LLynn hkI am very pleased with my stay in this hotel! The hotel is easy to find with driving, and I could park in the parking garage across at 1000 yen per day. The check in was fast and front desk staff speaks so English and very helpful. The hotel location is excellent and is right across from the Wakayama castle. The hotel is very new, and the beddings and furnitures all in excellent condition. There’s 10% discount for all the restaurants inside the building which I enjoyed and it was nice to have a walk in the castle park in evening time as it is a very safe neighborhood. Only area to improve is the lack of amenities provided at 3rd floor reception. Overall I recommend this hotel!

HHawjie ChongThe location is pefect, only 2mins walking to a Shopping Complex, where you can buy cheaper food in the food street.
Basically we are going thru the Shopping Complex from the hotel to train/ bus station, a lil bit confused in the first place, but get used to it after few attempts.
We couldnt buy the ticket for the movies in the TV from the ticket machine, and the Netflix is not allowable in the room, so we end up watching the Japanese shows without subtitle.
The complementary breakfast is average, its convenient for you, but do not expect it to be a very satisfying one.

LLynn hkThe hotel is easy to find with a parking garage connecting to it. Check in was fast and hotel staff was helpful with good English. Parking is 800 yen for hotel guests for 24 hours. The room is nice and beddings are comfortable. Their sky spa is small but functional with an indoor, outdoor onsen and a steam sauna. It could get crowded if there are more than 2-3 people given so compact. The mall downstairs have a few restaurants, a supermarket, a bookstore and a public library which is convenient. The hotel does not provide much amenities which I was a bit disappointed. Overall still a good hotel with a modern stylish design which i recommend in non peak season with a good rate.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is only 10 mins walk from the Wakayama train station. The restaurants nearby are The room is more spacious than other hotels we had stayed in Japan. Free ice cream and complimentary drinks are offered, and we enjoy the hotspring very much. I highly recommend this hotel to tourists who want to stay in the Wakayama city for 2-3 days. Just a reminder to freinds that the hotel doesn't provide free daily bedroom cleaning due to the environmental policy of the Wakayama city, so additional fee will be requested if you really a daily room service. Towels and supplies can be replaced for free upon request, and garbage can be dumped at the recycling bin yourself. Overall this hotel is excellent for couples and a family.

GGeraldLim1Beautiful hotel, the rooms were really special in their own ways. The one I stayed in was relatively spacious for Japan standards, and the views of the sea were stunning. Amenities were adequate, sheets and pillows smell fresh and clean. They provide pyjamas as well!
The highlights of this hotel is the super spacious, clean and new bathroom with a tub that automatically fills itself to 42 degrees Celsius water as well as the back door of the hotel leads directly to the private beach area that is quiet and peaceful. Not to forget the restaurant area with beautiful views as well! Service was friendly, English was minimal but good enough. Location is slightly inaccessible without a car but the quiet surrounding makes up for it.

PPengguna TetamuThe room is huge which is out of our expectation, lots of spaces for luggage, the room got everything you need which camee to our surprise, like cables with various plug, different texture if rubber band, all sort of facial care, and different flavours of body shower, shampp and conditioner etc.
theres even a supply station at the lobby if you still find not enough; as well as a drinks machine, which u can get coffee, matcha, chocolate and so on, it really made our day.
The hotel is around 15 mins walk from JR station, there is convenient shop nearby, it wont be a big problem if you drive, theres a free parking at the hotel as well.

They also thoughtfully provided a bucket for us to indulge in the glowing enchantment of firecrackers and even tidied the mess up afterwards.
But the best memory of our stay here was definitely the culinary experience given by the chef extraordinaire — Master Chef Matsuki. His creations were nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. Each dish was a testament to his unwavering dedication and profound respect for the ingredients. Oh, the flavors — titillating all our taste buds in every bite. And the generosity of Chef Matsuki in sharing his culinary wisdom, guiding us on how to savor each morsel, elevated the entire dining experience to sheer perfection.
The language barrier was no obstacle to the remarkable team of staff members who graced us with their presence. Their command of the English language was commendable, and even those who were not entirely fluent went above and beyond to cater to our every whim and need. Their genuine desire to assist us was palpable, leaving us feeling truly valued and cared for.
I am already making plans to return with my beloved family, as I know they too deserve to bask in the unparalleled warmth and luxury that this establishment exudes. This hotel has set the bar impossibly high, redefining the meaning of hospitality and creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

CchrslSmile Hotel Wakayama is conveniently located right beside Wakayama Castle, making it a great choice for sightseeing and exploring the area. Overall, we had a good stay and a pleasant experience.
Although the hotel’s renovation and interior are slightly outdated, the room was still clean and comfortable. Considering the price and the excellent location, it is more than acceptable and offers great value for money.
What truly stood out was the excellent service from the front desk staff. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. We encountered a problem with our car during our stay, and the staff kindly assisted us by contacting the police and helping us handle the situation, which we really appreciated.
Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel with a fantastic location and outstanding service.
