Hotel is right at the doorstep of Rongros and Supanniga Eating Room. There are many eateries nearby as well.

"Staying at Ralph Hostel as a solo traveler in Bangkok was an excellent experience. The hostel has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that makes it very easy to meet other travelers while still feeling comfortable and safe. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and always happy to give local tips or recommendations.
The rooms and common areas were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for travelers. lockers felt secure, and the overall vibe was social without being noisy. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to public transportation, street food, cafés, and nearby attractions.
One of the highlights was the rooftop garden, which offers absolutely amazing views of the nearby palaces. Watching the sunset and seeing the palace rooftops light up in the evening was truly special and made the stay even more memorable.
Ralph Hostel is a fantastic choice for solo travelers looking for great value, comfort, and a unique Bangkok experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"We booked the panoramic room. The staff were nice to show us the room with jaccuzi in case we wanted to swop. We enjoyed the panoramic room. It is rare to have a panoramic hotel room. We only had one night there and we werent in to see any sunset. But the sunrise was nice. The location was strategic. Just in front of the river but yet the surrounding was quiet and safe. The room is soundproof so there was no noise. We like the ample parking space in front of the hotel. There is welcome drink from 5pm to 11pm. Unfortunately, we were not around to enjoy it. There were free biscuits and drinks at the hotel lobby. The room was clean. Even thougj it is a small boutique hotel, there is an elevator to the different levels. Breakfast was good. There is nothing not good about the hotel except maybe to have the welcome drink available in the daytime as well."

AAngelo_007The views from this hotel was stunning. Both inside in my room and all around the hotel campus you look directly into the heart of Bangkok and can see a good part of the city. Location wise travelers at this site are close to multiple local hotspots. In my case I enjoyed walking over to the waterfront where I took a river cruise into China town and spent most of my day there. It was pleasant to come back to a quiet room with a charming view after all the exploration and adventure.
Inside my room everything was clean and with a touch of modern decoration and color. My bathroom included a spacious tub and my bed was very comfortable under the well regulated room air conditioning. I enjoyed being close to several shopping districts including Central World and Siam Paragon where I ended up walking to the next morning.
I very much enjoyed the staff at this site with complements going to the bar crew. Both nights there I spent time enjoying a beer and discussing how local life was for these friendly and energetic folks. On my last morning I took part in the breakfast buffet and I was surprised to see how many options for food were available. Overall this was a great stay that I recommend and would gladly revisit upon my return.

SSTUART GOODALLThis Place is an awesome choice to make for Bangkok - close to everything that matters on the scenic riverside with magical views and occasional fireworks.
It has easy access to transport, the facilities are modern, spacious and thoughtful for the modern traveller wanting comfort and offering great value.
You will not be missing anything here and you will be well impressed with the maintenance of everything, the privacy of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff.
I highly recommend this Hostel for all it has and how it makes you feel. It is truly a place people keep coming back to.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe location is ok but nearby not much things to do. Nearest mall is around 15 min by foot and seem localised with super markets, home pro etc.
Good for business people but not good for leisure traveler.
Huai Kwang mrt exit 2 is a 3-5 min walk. However if raining, good game.
Regarding the room, if possible, do a flush first to check if your toilet has choke. My toilet choke on my last night and the hotel staff proposed to change room but I didn’t as too much things to pack and unpack for just a mere 8-10 hours before check out.
Next morning wake up, the next door also choke. As I can help the engineering guy pumping his toilet and there are the blob blob blob sound in my toilet bowl. Seem like both room toilet share the same main pipe and the main got choke.
Kudos to hotel staff to give a new room.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaI went to Bangkok 2 times in 2 months. First we were in an expensive 5 star resort in the river and second time was here in Ramada Plaza. It was more than half the price of the first place but wow it was almost as good! I am not goof at reviews so I will just ramble my thoughts. The worst part of Ramada Plaza is the entrance. It is lackluster and the main big doors were not working so they had small signs that say in and out for you to use side doors. When you get in, the lobby is big and grand with high ceilings, albeit very dated. At night there is a pianist and singer every day and it’s nice to come back to. Front desk staff were kind and they said they upgraded our room from deluxe to premier deluxe (although they always say this so I don’t know if there truly was a difference). We didn’t get early check in and connecting rooms as I requested but we didn’t get rooms beside each other which was good enough. When we got to the room it was so nice. Looked newly renovated! Looked newer than the lobby and the hallway. So we were happy. Aircon was super strong and cold thoughout our 8 day stay. No carpet in the room, made it easier for luggages to roll. I felt it was cleaner that way too. Linens were crisp and clean. Pillows were super great and soft. For our king size bed we had 4 pillows and 1 extra. The bathroom was spacious but it had a wet floor set up so your tub and shower was beside each other. Tub is small so it fills up easily. Water is super super strong and goes from boiling hot to cold. We soaked everyday in the tub. My shower had low pressure in the first day but when I asked them to fix it, they did and it became super strong. If I may nitpick - I didn’t like their provided shampoo (made my hair stiff) and shower gel and lotion(didn’t like the scent). But it was totally ok. Just personal preference. They give two bottles of water a day. The provided ref was ok. Takes a while for our drinks to cool. Anyway moving on, the location of the hotel is beside asiatique so it’s noisy at night (we were in the 6F) because of the party boats boarding. Lots of singing. But only early in the evening. We tried the free tuktuk to asiatique and it was so fast like riding a rollercoaster. My daughter loved it. The location itself is nice because of the river view but it’s prone to a lot of traffic coming from places like icon Siam or central world. Outside the hotel were more than 5 massage spas. We tried one and had a great foot massage!! Loved it! We never tried the fee hotel boat to central pier because we didn’t want todeal with central pier and shift boats. I wish they had a free icon Siam boat like other hotels but that’s ok I guess it’s far. Also the boat doesn’t go at 12 noon so we just opted for a grab car to get around. Oh and also the breakfast buffet is great! They change selection daily so in 8 days we tried many different things. I loved the pork rib curry even though it was so spicy. The chef roams around every morning. Nice touch! Overall I recommend this hotel to all my friends who don’t want to break the bank but still want the resort feel by the river.

I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience.
First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience.
In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern.
The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast.
From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on.
The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email.
On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced.
Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors.
While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property.
What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern.
I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse.
The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution.
I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight.
For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention.

Pengangkutan ulang-alik percuma hanya setiap satu jam, fleksibiliti/ketegaran masa bergantung pada kakitangan perkhidmatan pada syif hari itu. 8-15 minit berjalan kaki ke kawasan jalan utama (dua stesen kereta api berbeza berdekatan) di mana anda boleh menemui banyak restoran tempatan, kafe dan restoran Jepun.
