Ssplatour original hotel booking at mitsui garden got force cancelled due to maintenance so this hotel was our alternative & it did not disappoint!
service : front desk & staff were very friendly & allowed to store our luggages till evening the next day! [10/10]
room : size was alright for the price, very clean [10/10]
location : amazing, located within walking distance of hiroshima station [10/10]
cost : amazing, given that this was our alternative offered as compensation, its amazing [10/10]

OOlmerInitially we booked the wrong night by mistake. I immediately had sent letter to the host, just 2 minutes after that mistake. And at first, host said, that they would refund without any problems, but after that he turned down our ask for refund and offered only date change, which was the problem, because the price was 2.5x more on the dates, that we needed and we would never stay at the place so expensive. In the end we had to make additional payment to stay for only one night, just to not loose the first money transfer.
And host refused to talk about why he changed his initial position and what is wrong with the refund 2 months prior to the stay. Even that we had assured him, that it was really a mistake (confused ”mar” and ”may” in the app) and sent him our plane tickets,.
He also told us, that he can't give us refund, because he prepared the room and because of the booking he couldn't rent room to another person and lost money, which I find highly unlike, since the first response from him was very quick and the wrong booking was made 2 hours before midnight, so it's very unlikely, that someone else would rent it.
Overall, I don't think that it could be considered as hospitality.
The place itself is nice, if booked for an appropriate price. Don't expect luxury, but a simple, spacious room with a balcony and a view on the road and trees.

PPengguna TetamuStayed here during a mid-February trip and the location is its greatest strength. Being directly connected to JR Hiroshima Station via the pedestrian bridge was a lifesaver, especially since we were traveling with several large suitcases. We used the Ta-Q-Bin (luggage forwarding) service to send our bags to our next stop in Nagoya, and the staff handled it perfectly. Also made use of their valet laundry service for our tops and pants—it was quick and saved us a lot of hassle. If you're looking for a stress-free base in Hiroshima, this is it.

PPengguna TetamuDefinitely the best hostel I stayed at during my 2-week trip to Japan! The mattress is firm and comfortable (unlike many hostels in Japan that use futon-style bedding), so I slept very well. The soundproofing is good, and the location is convenient, with the train station nearby. Highly recommended!
There’s also a small local eatery less than a 5-minute walk away where I enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal for only 500 yen - such a great find!

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe room was very clean but the set up was very awkward with a sink in the bedroom and the shower and toilet separate. It was quite a long walk from Hiroshima station. Closest transport was a tram which isn't covered by JR pass so I ended up paying extra to get to and from the station. You had to collect your own toiletries from reception. Was ok for a night stay but wouldn't stay longer than that as no space to even store a suitcase and had to leave it by the door.

DDr.p3pp3rThe location of this hotel is excellent. It’s right next to Peace Memorial Park, directly behind the museum, in a quiet and pleasant area. It’s about a 3–5 minute walk from the tram stop and around 5 minutes to the main shopping street. If you get this hotel at a good price and only plan a short stay focused on the Peace Park, the location is definitely a plus.
The room itself, however, was extremely small. Seating was uncomfortable — only a small stool with no back, and in my case the screws were sticking out, making it unsafe and unpleasant to use. You are basically either on the bed or out of the room.
The biggest issue was severe condensation and dampness. The room had extreme moisture problems — water running down the walls and windows, and the bed and floor becoming damp overnight. I woke up with wet feet and later realised why. This is not normal condensation; it was excessive and clearly an ongoing issue. I raised this with the front desk when checking out, but it was brushed off. After contacting Trip.com with photos and videos, the hotel refused responsibility once I had checked out. Trip.com eventually offered partial compensation, but the hotel itself showed no accountability.
Because of this, I would not stay here again. I am not overly picky with hotels, but a damp room that can make guests sick is unacceptable.
Also, I do not recommend the breakfast. You receive a very small bento box with unclear contents and a bottled tea. For the price, you are far better off going to a nearby convenience store like Lawson.
Overall: great location, but poor room conditions and lack of responsibility from the hotel. There are better options in this area.

Toilets and shower were very clean.
All in all a nice hostel to stay for 1 or two nights. For a longer stay I would recommend a different one because the beds weren’t that comfortable:))
