PPengguna TetamuGreat location at the river banks, very friendly staff, spacious clean room and delicious breakfast as well as dinner in the Favola restaurant. The spa offers great treatments. Trips were organized fast and perfect. It’s not often but for this hotel I can’t find anything negative to mention. It was a perfect relaxing stay.

1. Very good first impression during check-in – staff are very cheerful, helpful and enthusiastic – a fantastic welcome to my stay!
2. Clean, spacious and most importantly, no insects or foul smell in the room. Good quality mattress, pillows, bed linen and towels - all new and are so comfortable! Housekeeper's response was prompt and everything worked well.
3. Within walking distance to: nearest 7-11 shop (about 7 minutes), Saturday night market (about 10 minutes), Clock tower (about 15 minutes)
4. Spotless and cosy restaurant. Breakfast spread is small but well-prepared with slight variation in the hot dishes daily (kudos to the chef!). Coffee is good!
Dislike:
1. Space in toilet is very tight in the superior room – suitable only for someone with small body frame
2. Pool does not seem to be cleaned daily as I saw dirt and dead insects floating in the water for 2 days’ straight (the bright lights around the pool attract a lot of flying insects on certain nights). Pool water is only waist-deep
3. The hotel is situated within an older residential area and the alleys are dead quiet after dark. My room on the 4th floor has views of roof tops of the surrounding nondescript buildings. Rooms on the opposite side probably have better views.
4. TV is not a smart TV. Mainly Thai programmes so nothing to watch if you do not understand Thai

PPengguna TetamuIt was my second time to stay here as last 2 years (in 2023 and again 2025). Overall the poshtel is very good and perfect location. Hopefully I will come back to this property while I am hearing that there is being change in July 2025.
A month of June, 2025 I would like to invite you to stay, be happy and good experience with this poshtel.

AAdrianHTKDThis is a good-sized hotel in the centre of Chiang Rai, and it seems to be popular with coach tour groups. It’s conveniently located around 10 minutes from the airport (Bolt works well) and just a 2-minute walk from Bus Terminal 1. There’s also a large on-site car park.
Check-in staff are friendly and efficient, and there are two separate lift banks serving the guest rooms. There aren’t any notable views, but the rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable. Beds are good, there’s a proper desk, and the usual amenities are provided: fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, two bottles of water, a safe, etc. The bathroom feels slightly cramped as the bath/shower is enclosed behind a solid glass screen, which may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility. The rooms and upper corridors do feel a little dated, but given the location in northern Thailand, this can also be seen as part of the hotel’s Thai charm.
The main restaurant is located next to reception and offers a breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options to suit many nationalities. There’s also a bar in the lobby area, with live music in the evenings, and a karaoke club and bar in the basement.
At the rear of the hotel there’s a large swimming pool. The downside is that it remains in the shade all day, so the water is quite cold and even the sun loungers don’t get any direct sunshine.
One of the hotel’s biggest strengths is its location. Everything in downtown Chiang Rai is easily walkable: the Night Bazaar is just 2 minutes away, along with the Golden Clock Tower, numerous massage shops, beer bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and even a cat café where you can enjoy a coffee while stroking the cats. If you’re feeling particularly hungry, Ribs & Co is well worth a visit. The hotel also makes a great base for exploring northern Thailand — tours like the “7 in one day” trip are easy to arrange. Central Plaza shopping mall is only about 5 minutes away by taxi.
Overall, a very convenient and comfortable base for exploring Chiang Rai and the surrounding region. Enjoy 👍🏼

PPengguna Tetamu🇬🇧I absolutely adored my stay at this charming family-run hotel! The receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to assist me . The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with wood & minimal style. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this gem to budget-conscious travelers and anyone seeking a truly authentic local experience.
🇫🇷 J'ai absolument adoré mon séjour dans ce charmant hôtel familial! La réceptionniste était incroyablement serviable et sympathique, allant même jusqu'à m'aider . L'hôtel lui-même est joliment décoré avec des accents de bois chaleureux 🥰 et possède une atmosphère chaleureuse et accueillante. Je recommande vivement ce petit bijou aux voyageurs soucieux de leur budget et à tous ceux qui recherchent une véritable expérience locale.

PPengguna TetamuWhat a great find in Chiang Rai. We normally stay at the golden pine resort and that offers great value but I wanted to try something else.
Other similar properties were and still are a bit over priced and i seek out the best overall value accommodation. Not the cheapest though. We usually stay one to foUr weeks so it needs to be right.
The hotel is at the third bridge up the kok river with easy access by road. The river front location is very quiet and peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery. I spent some time by myself just relaxing and the food service provided by the restaurant is good value as well.
We had a two bedroom suite with every living area, two bathrooms and another serviette toilet as well. The included breakfast is more Thai style but adequate with a fair amount of choice.
Overall I would give it a good solid 4-4.5/5.

KKetmaniLocation wise is good, there is a 711 2mins walking distance and 20mins drive to central Chiang rai. It is also near Lan Muang night market. However I find that the shower head water is a little small and hair dryer also not working. But overall service is excellent and hotel is clean.

DDon林Like a little sparrow, the amenities are equipped. If one is doable with common bathrooms/toilets, this is excellent. The flooring is well varnished with good grade epoxy and feel good on the soles. Boom the inn-keeper is meticulous in cleanliness and helpful with guests' request. I recommend travellers that are not too picky.

PPengguna TetamuIt’s a good hotel for the money 💰 shower was excellent a pretty comfy bed, however the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve seen in Asia, the hotel seems to cater for the Asian market with the breakfast even though there are lots of westerners staying there, if you want eggs you have to pay for them and the rest of the stuff on offer was crap! , the coffee was grim! give it a miss 🤣🤣
