Hotel berhampiran Sekolah Horwang, Bangkok

Having wonderful 3 nights in this hotel. Booked this hotel due to attend concert in Union Hall, just walk through metro underground then arrive to opposite Union Mall. The room is little compact but the amenities and bed is good as a 4-star hotel. I really liked that their refrigerator can be that big even got chill and freezer (gotta request with the front office for this big fridge). Definitely will book again this hotel if got concert in Union Mall.

Ini merupakan kali pertama saya menginap di hostel seorang diri, dan hasilnya sungguh menakjubkan! Tempatnya baharu dan bersih, kakitangannya sangat prihatin terhadap semua tetamu, dan sangat mudah untuk bergerak – betul-betul di sebelah stesen MRT. Rasanya seperti asrama wanita – sangat santai, santai, dan mesra. Saya menempah bilik dengan empat katil dua tingkat (dan bilik mandi en-suite). Memandangkan saya melancong seorang diri, rakan sebilik saya agak pelik, jadi jika anda sensitif terhadap bunyi bising, bilik persendirian mungkin lebih baik. Tetapi jika anda seorang yang tidur ringan (seperti saya), bilik berkongsi memang sesuai, terutamanya kerana harganya berpatutan. Apa yang paling saya sukai ialah tingkat 4, yang mempunyai semua yang diperlukan oleh hostel! Sayang sekali saya hanya menginap satu malam dan tidak dapat menggunakan semuanya! Terdapat ruang makan, ruang membaca, gimnasium, kemudahan dobi, dan ruang solek – semua yang anda inginkan. Satu lagi perkara yang hebat ialah saya tiba agak awal sebelum waktu daftar masuk, dan hostel membenarkan saya menunggu di tingkat 4 atau meninggalkan bagasi saya dan keluar. Mereka sangat membantu tetamu! Saya tidak tahu bagaimana lagi untuk meluahkan rasa terima kasih saya, tetapi saya sangat menyukainya. Saya sangat mengesyorkan semua orang untuk mencuba menginap di sini! 🐰💖💖💖

Mencoba kamar tipe lain. Di dalam kamar terdapat sofa dan meja sehingga cocok untuk bersantai atau untuk makan. Di samping gedung hotel terdapat mesin cuci baju koin, pengering beserta setrikanya. Sangat membantu.

I would like to sincerely thank the staff here. After I accidentally fell and got injured outside, the staff provided timely and thoughtful help. They arranged the shuttle bus to take me to the nearest pharmacy and even recommended first-aid ointments that they personally use. This was clearly beyond their job responsibilities, yet they were always incredibly kind, friendly, and willing to help. In addition, the facilities here are excellent. The hair dryer works very well, and there are plenty of useful and fun hangers. There is even an ironing machine provided in the room — something I’ve never seen before, even in four-star hotels during my previous trips to Bangkok. There is also a self-service laundromat just a one-minute walk from the hotel, which is extremely convenient. I have visited Bangkok several times, and this stay truly stood out. I will definitely come back again on my next trip to Bangkok. Once again, thank you so much to all the wonderful staff.

Stayed here for a few nights. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that they allowed me to change rooms when I had an issue. However, the hotel is quite poorly soundproofed. The first room had a connecting door, and I could hear everything from the next room, which made it feel like there was no privacy at all. The second room was better, but still quite noisy, especially from the street with motorbikes at night. Cleanliness was okay overall, but not perfect — there were some small details like hair on the floor and minor maintenance issues (e.g. sockets patched in a makeshift way). The hotel looks modern, but it doesn’t really feel like a true 4-star experience. For the price, it’s decent, but I expected better sound insulation and finishing. Overall, it’s fine for a short stay, but don’t expect a quiet or high-end experience.

I genuinely appreciate the establishment; the personnel were exceptionally accommodating. However, we encountered significant disturbances during our stay due to excessive noise from the adjacent room, even after designated quiet hours had commenced. We attempted to address the issue by knocking on their door twice, requesting that they lower their volume. Unfortunately, it would have been beneficial if the staff had intervened to manage the noise levels more proactively.

Northgate Ratchayothin is generally regarded as a clean, comfortable, full-service mid-range property with excellent staff and good facilities for the price. It’s ideal as a base for exploring northern Bangkok and shopping areas, though some aspects (amenities, location walk) are moderate rather than premium.
