PPengguna TetamuWe are a group of family with a young child (8yo.). Appreciate your warm welcome to us. Though we cannot speak Japanese, i think there was no big communication issue - with a Google translator. This ryokan provided all that I have imagined about Ryokan experience in Japan. I personally feel that this place is very very authentic, comparing to several ryokans that i have been to. The food is spectacular as everyone state. i was amazed more by the traditional hospitality!! 한국인 후기가 없는 것 같아 적어둠 : 엄청난 환대를 느꼈습니다. 아오모리에 가는 분들은 방문 후보로 고려하세요. 해산물을 좋아하는 이들에게는 정말 천국. 고양이가 좋다면 플러스. 노천탕은 없지만 작은 탕에 사람이 없으면 프라이빗한 느낌이라 이것도 좋았습니다.

JJ. SimonLess than 5 mins walk to and from JR Shin-Aomori Station (East exit) which also houses the Aomori Tourist Information Centre.
I chose to stay near this JR Shin-Aomori station instead of JR Aomori station as the shinkansen doesn’t go to JR Aomori station. I need to take the shinkansen early in the morning on the following day to go to Akita and then transfer to the Akita shinkansen to head to my next accommodation in Tazawako.
From JR Shin-Aomori station, it’s convenient to take limited express trains direct to Hirosaki station to visit Hirosaki Castle and Park. It’s also a short journey to JR Aomori station which is where the city centre of Aomori is located.
Other than the F&B shops within Shin-Aomori station which close very early around 8pm if I recall correctly, there aren’t any F&B shops around the hotel.
Both Family Mart and Lawsons convenience stores are located a few mins walk from the South exit of the train station which is located on the other end of the station.

ペペヤングチエックイン時にスタッフの方がとても丁寧に説明していただきお客様を大事にしている事が伝わりました。部屋も清潔で一番良かったのは９階にある大浴場でした。朝はユノ島が見えて最高でした。サウナがあればもっと良かったかな。ただホテルの外は外食するところがあまりなく要注意です。斜め左にはクラフトビールがありおすすめですが、ビールとおつまみしかありません（でも美味しかった）。コンビニも徒歩10分のところにあります。

PPengguna TetamuThe overall experience was positive. The breakfast was adequate and good and eventho was until 9am, they allow you to eat breakfast past the time. The checkout time was a tad early at 10am. There are 2 nice restaurants next to hotel and Lawson convenience store nearby and a shopping place too. The best part is we could park our car for free right in front of the hotel. Its located not far from Aomori airport and you could rent a car at the airport, which is right out the gate of the airport. U can book thru Trip for your rental car.
The room itself was comfortable. Bed was good, but there was a bad smoking smell all round the room. Luckily there was a filter machine in the room. Room was a bit dark and space was not much to put luggage but adequate. There is a bath tub that i could bath in which was good. They also provide free bathhouse service for guest.
The only thing that could be improved is to provide free drinking water to the guest. There is no hot water and no free drinking water. You have to buy from vending machine downstairs.

JJeffThis family alike hot spring hotel is really nice.
When we first arrived at the hotel, their staff was already waiting outside in cold weather, he passionately direct us for parking and also help alight our luggages. He also have a big smile on his face which made us feel very welcome. Their staff are also very friendly and helpful too. Their hot spring is really cosy and the outdoor one is really comfortable. There are also a lot of tourist spots can be visited too.
Our room is very big and comfortable. Their staff will help set up the bed for us when we head for the dinner. Their dinner and breakfast were very tasty and fresh, feels like living in a real Japanese family.

KKittyLMWI traveled with my 2 kids, we booked a room with 3 beds, spacious for us, location is very near to station. They provided amenities like toothbrush, face wash, coffee, tea, coin laundry, Lawson on the 1st Floor, reception on the second floor.

PPengguna Tetamu핫코다산 중턱에 한적하고 조용한 호텔이었습니다. 시설도 훌륭하고
특히 저녁 식사 프랑스 코스 요리가 아주 훌륭했어요.
온천도 시설이 잘 되어 있어서 아주 기분 좋은 힐링 여행이었습니다.
다음에 가족과 함께 다시 가겠습니다.

^^Ki@Check in front desk service is polite and in patient. Room is clean and really big compared to hotel in Tokyo. It provide body clean facilities in bathroom and toilet. Also, we can enjoy tea and coffee in lobby. But one of bad thing is the hotel is far away from JR station, it hold a 20min walk, bit far away and carry a bulky luggage.

JJeffThis hot spring hotel is located on the top of a mountain. And it takes around an hour of driving up the hill in order to get to the hotel, but the view is completely worth it, the stars at night was so beautiful. The hot spring outdoor was comfy as well. However, the hotel didn’t have elevator, so maybe it’s best that you pack a smaller luggage. The dinner was verrrryyyyyy good and fresh, and the Aomori Apple beer that they had was sooooo goood. The buffet style breakfast offer different kinds of food too from English to Japanese. One thing that we are not a fan of was the blue indoor wear that they offer, as it didn’t look good and look like a massage therapist. Haha
