PPengguna TetamuThe location is perfect for me as I need to catch the early train for sightseeing and leisure. Lots of shops and restaurants around here that makes it easy for food and drink. The toiletries are great with lots of variety for men and women. You just need to pick what you need. The room is packed and comfortable with great blankets. The bathroom is also very nice and clean. I don’t have a good sleep due to the pillow is too high and too rigid.

Ll3unnyThe staff I came came across were all very polite and had welcoming smiles, no matter at the reception desk or the restaurant on 20/F. I enjoyed my stay here, but it felt comparable to the 3 star hotels, just slightly better especially thanks to the fabulous breakfast and location of breakfast…If hotels have half stars, i would think it’s’more of a 3.5 star hotel instead of a 4. I have a few suggestions which the hotel can look into to improve in the future.
3 Things to improve on:
1) I picked this hotel because I read other reviews saying the hotel is connected to a bridge from the Okayama station. This is true but unfortunately there were no signs in the station to guide travellers unlike another hotel like Granvia. Google suggested that I look for the west exit which I did, but I ended up being at the ground level hence had to bring big suitcase all the stairs…then I spotted the bridge and ANA crowne plaza from the street
2) cleanliness can be improved. There’s a UCC drip coffee machine in the room. I don’t drink coffee, and the box for the drip coffee selection was refilled. However I spotted a used capsule on the floor near the wall. The bin was not blocking the view, so the cleaners could’ve easily spotted the rubbish if they had been a little more careful and looked under the table when they have to clear out the rubbish bin anyway.
3) I sent a message to the hotel via TRIP.com. The message wasn’t replied promptly, as in within a few hours. Ultimately it didn’t matter anymore, I arrived at the hotel before somebody managed to reply me. Maybe it’s the system that’s problematic which may have caused a lag? Or staff only look at mails/messages when not too busy at the front desk?

PPengguna TetamuExcellent hotel, especially for travelers arriving by train — the location directly connected to Okayama Station makes everything extremely convenient.
Rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was professional, polite, and efficient.
Breakfast was impressive with a wide selection and high quality products.
A perfect base for exploring Okayama and the surrounding area. Would definitely stay again.

I struggled to get sleep past 9am even though I was jet-lagged, also it was so loud I was nervous the people would be coming in through my balcony door! Good location, would stay again if it weren’t for the construction on the hotel

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed there 2 nights and taking the advantage of travelling in town as well as some nearby scenic areas. It's very convenience as it is very near to the train station. The Room we stayed appeared too small with our selected double bed was a small one while the spaces within the room were very limited and not convenient for moving around. The breakfast is good with reasonable price.

Bbelle4167A little walk from Okayama station but near AEON mall. There's no English Name of the hotel on site and just go with google map. Check in was fast, starts at exactly 4PM. Breakfast and Dinner are free🫰Room is big for Japanese standard. Stayed for 2 nights as a base for my Kurashiki and Takamatsu itinerary.

CChrisTYHA wide selection of free amenities at the reception. There is a lounge for female dot relax after onsen. The public bath cones with hair styling tools, which is a bonus.

SSassaengSmall room with less facility. I open a door and it is a bed with no space to put your belonging if your bag is large.
I love to walk to Aeon mall from this place 10 min and enjoy duscount food there.
