Hotel berhampiran Stesen Kase, Minamiaso

Our recent stay at a charming guesthouse felt like stepping into the pages of a fairytale. The entire house exuded simplicity and warmth, reminiscent of a storybook setting. The gracious host welcomed us with genuine enthusiasm, even though our grasp of Japanese was limited. Despite the language barrier, we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the sumptuous dinner. We were almost too full to continue after indulging in the feast. The homemade hamburger steak, lovingly prepared by the host, was exceptionally delicious. If you’re seeking a heartwarming experience in Aso, I highly recommend giving this guesthouse a try.

The service was amazing, and the whole place was very clean. The public bath house just renovated and it is very spacious. The dinner and breakfast was amazing as the sashimi was fresh. I will return to here when I travel to Aso again.

A serene & quite place to relax. An ideal hot spring ryokan to stay after our 3 days city trips in Fukuoka town. The private hot spring pool is fantastic! The dinner offered is in a fine dining style, we enjoyed it so much.

建築雖然老舊但整體都很乾淨整潔，功能也都維持的很好，早餐豐盛，還有小驚喜，處處都感覺得到員工的用心。夜間觀星行程分為三部分，有星象的解說，像是在3D電影院一樣，很立體又放鬆、有天文望遠鏡實際觀看星星、還有像是露營一樣躺在大草原賞月賞星星的體驗，整體感覺很豐富也很感動，值得在這裏住一晚，一定要挑好天氣時前來。

An older motel with comfortable Japanese style rooms and a large retro public bath. Perhaps because it’s the shoulder season, but it did not feel fully operational.

Room was comfortable and hotel had nice common spaces. Sink design a little bit tight. I chose a room with a mountain view but it was severely limited. As I was only staying one night, I didn't bother too much about it. You literally drive through a forest to get to the place. Just follow the kanji signs of in doubt.

The price and service is good but the food quality and variety is average.  Although the bath onsen is for public use, many tenants use it as private and lock it for own use.  It should either be kept open or use a booking system.

A wonderful place to stay in the lovely town of Minamiaso. Dinner and breakfast were delicious with local produce presented in a home cooked meal. Owner is the best !

The lodge is close to the mount aso with a handful of cozy rooms. The host is kind and friendly. They serve well curated dinner and breakfast in japanese western style. It has been a nice stay.

Onsen and sauna were incredible - but the location from the carpark to the check-in counter was super inconvenient for travellers with big luggage. Other than that, the bus services are very regular, the buffet was tasty and the room was cosy. Really love the Hobitton feels of this place.
