Great hotel for a family stay in Fukuoka. The location in Tenjin was super convenient, with direct access to the underground shopping street and subway station. We loved being able to return to the hotel and relax in the lounge after shopping. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of veggie options, the room was spacious by Japan standards, and the staff were very friendly. Very good value for money.

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating in changing the smoking rooms to non-smoking ones. They were considerate in helping us manage and prevent the need to change rooms, despite being fully booked.

Breakfast is amazing. Didn’t expect this extravagant breakfast and it is worth the price, compensating small room size but as expected room in the city. When enter the hotel entrace, the esthetic and fragrance smell is nice. Welcome drink is white wine and that is a win!! Overall is good hotel experience (this hotel has no parking lot but can park at nearby building) and staff is very nice.

Easy check in. Luggage hold before check in time and after checkout convenient. We had the breakfast which was nothing fancy but excellent. The location was perfect for walking in that every direction there was subway access, parks, malls and restaurants. Room was very clean and well lit. I would stay there again for sure.

The hotel is located just within walking distance to Tenjin station packed with shopping malls and F&B outlets.
So I decided to come back here for 2nd time. However, the room we got this time is extremely dusty, my friend got skin irritation and I got eye irritation a while later when we got into our room. With the heater conditioning during this winter season, it is really an unpleasant stay. We had to ask the hotel staff to open the window for us for fresh airflow. The closet and aircon vent is duty too. Luckily it is just a 2-nights stay this time. Will not be staying at this hotel again for my future trips in Fukuoka.

The room is quite small, and it’s a bit difficult for two people to open their suitcases at the same time — we had to take turns. Other than that, everything was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. I had seen reviews mentioning ikura, but it wasn’t available during my stay, which was a little disappointing. Still, I was overall very impressed.

Очень приятный отель с современным дизайном номеров. Сам номер маленький, но комфортный. Ванна очень маленькая, крупному мужчине придется принимать душ исключительно стоя) От станции Tenjin Minami минут 20-25 пешком, довольно далеко, если добираться с багажом. Прямо напротив есть 7/11. В этом районе есть большое количество изакай, но с обычными кафе все сложнее. Лучше выбираться в другие кварталы. В целом остались приятные впечатления от пребывания, район хороший и в целом спокойный

Lyf is a gorgeous hotel! Very hip, young, happy vibes! We had 2 welcome drinks when we checked in. Met different travellers, young and old, from different countries. Very centrally located - walking distance to all the shops! We enjoyed our stay here!

The location of the hotel is awesome but beware there’s no place to stop ur car to unload ur luggages at the main entrance. U have to drive to the back.
Lobby isn’t at the ground floor like many Japanese hotels in city centre.
Check in via machine or at counter. Staff were super nice and helpful.
We got 2 rooms, and we got the bigger rooms since it was our last stop of the trip. It wasn’t connecting but was next to each other. We love the space. We couldn’t open up 2 big luggages.
Room was clean, i love the fact that u can choose the type of cleaning you want daily. Just leave the towels, or minimal cleaning like just throw the trash, or full cleaning.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay at Tenjin area.

This Fukuoka Daiwa Roynet Premier branch is good as before, convenient location (very near Gion station, also walking distance to Canal City and Hakata station with lots of shopping and food options) cosy room with free items at the lobby , including bath salt which I always enjoy after a long day walking outside.

The room was clean and well-maintained, and the facilities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, providing good service and making us feel comfortable.
Overall, everything from cleanliness to service met expectations. It’s definitely a good choice for anyone visiting Fukuoka, whether for leisure or family trips. Would consider staying here again!

BBeautiful day to travelWe stayed as a family of four in a room with four beds for one night, and it was a great experience. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from the train station once you exit, with convenient stores nearby. The hotel sits at the beginning/end of the Tenjin area, making it perfect for food, shopping, and exploring.
What we loved most was that it’s surrounded by several Yatai stalls. When we first arrived in Fukuoka, we stayed in the Hakata area and had trouble finding Yatai. Staying here made it so easy to enjoy the Yatai vibes, even though the food is similar across stalls. Highly recommend staying in this area instead if Yatai is what you’re looking for!
Service at the hotel was very good — staff were kind and helpful, from assisting with luggage storage to helping us call a taxi in the morning. The hotel also has a small spa room, though it can get quite crowded. There’s a self-service laundry room too, costing about 100–300 yen for wash and dry, which is very convenient.
The room was comfortable with cold air-conditioning, cosy blankets, and a dehumidifier/air purifier provided. Everything was just right for a good night’s sleep.
Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay — great location and helpful staff. Would recommend!

PPengguna Tanpa NamaLike all the other reviews here, Forza’s location can’t be beaten. Its literally less than 1 min walk from the airport bus stop. The popular Hakata Station is also within a minute walk. The location alone earns the hotel a 5 star.
Checking in and out of hotel was also an ease. The staff at the counter was helpful and friendly. A bag of toiletries was also prepared for my 8 yr old with kiddy slippers, which was much appreciated.
The room was decent size, we chose the 豪華雙人房 (19 sq m I think?) with a mini couch area – perfect for backpacks, a window, and a portable massage mat. I loved the magnets that we can stick to the door to let the cleaners know whether or not our room needs to be cleaned. What’s more is that there is an option to choose “Take out trash and change towels only”. This is a really thoughtful option, because we really don’t need our room to be made up every day. And it’s perfect that we can just have the trash taken out and towels changed.
I was a bit nervous about the cleanliness of the hotel rooms after reading some of the reviews on here, especially when I have a kid with me. I don’t want her to get sick from the germs in the room. But to my surprise, the room was quite decent, atleast I didn’t see any visible dustballs or dirty air con ventilators. Maybe because the hotel already took action to clean all the rooms and air con vents after reading some of the reviews here about dirty air con vents? I took a photo of our room air con vents for parents to take a look =) The air purifier in the room was also very comforting. We stayed in Forza for 6 days and none of us got sick =D
For the first 2 days, I did smell a bit of a urine smell when you kneel close to the carpet/toilet. It was a slight faint smell. By the 3rd day, there wasn’t much noticeable smell anymore, not sure if it was the air purifier that helped or if we got use to it. Hahaha.
On one of the nights that we returned to the hotel, we noticed that the cleaners had forgotten to put a trash bag back into the trash can. So I called reception and told them. The suited man that came with a trash bag didn’t seem too friendly. He looked like he either didn’t want to be there, didn’t know what he needed to do, or that we are trying to cheat him of a plastic bag. Anyway, I had to explain that I need a trash bag because I didn’t want to make the trash can dirty. I even had to SHOW him the trash can to convince him why I needed a bag. When he finally saw the empty trash can, he gave us a plastic bag, and left an extra one inside the trash can. He didn’t seem too pleased that I was trying to help protect the hotel’s assets, he just looks as if I disturbed his night.
The shower head took some time to get use to too. Normally shower heads will be placed at a slight angle, but the shower heads in our room shoots straight at a 90 degree angle, which was quite hard to use coz the water will be shooting directly at your chest, and you would need to kneel down a bit to wash your hair, otherwise you would need to hold the shower head with one hand, while washing with the other hand. It’s a bit hard to explain, so I took some photos to show. But you will know what I mean when you stay at the hotel.
Anyway, overall the stay was still very pleasant. I will definitely choose Forza again the next time I visit Fukuoka. Thank you Forza.

Rooms are spacious and kids friendly (kid slippers and toothbrush were provided. They also provided a baby crib upon request). The brand of high chair in Why Not is stokke! We enjoyed the stay a lot.

Hhorst.cGreat hotel 5 min walking to the subway.There is a shopping arcade nearby and wonderful canal city hakata about 15 min walking.Beds were good and there is a double door leading to the bathroom and a separate toilet room.Funny is you get greeted with some dinosaur at the reception.Check in only at 3 pm but my experience its pretty normal in Japan.Breakfast was sufficient nothing special and its kind of self service.Overal good hotel if you can catch a good price.
