Where do I begin? Travelling with a toddler is no easy task, and the team at Taj Connemara made it worthwhile, smooth, and exciting. It all began with Ms Jasmine who religiously followed up with all our requests and requirements for childproofing the Heritage Room we stayed. From additional mineral water bottles, bumpers on furniture, soft toys for bath, and an excellent baby cot, Ms Jasmine coordinated with her ground team and got everything ready before we checked in. The icing on the cake was the remarkable welcome gift for our daughter consisting of excellent baby skincare products from an established brand.  The stay itself was fantastic with a cosy room, abundance of toiletries, and exceptional breakfast. Shoutout to Mr Baskaran for attending to all our breakfast requests for our daughter. The baby dosa was a hit!  Located in a prime spot in Chennai next to Spencer Plaza and the newer EA Mall, Taj Connemara is strategic. Travel to major shopping centres and traditional clothing stores was made easy.  Last but not least, the hospitality and polite service offered by the staff of Taj Connemara was nothing short of amazing. The hotel is good, and the service was very nice. There was a wide spread of options in the buffet. The initial room we were given had a damp smell, but as soon as I reported it, the staff promptly swapped it for a better one. Overall, it was a good experience.

Returning to this location after eight years, I was hoping for the same 5star experience I once enjoyed. Unfortunately, it’s not quite what it used to be, and the property is beginning to show its age. On a positive note, the staff were warm and courteous throughout—from the reception to the restaurant team. Their professionalism and friendliness was a highlight of the stay. The restaurant manager Nazim was helpful. However, the room was disappointing. Upon entering, there was a strong musty odor. When I mentioned this to the front desk, I was told all the rooms have this smell and that it would dissipate in about 10 minutes—but unfortunately, it lingered. It seems guests may simply become accustomed to it over time. Not me.. lol. The Colony restaurant offered a decent breakfast, though dinner not that much. It felt overcrowded and cramped, and the buffet menu was not the greatest, with food quality was just average. The key strengths of this location remain its convenient setting, friendly staff, and ample parking. With some updates and improvements, it could once again live up to its former reputation.

We loved our stay here! Cleanliness to service was brilliant. Coming from Singapore, we were little worried about the hotel and cleanliness but with no doubt it was superb. Infact we don't have a complaint. We had hotel breakfast, dinner buffet, dinner ala carte at the ground level restaurant (part of the hotel) food was good, ambience is beautiful and I must say Navaneeth and ashiq were such warm and friendly boys, serving with smiles, checking on us and even other customers esp elderly folks. That is one of the best service etiquettes we have seen. Their communication skills with a little humour was a hats off! Definitely coming back and definitely recommending family and friends. Totally no regrets. Thank you residency towers team. Keep up the good work and spirit!

Its such very peaceful place and great environment, the sus chef mr anand was very helpful and kind to us , the Manager ajith  also helped us alot , such a great team . Opinion-  1.please change the bunk bed otherwise everything was good . 2. The payment method please give us cash option cause we foreigner can’t use g-pay (*we forget our card )but the manager helped us to settle the issue  Thank you Marriot Team 🙌🏻💯

Good Hotel, upon our check in, the night manager Pradeep was very helpful. I think he also use to live in Singapore. Very friendly and helpful gentleman. Best breakfast buffet I have ever had. Definitely coming back, so that I can eat that buffet again.  Congratulations to the team for such great selection and quality. All the best

I would definitely return here. Overall, very good value for money.   The breakfast daily and the staff were truly exceptional.  The room was good, everything worked and in-room dining that is 24/7, was excellent.  We arrived at 2am and the food, at that time, for famished travellers was truly appreciated. Thank you Holiday Inn.  You have excellent staff and hope you are valuing them.  Staff farewelled us on our last day!!   I did not give five stars for cleanliness as the toilet seats could/ should be cleaned better.

Hotel is fine. What you can expect from an Ibis hotel including great buffets at the restaurant. But the city of Chennai is building an extension of their metro so the city is not very enjoyable for a few years

good services and location. silent atmosphere good food and variety of breakfast. the only problem was that in online booking it is shown smoking is allowed where in it is a non smoking property. should change it becomes difficult for smokers

My recent stay at Novotel was truly delightful. The property is beautiful, well-kept, and offers every comfort a guest could ask for. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well-organized. I’d like to give special appreciation to Miss Kulvir Kaur for her remarkable hospitality. She was incredibly courteous, attentive, and ensured that all my needs were taken care of with a smile. Her professionalism and genuine warmth made me feel valued and truly enhanced my overall experience. It’s people like Miss Kulvir who make a hotel stay feel more personal and memorable. I sincerely thank her and the entire Novotel team for their excellent service. Looking forward to returning soon!
