PPengguna TetamuTrendy hotel right at the Matsuyama city station, very convenient for local transport and express buses. The hotel is clean with its own onsen to be used till late. I need to particularly give credit to the most spread out breakfast I have had in Japan that full of surprises as well as the complementary tea, coffee and ice cream. It’s well worth the price.

RRob LeblancAn excellently located hotel for touring the city. It is right across from the main shopping street. Located on the tram line with short rides to most tourist attractions in Matsuyama.
The rooms are well appointed and the parking is accessed from the rear of the hotel site. It is an automated parking system which requires you to drive it into and out of the elevator before it is whisked away.
I’d recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Matsuyama.

WwwhosambirThe staff at the front desk were efficient, though they came across as cold and reserved. The room was disappointing, with run-of-the-mill furniture/furnishings and a creaky chair. The lights were too dim. There was no view as the lower half of the window was blocked by a wall. On the other hand, the bathroom looked quite elegant and was kept clean.
The location is great. There are plenty of dining & shopping options nearby. The hotel has a shopping mall on the lower floors and is next to Mitsukoshi Department Store and Okaido Shopping Street. The Okaido Tram Stop is down the street. The bus stop for the airport limousine is right in front of Mitsukoshi. Attractions such as Bansuiso, Saka no Ue no Kumo Museum and the cable car to Matsuyama Castle are all within walking distance.

PPengguna TetamuGood location. The hotel locates near Matsuyama City Tram Station where is also the terminal station of airport bus. Matsuyama port is just 20 minutes train ride away. One may walk up to the Matsuyama Castle from the hotel within 40 minutes. The castle tram station and the Okaido shopping area are also within walking distance.
Staff were friendly with satisfactory services and amenities.
However it was always crowded at breakfast time.
Be reminded it's Matsuyama City Station but not the JR Matsuyama Station (JR).

今回は、お安く泊まれるところを探していたので
申し分ありませんでした。
すぐそばに24時間500円のコインパーキングもあります。
お部屋が狭いため暖房の効きが早かったのでよかったです。
テレビを見ようとしたら元電が切れているのか？つけ方がわからず、結局見れないままでした。
せめて、元電をつけた状態にしていただけだらよかったです。
スリッパがありましたので問題はありませんが床が汚いのと、や壁がはげているのが気になりました。
とはいえ、全体的に清潔感を保っているので、1日だけ、お安く泊まりたい時にはとてもいいお部屋だと思います。
ドライヤー、鏡、歯ブラシ、タオル1、バスタオル1はありました。

PPengguna TetamuWe wanted to experience Dogo Onsen and this was a great choice (albeit expensive because it was a holiday weekend). The hotel is lovely and the service is beyond excellent. The staff was super kind as we are English speakers. Plus, we really enjoyed the hotels onsens better than the ones in town (the Dogo Onsen is being renovated and only one room was open for each gender; the same was the case with the Annex). The hotels onsens were lovely and the private outdoor onsen was a really lovely experience. We also took advantage of their convenient bus service into town although it’s only a 10 minute walk and we walked multiple times. Highly recommend!

Parking is available — just give your parking ticket to the front desk, and they will charge ¥1,000 per day. When leaving, present the ticket again and they’ll issue an additional pass based on the total parking duration.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The room is of a standard size for Japan.
The downside: the towels had a faint smell of cigarette smoke.

NNoiTabiโรงแรมเก่าแก่ที่เปิดมานานมากก ราคาไม่แพง พนักงานบริการดี อาหารเย็นเป็นบุฟเฟ่หลากหลาย เนื้อย่างในไลน์บุฟเฟ่อร่อยมากกก นุ่มและไม่เหม็นคาวเลย ออนเซ็นมีให้เลือกหลายบ่อ แต่โซนอาบน้ำอยู่ข้างนอกตึก ก็จะหนาวๆหน่อย มีพิพิธภัณฑ์และห้องสมุดในโรงแรมทำให้ดูขลังสุด มีโชว์เปียโนสดตอนหัวค่ำด้วย ฟินมากคะ

PPengguna TetamuConventient location; 10 minute walk to nearest bus station, and about 30 minutes max travel time to anywhere we wanted to go!
Room was clean and compact; but the double bed is quite squeezy if you're fitting two people inside.
Buffet breakfast is 1300¥ if you inquire the day before you intend to eat. It is 1500¥ if you buy it on the day itself.
Accidentally booked a smoking room; but the staff were kind enough to change it for us once they had a room.

PPengguna TetamuI was there at Jan 2024, and only stayed there for 2 days.
The staff there can speak English, and were nice. The second day I stayed there, the staff offered me to have hotpot with all the other people living in Fujiya, an unforgettable experience I treasured and will forever remembered. Even though it is a proxy of a Japanese family, it did feel like I have experienced the Japanese hospitality and friendliness. There were some interesting characters, who may or may not frequented Fujiya, whom I had the pleasure to have this hotpot together.
The facilities are not the best, but the basics necessities were there and no complaining from me, they have an AC there, comfortable enough for me.
The staff did explain that there is only one shower, so we might have to wait for the person to finish. However, since the location is so close to Dogo Onsen, they did recommend to go there instead, and after all, it was why i chose this location in the first place. Location is really close to the Dogo Onsen and the Yuzuki-Castle ruin, which was a lifesaver for me
I would say that all other sight-seeing locations are within walking distance as well since I did walk to all those interesting places. However, I do realize not all people like to walk like I do. To counter that, Fujiya is practically next to the tram station, which you can use it to go to many places in the city.
tldr, would recommend
