Hotel berhampiran Kuil Komyo-ji, Kamakura

We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the experience. Check-in was easy and efficient, either via the self check-in machine or with staff assistance. The lobby has a cozy, MUJI-style ambiance and provides all the basic necessities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, tea bags, lotion, and more. You can also borrow a face steamer or hair dryer near the lobby lifts, which is a nice touch. On the second floor, there are drink vending machines, an ice machine, and two washer–dryer machines. One note: I don’t recommend using the dryer—it took us almost 2 hours to dry our clothes. The room itself is standard but comfortable. A big thank you to the staff for reading and preparing for my special request in advance—I truly appreciate the effort and attention to detail. The toilet is clean and spacious, WiFi connection is good, and everything was well maintained. Breakfast is provided, and you’ll need to bring the voucher with QR code to scan before entering. There’s a good variety of Japanese and Western food, so it’s easy to find something you’ll enjoy. Overall, we really loved our stay here and would definitely come back again on our next trip. Highly recommended! 😊

お部屋は綺麗でした。大きいテレビはYouTubeが見られ子どもたちに良かったです。 立地も鎌倉駅から近く遊びやすく、夕飯も徒歩圏内に良いお店がたくさんありました。 チェックインの仕方に少し迷いましたがすぐに連絡がとれたので説明していだけました。 また機会があったら利用したいです。

This place is within walking distance from Ofuna train station. There is a direct train from Narita Airport to Ofuna train station, making it very convenient if you fly into Narita Airport. It’s also a convenient location with plenty of choices for food and shopping. The room is spacious and clean as compared to other hotel that is near to train station. You can leave your bags for storage with them while you go sightseeing after check out. Do note that they do not have storage room as the bags are placed in front of the reception but cover with a net and lock with a chain. The room is pretty quiet even though it is near the train track. We will stay again at this hotel if we return to Kamakura area for another visit.

Lokasi yang hebat di Kamakura dengan banyak kedai makan (walaupun pada waktu malam) dalam jarak berjalan kaki berhampiran, juga tidak jauh dan mudah untuk diakses dari Stesen Kamakura. Saya suka butiran kecil hiasan asrama dan suasana hangatnya.

Absolutely great experience. Villa is very comfortable. The host provided everything: towels, toiletries, washing liquid - end everything is top quality! Also kitchen is well equipped and there was a supply of tea and coffee, cooking oil, seasoning. Plus there you can find everything for beach holiday - umbrella, backpacks. In a wrod everything you need is forseen and provided, and the everything is high end quality. Plus he sent us a guid on local attractions, food and places of interest. Highly recommended! I'd definitely stay there again.

It is located in small road and by 4pm you cannot drive on that road so best to check in 3pm. The hotel has parking lots chargeable 1,900 yen per entry till next day 1pm. I didnt use the car once parked and mostly walk around komachi street it is like 8 mins walk. So i am unsure if it allows multiple entries of the car park. Check in smooth, 3pm dropped off bags in room. Went exploring. It has coffee machine to use and public onsen. Similar to onyado but this does not have the ice creams or ramen. But as after heavy walking day, dipping in hot pool and relax is awesome. I stayed in double bunk bed and space was huge. Had a bath tub in shower and separate toilet bowl to allow diff ppl using for diff purpose for getting ready. That day early june typhoon was incoming so it was a rainy day. Was able to borrow an umbrella as car parking lot is about 5 mins walk. Also coffee machine is free to use, grab a coffee before leaving dor the day exploring Kamakura. Overall, really nice place to stay and near the station for those not driving.

This was the most pleasant stay in Kamakura we had! Glad to have an opportunity to write a review. I went to Japan in beginning of November with my younger brother, the weather was warm. We were intended to stay in Kamakura for 2 days (1 day in beginning and 1 day in the end of our trip). A hotel near both to Enoshima and Kotoku-in. The service was incredible. The room was neat and tidy with AC, TV, balcony and matcha tea set, also we could see a sea from the balcony. Hotel has spacious bathroom with mini onsen. The hostess of the hotel was very polite to us. One time we were late to check in, so we called from reception, and she began to apologize politely and walked down from the top floor to give us the keys to our room. We felt a bit awkward) Then she gave us 2 towels for free, when they cost 200 yen, it was nice bonus. Btw every time we checked out, a hostess was giving to us postcards =) We had lots of positive emotions. So, I highly recommend this place to stay in Kamakura.

I found the hosts very welcoming and liked staying here. I stayed only 2 nights and could’ve stayed longer. I liked backing access to be a kitchen and there was free laundry which was really nice. I found the room to be a nice size for just me and enjoyed the open windows in the corridor that left in a cool ocean breeze. The guesthouse is very close to the beach and there’s Café Coworo down the road that has a foot spa and good coffee! I walked about 20 min from Kamakura station to get there but you can take a bus to get you closer and it’s not very far from the enoden line that you can take to Enoshima. I also walked about 20 min from the guesthouse to see the big Buddha statue. Overall, I appreciated the hospitality and would stay here again for sure :)

Excellent location, just a few minutes' walk to the Great Buddha and many other shrines and temples. The facility was clean, and the futons were fluffy and comfortable. We had control of the AC in the room, which was great because we were melting in the 30C weather! The showers are on the second floor (two stalls, both supplied with shampoo/conditioner/body wash), but there is a toilet on both floors. One of them was right outside the door to our room (we stayed in room 5 - Camping Room), making it easy for our son to access. Our only complaint would be the noise from the room upstairs, it was hard to sleep because it sounded like they were having a wrestling match but, that isn't the Inn's fault at all and after a while everything settled into silence and we all got some well earned rest. There is a late-night, family-friendly izakaya called ”Greensward & Shibafu” right around the corner and it stays open until 21:30 (rare in Kamakura, apparently). They were very welcoming, and the food was delicious! I hightly recommened giving it a try.

trip.comから予約したので、このホテルからの予約確定メールは届きませんでした。そこにチェックイン方法などが記載してあるとのことでしたが、数日待っても来ないので、『◯月◯日◯泊予定の◯◯と申します。チェックイン方法を教えてください』という旨をtrip.comに記載されているメールアドレスに送信しました。その日のうちに返信が届き、チェックインコードを入手しました！事前にメールに記載のURLから宿泊者情報を登録しておくと、チェックイン時に反映されるのですぐ済みます！宿泊者全員の年齢の入力も忘れずに‼️ チェックインは、チェックコードを選択して、宿泊者情報確認したら✔️します。(私は年齢を入力し忘れてて、なかなか✔️が押せなかった😭)コールセンターの方とビデオ通話しながら、鍵を取得するためのパスワードを入力して🔑獲得です！鍵1つはもう部屋の中にあります！部屋は綺麗ですが、浴室の換気機能がほぼなくてニオイとカビが気になるところ以外は全然大丈夫！Wi-Fiは部屋番号が出てこなくてもパスワードは全部一緒だからどのネットワーク選んでもOK！鍵は持ち歩きOK！返却はポストに入れれば終わり！ 口コミで見ていたドリンクサービスは恐らくもう無いです！サンリオカフェ？がもう1階になかったです！
