This hotel has for sure the nicest view in Mainz, and only a few minutes from the city center. Just be aware that the rooms with view to the Rhein-river obviously have different categories, hence prices, to avoid being disappointed.

Wir sind so sehr begeistert und ärgern uns, nur eine Nacht zu genießen. Bei den nächsten Besuchen von Mainz NUR das H2 hotel. Die Lage bestens, die Sauberkeit, Service, Ausstattung...alles war wirklich ausgesprochen toll. Gemütlich am Rhein entlang gelaufen ist man in 10-15 min. in Mainz und Altstadt. Bei Sonnenschein gibt es nichts schöneres als am Rhein entlang zu laufen und zu sitzen. Wer mit Bus in stadt fährt...Bushaltestelle direkt am hotel...besser geht es nicht. In 5 Stationen ist man in stadt....Also das hotel ist für uns das beste, was wir in Mainz bisher erlebt hatten.danke

5-10 mins walk from train station. Great location. Walkable to city center too. Rooms were clean and all good. Staff were mainly friendly and helpful. Was a great start to our trip.

Tolles Hotel, sehr nettes Personal. Alles sauber und fast direkt am Main.

Je ne suis jamais déçue avec les hôtels Ibis. Celui-ci est proche de la vieille ville et propose un parking sous terrain très pratique pour garer la voiture. Le personnel est sympathique arrangeant.

The hotel is a bit of old but well maintained. It’s not in the city center but has a few restaurants around. It’s in a quiet neighborhood. However, the refrigerator did make a lot of noise in my room. Other than that, everything is good.

The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, with good services including breakfast and complimentary snacks. Staff were extremely helpful and polite, and a member of staff was on hand at reception to check me in even though I arrived late in the evening. My room was huge and amazing value, and was set up for me beautifully. The location, while not central in Mainz, was reasonably well-connected to the city centre via public transport -- the bus stop was a ten-minute walk downhill from the hotel through very pretty neighbourhoods with regional charm.
