"I stayed at Hotel bellman during my trip and had a great experience overall. The staff were really friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. The food was simple but fresh and tasty. The only downside was a bit of street noise at night, but it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Friendly staff along with a varied breakfast choice. Great location close the U2 metro station, which will take you from one side of Berlin to the other. Excellent restaurants very close for some tasty meals if you’re tried and need something convenient. I recommend Weingrun and Bellisima."

"First, when I checked in, the receptionist didn't welcome us, he asked for the reservation and gave me the room key that was all. The iron place isn't suitable at all in the corridor near the elevator if it is in a room for it or they send it to your room as in other hotels will be more decent. Hot water is not always found in the shower. These things I didn't like and the rest was good. Overall rating: 3 stars worth no more"

"Slight confusion upon arrival regarding booking confirmation. However that was swiftly dealt with. Room was clean, quiet and warm despite freezing temperatures outside. Nice location, easy transportation to airport and sights. Plenty of kebab shops in the local area with useful supermarkets."

"Очень достойный отель за свою цену. У меня был отдельный номер на 5 этаже, справа и слева не было других номеров, так что ночью было прекрасно тихо :) когда кто-то проходил по коридору- было слышно, стены не очень толстые. Горячая вода была всегда, напор отличный. Вай-фай ловил прекрасно. В номере было довольно прохладно, одна из батарей не работала, я выкрутила на максимум остальные батареи - стало теплее. Гель для душа и мыло хорошие. То, чего мне не хватало - чайник в номере. Но на ресепшен можно просить налить горячей воды. Через дорогу большой продуктовый магазин REWE. Также в 3-5 мин ходьбы 2 разные станции метро. Пешком можно дойти до основных достопримечательностей (20-40 мин). Однозначно рекомендую этот отель."

The room was spacious and clean. A nice big shower and some free water was very nice.
The only minus was no air-conditioning. The room felt very warm on the 6th floor even though it was not that warm outside in May. The window could be opened but because the room was on the front the traffic was very loud in the night.
Had a lovely stay and would recommend to stay here. Maybe not in the warm months in Summer.

RRPSMWe recently stayed at The Circus Hotel in Berlin, taking two rooms for a short family trip. The experience was, in many respects, excellent. The location is ideal—central, with easy access to public transport and within walking distance of a huge variety of restaurants and shops.
Service throughout was truly commendable. Staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful at every turn. The hotel bar is a genuine highlight—stylish, welcoming, and well-stocked. We especially appreciated the honesty bar and terrace upstairs, which made for a beautiful, relaxed afternoon during our stay.
Breakfast was another strong point, offering a good variety of quality options in a comfortable setting. The rooms themselves are well-sized, clean, and nicely appointed.
However, there’s a major issue that any traveller should be aware of: there is no real air conditioning. What’s provided is what I would describe as a comfort cooling system—more symbolic than functional. During our stay, temperatures hovered around 25 °C during the day and 18 °C at night, yet the rooms remained unpleasantly warm. Both rooms had fans, and the windows had to be opened to let in any real cool air. It’s quite clear that the hotel expects guests to rely on the fans, which is not acceptable given the climate realities of Berlin summers.
This significantly affected our comfort and sleep. For travel between late May and early October, I would strongly caution against booking unless you’re completely indifferent to room temperature.
It’s unfortunate, because in almost every other respect, The Circus Hotel is a real gem. I genuinely wanted to love it, and in cooler months, I very likely would. But the absence of proper climate control is a deal-breaker in warmer weather, and it’s clear the hotel is aware of the issue—hence the fans in every room.
Pros:

• Fantastic bar and terrace
• Generous room size
Cons:
• No air conditioning—only a weak cooling system and fans
• Rooms become uncomfortably warm even in moderate summer temperatures
Conclusion:
A brilliant hotel during cooler seasons. But for summer stays, particularly with children or light sleepers, the lack of proper climate control unfortunately outweighs the many positives.

OOlga HladkikhWe stayed at NH Collection Berlin Mitte for two nights over the weekend. Overall, it’s a great value for a short trip. The location is excellent and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed (comfortable bed, great bathroom, TV).
The best part was the sauna included in the price — perfect after cold winter walks, and it’s open until 10 pm.
Two small downsides: we felt a slight draft from the balcony window (winter stay), and there was a faint “old” smell in the room. Not a big issue, but worth mentioning. We didn’t try breakfast, so can’t comment on food.

FFVR - SPAINI recently stayed at this hotel , and I have to say my experience was a real mix of good and bad. I'll break it down clearly so other travelers know what to expect.
Check-in experience
I arrived at the hotel AT 21 PM, which was supposed to be the standard check-in time. To my surprise, there was absolutely nobody at the reception desk. I stood there waiting, thinking someone would appear in a minute.. After a while staff member finally came out from a back office. They looked a bit stressed or overwhelmed.The check-in process itself was rushed and cold.
Coffee in the room – horrible
Another big downside was the in-room coffee. The hotel provides instant powdered coffee – the cheap, soluble type that comes in a small sachet. I made a cup hoping for a decent morning coffee, but it was truly horrible. The taste was artificial, bitter, and had absolutely no real coffee flavour. It honestly tasted like chemicals. In my opinion, a hotel charging these rates should definitely offer capsule coffee (like Nespresso or a compatible system). Powdered coffee is outdated, low-quality, and leaves a terrible impression on guests who appreciate a good cup of coffee to start the day. This is a small detail that makes a big difference. I ended up going out to a nearby café to buy real coffee.
THE POSITIVE POINTS
Cleanliness – excellent
On the positive side, I have to say that the cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The bed sheets were crisp, white, and spotless. The bathroom was perfectly clean – no hair, no dust, no stains. The floors were well swept and mopped. It's clear that the housekeeping staff takes their job seriously and does an excellent job. I felt very comfortable in terms of hygiene and tidiness.
The room itself – fine
The room was fine. It wasn't luxurious or particularly stylish, but it was perfectly acceptable for a short stay. The bed was comfortable enough, the TV worked well, the Wi-Fi connection was stable, and the air conditioning functioned properly. There was enough space to move around and store my luggage. So for a basic, no-frills stay, the room met expectations.

We tried ordering room service but we didn’t have a way to do it and when we called reception they basically told us to just look in the room for the menu. We only had a breakfast one. Other than that, everything else was awesome.
