This was my second time staying here, I came here last year and didn’t think twice to stay somewhere new on the island. Lanta@home is a wonderful place to stay. The man and his wife who run the hotel are absolutely lovely people, honestly some of the kindest people I have ever met I’d say. They always greet you with big smiles and are super accommodating and friendly. Lanta@Home is very clean and safe and is in a great location - minutes from the beach, restaurants, and place to rent a motorbike to explore the island. 10/10, highly recommend.

Upon arrival at Lanta Triple Novel, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made us feel at home, assisting us with everything we needed. We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes. The porch was furnished with plastic chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The bungalow featured a small kitchenette accessible from the porch through a side door, which is convenient if you're planning a longer stay. Inside, there was a small plastic wardrobe for storing clothes and a mini-fridge. The only thing missing was a table and two chairs inside the room, which would have added to the comfort. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud. We rented a scooter from the owner at a decent price, making it easy to explore the island. Although there's a restaurant as part of the hotel, we didn't have the time to dine there. Originally, we planned to stay for three days but ended up extending our stay to four because we enjoyed it so much. The location is perfect—it's close to the beach, and there's a 7-Eleven just around the corner where you can get everything you need for your stay. It's a 4-minute drive to Saladan Pier, so you'll have an easy time catching ferries or speedboats for further travel. Overall, our experience at Lanta Triple Novel was excellent. The friendly owner, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made our stay memorable. This hotel resort is by far one of the best we have ever stayed in. Friendly hospitable staff with greetings and smiles from everyone from cleaners gardeners waitresses bell boys reception was outstanding from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. Nothing was too much trouble. A particular mention to Michelle who made our stay such a memorable one. The BBQ and entertainment were superb. The breakfast accommodated every tastes and vast choice. The quality of the food was outstanding. The location both for beach and for access to the town was great. Looking forward to returning

We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Gecko! Any mentions for improvements below are simply suggestions and is highly recommend anyone to stay here It's in a great location, nearby to high quality local restaurants, a large shop with food, drink, toiletries but still tucked away in its own little world. There are several communal seating areas with communal board games (Azul, cards) and books to use during your stay. The bed was big and comfortable, there was lots of space with two seating areas with tables, one inside our room and one outside. We were only provided with a sheet to sleep, rather than a quilt/duvet which was fine for us but some people might not like that. A choice would have been nice I love the ”eco” feel - toiletries provided are great quality and environmentally friendly, instead of daily plastic single use bottles for water, a glass bottle with a water dispenser at reception is provided. Breakfast is generously portioned and freshly cooked. Some more options for vegans would be nice (my partner just had toast and jam everyday) such as tofu scramble, peanut butter or non-dairy yoghurt. The coffee served at breakfast is delicious, unlike most hotels you can pick from cappuccino, latte etc that's made fresh with a proper coffee machine. That was a really nice touch that we enjoyed. The bathroom was nicely decorated and was modern. My only suggestions for improvements would be there are a lot of lights which made it hard to sleep without an eye mask (the sockets emit lights and we couldn't turn the Aircon display off), and the bathroom has a window with no blind/curtain so the bathroom door needed to be closed. Also there are small gaps around the front door meaning we often had small visitors to our room (geckos, millipedes etc). But overall this didn't affect our stay and are very easy fixes. Also a dimmer switch on the very bright bedside lamp would be nice.

There are many good things about this hotel: - located close to the Saladan Pier where the boats dock, and just next door to the night market that offers food and shopping - welcoming and helpful staff (the hotel has no elevator, but the receptionist offered himself to carry my bag to the second floor - free use of washing machine on the rooftop, all you need is buy a detergent in the supermarket nearby (5 baht) - small kitchen if you would wish to prepare some food of your own - vivid lobby brightened up by graffiti, with free water and a small library - rooftop terrace with a hammock, with sadly not spectacular view (the roof of the market is quite unappealing - some graffiti artist should cover that too ;)) What could be improved? - big bed is actually two twin beds connected together. Also, they are wrapped in that plastic which you can feel under the sheets :( - I felt the cleanliness of the room could be on a higher level, especially floors and bathroom - no handsoap in the bathroom (I used the shower gel, but even that one was fixed for the wall, so it doesnt get stolen, I guess?) - just two big towels per room (no small towels, or a floor towel) - even when at maximum, water temperature never gets hot or truly warm - the hotel looks a bit run down, and could use some facelifting. There are holes in the floor of the common area, the bathroom seems unfinished, with exposed walls and some ventilation openings plugged with - plastic bags? - i think key deposit of 500 baht is such an unneeded nuisance in these modern times - cant they just charge you if you lose it?

In the middle stretch of the island, if you prefer a quieter spot. Accessible if you are able to ride motorbike to explore other parts, otherwise tuktuk could be expensive to go around @300bht/couple or so. However, a 5-7mins walk out to a short street of food, massage, mini mart & bakery, good for our short stay. Nice clean, comfortable & spacious villa of various type. We stayed nearest to the frontal row towards road/concierge, a walk-up pool & forest facing. There are other larger villas nearer beachfront restaurant/another pool or facing the beach. Beachfront is very short stretch, private & rocky beach. Nice & relaxing view within the hotel area but not to be explored out from the beach. Low season during our stay was not overcrowded but when all the guests stayed in, may face a shortage of deck chairs; we brought our towel to lay by the beach instead.

There is breakfast, it is a case, the environment is very good, very feeling, very quiet, the beach is beautiful, the sunset is super beautiful, the hotel rents a motorcycle is very convenient, 250 plants solve the traffic problem one day.

Hotel très vieillissant, nécessite une réfection sans délai. Ne mérite pas d'être répertorié en 3 étoiles. Dommage car l'emplacement est appréciable excepté la presence de micro méduse dans la mer dans une baie dont les eaux sont stagnantes. Les équipements sont vétustes, annees 70 dans les chambres et surtout salle de bain qui dégage une mauvaise odeur et qui nous a obligé à acheter un Désodorisant. L'allée nous permettant de rejoindre notre chambre dégageait un mauvaise odeur aussi. Le jardin est peu où pas entretenu. La salle de sport est si peu attractive que nous n'y jamais vu quiconque. Le personnel par contre est très bien et le site aussi. A revoir dans la piscine le plus éloignée le manque de transats. L'espace en pelouse entre la mer, la piscine et les tables de massage devrait etre arboré pour permettre de se mettre à l'ombre (quand la période est chaude) .
