine smiles, were always ready with a local recommendation, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Their positive attitude really set the tone for our entire trip. Now, let’s talk about the breakfast – it was excellent! We’ve stayed at many hotels where the complimentary breakfast is a bit of an afterthought, but not here. There was a fantastic variety of selections to choose from. We enjoyed hot items like waffles and scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, pastries, and healthy yogurts. The coffee was always fresh and piping hot, and there was a great selection of teas and chilled juices to start our day right. It’s a real game-changer to begin a day of exploring with such a satisfying and delicious meal. What truly sealed the deal for us was the incredible value. The price was very reasonable, especially when compared to other hotels in a similar category that we've stayed at in Qingdao. You get so much more for your money here—the excellent breakfast, the modern, clean rooms, and the wonderful service make it a standout choice. The location was another huge plus for us. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro, making it incredibly easy to get around the city without a car. Furthermore, the surrounding area is vibrant and full of life! We loved being able to step outside and find great restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. It felt like we were in the heart of the action. Finally, as non-smokers, we greatly appreciated that the entire hotel, including all rooms, was completely smoke-free. It made the environment so much more pleasant. In summary, our stay at the Hampton by Hilton in Qingdao was practically perfect. It offers incredible value, combining cleanliness, exceptional service, a delicious breakfast, and a prime location. This is a must stay hotel. Everything was perfect. The rooms have all the amenities you could think of. The restaurant offers Chinese foods and Western foods. The staff are professional, polite, friendly and helpful. I will definitely book at the Movenpick hotel group in the future.

I spent a weekend here, and it was a great experience! My apartment was absolutely fantastic, offering breathtaking views from the 42nd floor. Waking up to that sea view every morning was truly a highlight of my stay. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. The facilities and services provided by the hotel are top‑notch. The hotel staff are helpful and professional. I am glad I chose this hotel for my trip! I genuinely enjoyed every moment spent there. Hotel service was excellent, from reception to housekeeping. The deluxe room was slightly bigger than a standard room and it made a big difference in comfort. We appreciated the eye mask and extra water as we were staying four nights. The guest before us must have spilt some food on the desk - there was chilli oil on some of the desk items that housekeeping may have missed. Breakfast was just ok - most of the food was lukewarm, not as hot as I hoped. But overall a great stay, thank you.

Grand Barony Qingdao Airport has an incredibly convenient location with an indoor connecting corridor leading straight to the airport terminal, so we can walk over easily. The hotel also provides shuttle service for guests carrying lots of luggage; simply tell the staff ahead, and they will make proper arrangements. Dining options inside the hotel are limited, but we could easily take Didi to taste delicious local food nearby. Every staff member is polite, warm and ready to offer helpful support. It’s an ideal pick for airport stays.

We recently stayed at this resort and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is just outside the city, about a 40-minute drive, and the drive there is beautiful. The resort was also very easy to find. Check-in was simple and smooth, and the staff were excellent throughout our stay—friendly, helpful, and quick to assist whenever needed. The room was large and clean, although it does show some signs of age. The hot springs, pool, and slides were a lot of fun and were kept clean, which we really appreciated. That said, some areas, especially the roof and floor surfaces, also show visible signs of aging and could use some maintenance. Our room did not have coffee or tea available when we arrived, but the staff provided it very quickly after we asked, which was great service. Breakfast was average, but for only a slightly higher price, it is worth including with your stay for the convenience. Overall, this is a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay, especially if you are looking for a getaway just outside the city.

It does have that old hotel smell but it didn’t take long for me to not notice it. On the other hand, if you’re sensitive to such things, then keep that in mind. The room is solid and the bed is comfortable. The real plus is the location and price. Good hotel.

We originally only booked for two nights. Feeling very comfortable staying, we extended our stay for one more day. Especially Amy Li Tong at the front desk was very considerate and took good care of us, making the entire journey more comfortable and pleasant.
