Hotel berhampiran Ladang Boon Rawd, Chiang Rai

Great location at the river banks, very friendly staff, spacious clean room and delicious breakfast as well as dinner in the Favola restaurant. The spa offers great treatments. Trips were organized fast and perfect. It’s not often but for this hotel I can’t find anything negative to mention. It was a perfect relaxing stay.

Mixed Experience Good location and helpful staff, but the single room needs significant improvements. The bed was extremely hard, and the room's only light source was an uncomfortably bright white LED. The biggest issue was the ventilation - either too noisy when on or poor air quality when off. While the hostel has potential, I wouldn't book this particular room again until these issues are addressed. Consider other room options if staying here.

Like: 1. Very good first impression during check-in – staff are very cheerful, helpful and enthusiastic – a fantastic welcome to my stay! 2. Clean, spacious and most importantly, no insects or foul smell in the room. Good quality mattress, pillows, bed linen and towels - all new and are so comfortable! Housekeeper's response was prompt and everything worked well. 3. Within walking distance to: nearest 7-11 shop (about 7 minutes), Saturday night market (about 10 minutes), Clock tower (about 15 minutes) 4. Spotless and cosy restaurant. Breakfast spread is small but well-prepared with slight variation in the hot dishes daily (kudos to the chef!). Coffee is good! Dislike: 1. Space in toilet is very tight in the superior room – suitable only for someone with small body frame 2. Pool does not seem to be cleaned daily as I saw dirt and dead insects floating in the water for 2 days’ straight (the bright lights around the pool attract a lot of flying insects on certain nights). Pool water is only waist-deep 3. The hotel is situated within an older residential area and the alleys are dead quiet after dark. My room on the 4th floor has views of roof tops of the surrounding nondescript buildings. Rooms on the opposite side probably have better views. 4. TV is not a smart TV. Mainly Thai programmes so nothing to watch if you do not understand Thai

Location wise is good, there is a 711 2mins walking distance and 20mins drive to central Chiang rai. It is also near Lan Muang night market. However I find that the shower head water is a little small and hair dryer also not working. But overall service is excellent and hotel is clean.

Nice older hotel, was great in it's day. Shower in tub fixed faucet, no handle, water temp hot/cold, big puffy pillows on hard bed. Room noisy due to outside road had bump and grate. Toilet required multiple flushes 200 baht for additional room key, refunded at departure.Good safety box in room.. Breakfast, 1st day had muffins, then nothing for dessert. Only veg was cabbage. Coffee good, egg station, good staff.

🇬🇧I absolutely adored my stay at this charming family-run hotel! The receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to assist me . The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with wood & minimal style. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this gem to budget-conscious travelers and anyone seeking a truly authentic local experience. 🇫🇷 J'ai absolument adoré mon séjour dans ce charmant hôtel familial! What a great find in Chiang Rai. We normally stay at the golden pine resort and that offers great value but I wanted to try something else. Other similar properties were and still are a bit over priced and i seek out the best overall value accommodation. Not the cheapest though. We usually stay one to foUr weeks so it needs to be right. The hotel is at the third bridge up the kok river with easy access by road. The river front location is very quiet and peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery. I spent some time by myself just relaxing and the food service provided by the restaurant is good value as well. We had a two bedroom suite with every living area, two bathrooms and another serviette toilet as well. The included breakfast is more Thai style but adequate with a fair amount of choice. Overall I would give it a good solid 4-4.5/5.

I have been there for a couple of days. Central location, clean, a huge fridge downstairs, a small kitchen for basic things (no gas for the cooker) and some fruits and coffee were available. The only problem was noise, as a few guest were impolite, but other than that, I have been happy with my stay.
