Hotel berhampiran Kuil Kimii-dera, Wakayama

I am very pleased with my stay in this hotel! The hotel is easy to find with driving, and I could park in the parking garage across at 1000 yen per day. The check in was fast and front desk staff speaks so English and very helpful. The hotel location is excellent and is right across from the Wakayama castle. The hotel is very new, and the beddings and furnitures all in excellent condition. There’s 10% discount for all the restaurants inside the building which I enjoyed and it was nice to have a walk in the castle park in evening time as it is a very safe neighborhood. Only area to improve is the lack of amenities provided at 3rd floor reception. Overall I recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our Japan trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a beautiful atmosphere and excellent facilities. Staff members were polite, helpful, and always smiling, making us feel very welcome from check in until departure. The location was convenient, close to restaurants, attractions, and public transport. Breakfast was delicious with many choices, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. Everything was smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely return again in the future someday soon.

Good hotel, well located beside Wakayama Station. About a 10 min bus journey or 30 min walk to the Wakayama Castle and 45 min bus to the Kuroshio Marina. Really comfortable room with comfy bed, a desk / chair, and clean bathroom. It’s compact (like most hotels in Japan) but has plenty of space for luggage etc. Breakfast was decent, good eggs. It runs until 09:30AM but the popular food is gone by about 09:00AM so recommend to eat early! Laundry room cheap to use. The staff were really lovely. A comfortable stay, would recommend!

Very nice hotel with the onsen and free ramen at night. If you have a car with you and you plan not to drive somewhere during your stay, I recommend you to park at the parking lot around the hotel as it is cheaper and convenient as well.

The room is huge which is out of our expectation, lots of spaces for luggage, the room got everything you need which camee to our surprise, like cables with various plug, different texture if rubber band, all sort of facial care, and different flavours of body shower, shampp and conditioner etc. theres even a supply station at the lobby if you still find not enough; as well as a drinks machine, which u can get coffee, matcha, chocolate and so on, it really made our day. The hotel is around 15 mins walk from JR station, there is convenient shop nearby, it wont be a big problem if you drive, theres a free parking at the hotel as well.

Location 8/10: close to the JR station where the buses are as well. close to a convenient store where you can buy all your necessities. for those who wants to take a taxi, there's one station nearby. Restaurants are a little too far, the closest sento is a little too far. Staff 8/10: mostly self services, teas and water and other stuff near the check in counter. they have staff to clean your beds for your, if you wish (open or close the door to your bed in the morning). facilities 5/5: Shower, sinks, and toilets are very clean. They provide the towels for every night you stay there.

Hotel is conviently located. Room size is ok and clean, coffee machine in the lobby was not working 2 day straight. Good value for money. I would recommend it for a short stay.

The hotel is situated at a secluded corner of Wakayama prefecture. It is much preferable to drive here rather than relying on the infrequent hotel shuttle. Public transport is otherwise non existent. There are no restaurants around the hotel. However the hotel provides delicious meals with abundant fresh seafood. The in room dining experience is superb. The hotel staff service is impeccable. The room has a spectacular sea view allowing you to see the sunset on clear days. The onsen also faces the sea which provides a relaxing experience. A downside is that the hotel does not seem to sanitize the slippers for indoor use. All hotel guests had to change to their slippers to access their indoor facilities.

Smile Hotel Wakayama is conveniently located right beside Wakayama Castle, making it a great choice for sightseeing and exploring the area. Overall, we had a good stay and a pleasant experience. Although the hotel’s renovation and interior are slightly outdated, the room was still clean and comfortable. Considering the price and the excellent location, it is more than acceptable and offers great value for money. What truly stood out was the excellent service from the front desk staff. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. We encountered a problem with our car during our stay, and the staff kindly assisted us by contacting the police and helping us handle the situation, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel with a fantastic location and outstanding service.

旅館老闆服務一般般，有點不耐煩，明明自助辦理入住機器上面所登記的電話號碼不是我的電話號碼，我也沒有登記過，我也不知道怎麼回事，老闆便說這是很嚴重的問題。另外，我因為肚痛所以想取消預訂，但是因為訂單是不設取消和退款，即使平台跟老闆溝通過了老闆還是堅決拒絕，這樣我感到有點不好，只能夠當天趕去那邊入住 設施：有浴缸，地方很少，床架是木造的，床褥乾淨，床頭邊上還有小燈和小風扇，把扇連接口拔掉可以用作USB充電。客廳那邊有兩張桌子，洗手盆，梳洗用的洗手盆，一次性牙刷，有儲物櫃，有煮水煲可以自己煲熱水。環境10分乾淨，我入住的時候人也不是很多， 10個床位只有兩三個人入住
