Hotel berhampiran Stesen Kire, Wakayama

I am very pleased with my stay in this hotel! The hotel is easy to find with driving, and I could park in the parking garage across at 1000 yen per day. The check in was fast and front desk staff speaks so English and very helpful. The hotel location is excellent and is right across from the Wakayama castle. The hotel is very new, and the beddings and furnitures all in excellent condition. There’s 10% discount for all the restaurants inside the building which I enjoyed and it was nice to have a walk in the castle park in evening time as it is a very safe neighborhood. Only area to improve is the lack of amenities provided at 3rd floor reception. Overall I recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our Japan trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a beautiful atmosphere and excellent facilities. Staff members were polite, helpful, and always smiling, making us feel very welcome from check in until departure. The location was convenient, close to restaurants, attractions, and public transport. Breakfast was delicious with many choices, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. Everything was smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely return again in the future someday soon.

A very clean hotel and staffs very helpful. Location is perfect, only 3 - 4 mins walk to Wakayama Station. Enough space to store and open your luggage in the room. Lots of restaurants nearby. Free breakfast is simple but tasty. Hotel provide free coffee and a selection of tea bags all through the day, it's very nice. They even provide free postcards for guests to send to their home, love it! Will definitely choose Comfort Hotel Wakayama again next time when I visit there.

Location of hotel is excellent. Walking distance from the train station. However, we drove in this round and the parking situation was quite nightmarish. Firstly, the carpark was at some back alley with no signage/indication. We had to stop by the main road to ask for assistance from Concierge. Then we were not advised that we have the option to park at the open carpark beside the hotel (we only managed to get this info on the check-in slip after parking the car :/) Hotel carpark is the hydraulic car parking system and cost 1500yen... and we had to suddenly remove our baggages at the carpark entrance as we were unable to gain access to the bags after parking the car. Then it comes to food. The town seems quite dead after we checked in around 7pm. Most izakayas on google maps are closed (though it says open). Hotel recommended this restaurant steps away from it and personally, I do not recommend going there. Skewers were all innards and were served lukewarm. Concierge did not even tell us that Torikizoku is nearby.

Beautiful hotel, the rooms were really special in their own ways. The one I stayed in was relatively spacious for Japan standards, and the views of the sea were stunning. Amenities were adequate, sheets and pillows smell fresh and clean. They provide pyjamas as well! The highlights of this hotel is the super spacious, clean and new bathroom with a tub that automatically fills itself to 42 degrees Celsius water as well as the back door of the hotel leads directly to the private beach area that is quiet and peaceful. Not to forget the restaurant area with beautiful views as well! Service was friendly, English was minimal but good enough. Location is slightly inaccessible without a car but the quiet surrounding makes up for it.

The hotel is situated at a secluded corner of Wakayama prefecture. It is much preferable to drive here rather than relying on the infrequent hotel shuttle. Public transport is otherwise non existent. There are no restaurants around the hotel. However the hotel provides delicious meals with abundant fresh seafood. The in room dining experience is superb. The hotel staff service is impeccable. The room has a spectacular sea view allowing you to see the sunset on clear days. The onsen also faces the sea which provides a relaxing experience. A downside is that the hotel does not seem to sanitize the slippers for indoor use. All hotel guests had to change to their slippers to access their indoor facilities.

We absolutely cannot contain our elation when recalling our recent stay at this remarkable hotel. From the moment we stepped into the elevator adorned with personalized name cards, my husband and I were enveloped in the warm embrace of hospitality. The attention to detail and the genuine kindness of the staff made us feel like VIP guests. They also thoughtfully provided a bucket for us to indulge in the glowing enchantment of firecrackers and even tidied the mess up afterwards. But the best memory of our stay here was definitely the culinary experience given by the chef extraordinaire — Master Chef Matsuki. His creations were nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. Each dish was a testament to his unwavering dedication and profound respect for the ingredients. Oh, the flavors — titillating all our taste buds in every bite. And the generosity of Chef Matsuki in sharing his culinary wisdom, guiding us on how to savor each morsel, elevated the entire dining experience to sheer perfection. The language barrier was no obstacle to the remarkable team of staff members who graced us with their presence. Their command of the English language was commendable, and even those who were not entirely fluent went above and beyond to cater to our every whim and need. Their genuine desire to assist us was palpable, leaving us feeling truly valued and cared for. I am already making plans to return with my beloved family, as I know they too deserve to bask in the unparalleled warmth and luxury that this establishment exudes. This hotel has set the bar impossibly high, redefining the meaning of hospitality and creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. So if you seek a hotel experience that transcends mere accommodation and transforms into a symphony of opulence, impeccable service, and culinary artistry, then look no further. Smile Hotel Wakayama is conveniently located right beside Wakayama Castle, making it a great choice for sightseeing and exploring the area. Overall, we had a good stay and a pleasant experience. Although the hotel’s renovation and interior are slightly outdated, the room was still clean and comfortable. Considering the price and the excellent location, it is more than acceptable and offers great value for money. What truly stood out was the excellent service from the front desk staff. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. We encountered a problem with our car during our stay, and the staff kindly assisted us by contacting the police and helping us handle the situation, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel with a fantastic location and outstanding service.

Understanding that it can’t redeem back, it’s good to have a option for client , like swap with soft drink etc Overall hotel staff are nice n attentive, food quality is good also

旅館老闆服務一般般，有點不耐煩，明明自助辦理入住機器上面所登記的電話號碼不是我的電話號碼，我也沒有登記過，我也不知道怎麼回事，老闆便說這是很嚴重的問題。另外，我因為肚痛所以想取消預訂，但是因為訂單是不設取消和退款，即使平台跟老闆溝通過了老闆還是堅決拒絕，這樣我感到有點不好，只能夠當天趕去那邊入住 設施：有浴缸，地方很少，床架是木造的，床褥乾淨，床頭邊上還有小燈和小風扇，把扇連接口拔掉可以用作USB充電。客廳那邊有兩張桌子，洗手盆，梳洗用的洗手盆，一次性牙刷，有儲物櫃，有煮水煲可以自己煲熱水。環境10分乾淨，我入住的時候人也不是很多， 10個床位只有兩三個人入住
