PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe beds are incredibly uncomfortable if it's not a new hotel. The minibar has not even been put in a free water. Breakfast is average for hotels of these standards. Those who put a single coffee machine in a single coffee machine are their turn every morning you know. There's no one to inform you. You need to learn yourself. It might be better if you stay at another hotel nearby.

SScullyThe staff working on the weekend were super nice and helpful, and I’ve stayed here many, many times, always so nice & such a lovely boutique place to stay with many awesome things to like. On the day I checked out oh my god, where did this girl suddenly come from? Little wanna be Swedish police officer banging on my door trying to get in. Ok i fell asleep after breakfast? So what. Even after i checked out & and was just having a coffee in the lobby, she came again in my face demanding to know if i had checked out? She was just rude, unprofessional, behavior was unbelievable. Really ruined my experience at the nice hotel Pigalle. Actually, I don’t accept people thinking they are better than everyone else & they think that they can just talk to people like they are a piece of crap. Therefore, sadly, I don’t think I will ever stay here ever again.. Sorry but..

PPatrickEOverall, this hotel was a superb experience.
We arrived around 18.00 in the evening after a long drive. Unfortunately some technical error in their system required us to wait in the lobby for about 30min, but we were swiftly compensated in the form of free parking and a complimentary prosecco in the room.
The room itself was beautiful. Amazing view, very comfortable bed and TV placement, a very long bathtub. The only mild annoyance was that the bathroom light was finicky to turn on and adjust.
The spa is a must-experience, especially after a long drive from one side of Sweden to the other. It was excellent; nothing to complain about.
The best thing about Upper House however, is the breakfast. I have never had a better breakfast experience anywhere else in the world. I would gladly stay again just to eat their breakfast menu.
Very excellent stay, great service and great food. A solid 9.5/10 experience.

OObada KattanThe hotel was super safe, the location was absolutely perfect. I went here for a short three day vacation. The service and stuff were absolutely fantastic. Everything was smooth, everything was run using high-tech systems. The lobby was beautiful and there was plenty of amenities available. The only negatives that I would recommend for them to improve on is first of all to have a system or telephone in the room so that we can call the reception. The other thing is that rooms that are king size bed are actually two single beds that are put together which can be quite annoying sometimes. Other than that, honestly, I can’t complain much. I would definitely come back here again. I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Sweden for a few days for business or pleasure

MMr.SaifMy recent stay at the Scandic Göteborg Central was a truly positive experience, largely thanks to its fantastic location and the excellent service provided. Being just a short, pleasant 10-minute walk from the central station was incredibly convenient. This made arriving and departing effortless, and exploring the city using public transport was a breeze. The service I encountered throughout the hotel was consistently great. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, and any queries I had were addressed promptly and with genuine care. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. The spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. From fresh pastries and bread to a selection of hot dishes, cereals, fruits, and yogurts, there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was also noteworthy, making for a delightful start to each day. Overall, the Scandic Göteborg Central offered a comfortable and convenient base for my time in Gothenburg. Its perfect location near the central station, coupled with the great service and delicious breakfast, made for a memorable and enjoyable stay. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is conveniently located at central station in Gothenburg. Very walkable and close to shopping and restaurants. The area is busy with lots of transit and people, bit the hotel is overall quiet. Breakfast is good with an assortment of items, but can get repetitive for longer stays as the food items are the same each day. The rooms are comfortable and good size with spacious bathrooms. The bathrooms are quite basic and needs upgrading as ours had some broken tiles across the corners. Overall a. Very good hotel that we'd stay in again.

PPengguna TetamuLoved the location of this hotel as well as the downstairs communal areas. Also the size of the room was great.
Unfortunately the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and cheap so I barely slept a wink in my 3 nights there. I asked for an extra pillow as you only get one and that still didn’t help.
Staff were lovely when I did speak to them, but you can easily go by your whole stay without talking to someone which is a shame as you don’t get told any information.
There was also no fridge or safe in the rooms which I thought was pretty standard.
Food at the breakfast buffet was really good though. Great options for vegans/gluten free too.

PPengguna TetamuStayed for one night only but wouldn't have minded staying longer. Room is well-lit, small but comfy and definitely fine for one person. Breakfast was pretty good and had a good variety of options, just a bit crowded (understandably so because I think all bookings include breakfast by default). Luggage storage is free but not super secure; the front desk locks the storage room but then you place and take your own bags from inside, so there's nothing stopping someone else from taking your bag. Location - need to take a bus to the train station; also not much in the immediate vicinity.

Room: Spacious enough for 2 people, we can lay down and open 2 suitcases simultaneously at ease. Hair dryer provided. There were some weird red stains on the jacuzzi (we weren’t going to use that anyway) so the room doesn’t seemed to be cleaned properly. Moreover, the bathroom drain was clogged and the water was close to flowing out of the bathroom, we told the reception and we got to change to another room. The second room was ok.
