"The hotel exceeded all the expectations! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Yamagata. The personnel is very polite, very helpful, and tries to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The hotel is a new building I would say, very close to the station. There is a 7/11 store on the 1st floor which is very convenient. The room is very spacious, has everything you might need. Also you can take all the necessary items such as face creams, toners, lotions, hair oils, toothbrushes, hair ties, teas, coffees etc. at the front desk. Absolutely wonderful experience!"

"Great staff, great location and spacious rooms. A little old and worn , but reasonably maintained, bathrooms are tight likely to need upgrade soon. But overall is okay"

At night they have cold or hot soba for free starting at 8pm Is just around 200meter away from jr station The lobby at second floor Toyota rent a car just below the hotel The free facial mask is so good to use The bed is very comfortable and two pillows provided"

"Beautiful hotel with a large area for rest and reading books, and play area for young child. A lot of comic books available. My child enjoy the stay very much! Excellent buffet breakfast. Dinner also very nice. Public bath has a beautiful view of the mountain ＜3 ＜3"

"Located on the top of a business building linking to the Yamagata station. You won’t have to be worried even if it’s snowing or raining. A side note to travellers from the hotter climate, the hotel doesn’t supply air conditioning during winter. Instead it has a small webbed facility that allows outside air to flow into the room. This slight chills the room. However during the day, the room will be super hot. Initially we had a room facing the sun and when we checked in, the room is super hot. Called the customer service only to find out they didn’t have air conditioning during winter and we have to rent a fan from them. After a slight communication, the customer service is kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger room which is slightly cooler. Big props to the customer service lady! 5 stars service !"

"Super convenient directly connected to the JR train station. Very clean. Only flaws may be compact space and heating is too strong, but not significant problems at all."

"A convenient hotel for a short stay in Yamagata. The welcoming smiles of the front receptionists are very much appreciated. The hotel is very clean and tidy and is located next to Family Mart. Finding food is not a problem as there are many restaurants nearby. The breakfast served in the morning is delicious and varied. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel."

"C'était une très belle expérience et une très belle rencontre avec la tenancière de l'établissement. Sa gentillesse est remarquable et c'est une excellente cuisinière. Les repas sont vraiment généreux et regorgent de multiples mets. L'accueil a été à la hauteur de ce que doit être un ryokan, c'est à dire chaleureux et impeccable. Le ryokan est à une distance raisonnable de la gare (20mn à pieds). Ceci dit il est en bord de route et de voix ferrée, ce qui ne m'a pas dérangé mais doit être pris en compte. Merci beaucoup pour ces 3 nuits passées et vos délicieux repas. 🙏"

"The hotel itself is old but comfortable. The ownership has changed and the hospitality is very poor. I was at breakfast and was told that the restaurant will be closed at 9:30. I thought they meant that that the last order would be 9:30. The moment it was 9:30 they kicked us out. As I was having a business breakfast it was very rude."
