Wonderful room. Spacious by Japanese standards, and everything was spotless; you can see the pride taken by the staff in ensuring that the property is well-maintained and kept clean and tidy. Free parking spaces are located just at the hotel's doorstep, but limited spots are available. Having access to a the free washer and dryer was wonderful, although do be mindful that the drying time is minimally 1.5 hours, and thicker clothes might still be slightly damp. However, we hung them up to air-dry in our room overnight without any issues. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Highly recommended hotel in this beautiful area.

Villa louisa is a cute, quiet cottage surrounded by nature. There are almost like 2 homes, upstairs is 1 bedroom, toilet, shower, kitchen and dining area. Downstairs is also a master bedroom, kitchen, lounge and bathroom. In the basement is the washer. Perfect house for 2 families, everyone had their own space. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook or enjoy take out. Furano town and shops were a short drive away as was Farm Tomita. Highly recommend it.

A small and simple place to stay, you can see that the place is a bit aged but its clean and tidy. The room is small but one thingn want to highlight, the breakfast was incredible! very nice breakfast :)

Perfect location for skiers - a two minute walk across the carpark and you're at the gondola/chairlift base station. The hotel also has a bus stop outside which is helpful to get to the JR station or into town, although buses are pretty infrequent. There are some dining options nearby, and a convenience store about 10-15 min walk away. The hotel sells discounted lift tickets (which you need to exchange at the ticket booth for a real ticket). The hotel has an eclectic older style charm. The ”owl” branding throughout was cute, and there's a nice lounge where non-skiers can relax with lots of reading material (most in Japanese). Free snacks and drinks each afternoon in the lobby are a nice touch. The onsite indoor and outdoor onsens are relaxing. There's a laundry with coin operated washer dryers, which is handy. Breakfasts were decent, although some dishes were a bit sweet for our taste, and there was very little variation from day to day, which is an issue for a ski resort where guests typically stay for multiple days. Staff allocate you to a table (different each day), a system which works pretty well and avoids having to hunt for a table at busy times. Some procedures seem a bit overcomplicated - checkin involved our name being taken, then being called 10 min later and guided through a self-checkin touchscreen system which wasn't super reliable at reading passports. Also you need to specify your breakfast time each day and then come back and get a ticket later, which seems overcomplicated - better to just let you specify a default time on checkin with the option to vary manually if desired. However staff throughout the hotel are polite and helpful. The room we had was spacious with a view over the ski field. The bathroom was a modular unit - clean but a bit dated and with an awkward step up to get in. Beds were made up in a rather strange way - rather than a having a fitted bottom sheet, there was a thin mat laid on top of the mattress. If you move around at all while sleeping this mat ends up a lumpy mess and you often find yourself sleeping partially on the bare mattress.

Very good ski and out hotel. Slope is just right beside and rental and equipment lockers are just in the basement of the hotel. Room is spacious. But do note that in winter, only centralise heater for the room, no aircon. Room was too hot, even after opening the window, had to request a fan. Onsen bath is good. Food choices are a little limited if your hotel package doesn't include breakfast and dinner, its cost quite abit. There isn't any nearby restaurants to eat. Nearest supermarket and town area is a 10mins bus ride but the limited time slot bus. [I went in April, its spring season so they cut down alot of bus timing.] At the lobby, theres a shop like a combination of mini mart and souvenirs shop. There's many things to look at in there.

The staffs there are super nice, they will try their best to support you when you need to make a reservation at a restaurant. They will also recommend what is the popular cuisine nearby. The food at the hotel is also decent if you want to dine in. The choice is limited but quality is good.

my first time staying at a hostel and i am quite impressed. it is apparently quite new at the moment. it is clean in general. i booked a female only dormitory room for 4 nights and was lucky that i had the whole room for the first 3 nights. t Owner is helpful and responds fast when i message them over trip.com. Worth the value to stay for those travel alone for ski/snowboard. Location is so convenient to the North Gondola.

Fenix Furano was a quaint little hotel with little frills, but it suited us fine... we understood the green policy behind minimising housekeeping, and we are totally fine with in. One downside is that they didn't have non-slip mats for the bathtub when you used it to shower. The body soap was very soapy and with the tub surface; making it a potential safety concern... and indeed, my elderly mum-in-law fell and hit her head.. she had a bump and some bleeding. We hope that the management looks into this for the safety of all guests. Apart from this, we enjoyed the tranquillity of the vacinity and drove out to wherever we wanted from there. We would recommend this place if you have a rental car.

富良野観光で利用しました。ホテルは小高い場所にあり、周囲の景色がとても良く、落ち着いた雰囲気の中でゆっくり過ごすことができました。露天風呂と大浴場で旅の疲れを癒せたのも良かったです。 客室は清潔に保たれており、快適に滞在できました。スタッフの皆さんも親切で、気持ちよく利用することができました。富良野観光やスキー場へのアクセスも良く、観光の拠点として便利なホテルだと感じました。 また富良野を訪れる機会があれば、ぜひ利用したいと思います。

A bit far from Furano city. However good view as location at highland. Enjoyable and beautiful view during onsen. Great dinner and breakfast. Clean and good service.
