Hotel berhampiran Pantai Mae Haad, Koh Phangan

We have just had the most lovely 2 night stay at this place. AD, Sam and Pla took care of our every need and we had beautiful breakfasts both mornings and they helped us plan our day. Special shout out though for Jo Joe, who played so well with our 5 year old and made her feel so super special on her 5th birthday celebrations! Also the fireshow the Friday night we stayed was really spectacular, over the pool as we ate dinner.

This is a lovely little hotel!! My partner and I had originally booked into another hotel close by but didn't like it when we arrived and hastily booked the Milky Bay. I'm so glad we did, such a lovely place nestled away on the beach. We went for the Sea Breeze room which is a lovely little bungalow just off the beach overlooking the pool area. The only criticisms I had with it was the water from the shower would track under the shower screen into the rest of the bathroom and the other was the main front door had a big gap going around it that let in light and I was also worried about bugs crawling under it 🫣 Apart from that couldn't fault the resort, such lovely staff, the restaurant was lovely and there were other place's to eat or drink close by. There isn't much of a beach outside the hotel, walk 5 minutes around the corner and there is. We found laying around by the pool or overlooking the little beach area fine. There are 7-11, Lotus, Big C and massage shops with in walking distance. I would recommend either renting a motorbike or a car as there is only one form of taxis on the island so can work expensive using every day. Definitely recommend going over to Koh Tao, what a beautiful island..

We booked the deluxe villa with a bathroom because I was particularly drawn to the design of having a small pool in the courtyard. I used it daily, and the privacy felt palpable once I locked the front door. The rooms were well-separated, featuring a cozy living room with a ceiling fan, tables, chairs, and a TV. The bedroom and bathroom were decent-sized and equipped with all the essentials. The daily coffee and bottled water were a pleasant surprise. However, the reception staff were friendly, but the restaurant, bar, and breakfast staff were cold and unfriendly. We only needed to request a room cleaning once, and it was done quickly, but it didn’t feel thorough. Three ladies arrived with cleaning supplies, but they left within 3-5 minutes, changing the towels and water, but not doing much else. We believe you should request a room cleaning, at least that’s what we felt. The breakfast was basic and didn’t get replenished quickly. One morning, we had breakfast and discovered that the milk was spoiled. It had mixed with our coffee and cereal, so we had to leave it. The staff were always cold and unfriendly during breakfast and later at the bar and restaurant. On the positive side, the view from the pool was excellent, and it was peaceful and relaxing to be there. However, I noticed some weeds and smoke around the area, which made me feel a bit sick after inhaling it for a while, even though I’m a non-smoker. Also, there is a nice 711 across the road from the hotel, and it’s in walking distance to get to the haad rin beach

Des bungalows dans un jardin bien entretenus et apaisants é bord de plage. Le personnel est disponible (merci Sunny) et de bons conseils. Le bungalow a des rangements. La literie est tres confortable. Un ptit jet d'eau avant de rentrer Les serviettes sont changées tous les jours La plage est juste magnifique. On y trouve massage restaurants On a séjourné 5jours ... j'y retournerai sans hésiter

I recently stayed at Vannee Golden Sands Beachfront Resort in Koh Phangan with my wife and had a wonderful experience. The resort offers stunning beach views, clean and comfortable rooms, and warm hospitality from the staff. The atmosphere was peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended for couples seeking a serene beachfront escape.

El lugar tiene vistas espectaculares, la cabaña donde me quedé realmente tenía vista hermosa, eso sí era el último y para subir las escaleras son bien empinadas, así que si traes mucho equipaje o te cuesta subir escaleras, no te lo recomiendo! Estaba limpio aparentemente pero los cojines y la ropa de cama estaba manchada y una cortina rota, el tema con los detalles de la limpieza lo veo bastante importante. Ciertamente es un lugar rural! Pero muy bien para la experiencia. Está ubicado aprox a 15 o 20 de todas las playas y puntos de movimiento. Aunque tiene caminando a 15 min. 7 eleven, supermercados y restaurantes.

Hi guys. I stayed at the Pier for a few days whilst travelling in Thailand. Loved it! Great location right on the beach and the owners were lovely people. Seemed like a family run business and they really look after the guests. I will 100% be returning again. Would definitely recommend it! Excellent. Fabien Ho

Lovely hotel and great room decor. Small bathroom but useable. No bugs or mosquitos. Nice pool - bigger than thought as others say it’s “tiny”. Location is tucked away but 10 mins away from centre, so it’s quiet. Not too far from Laundry and good local food if you come out and turn left. Scooter hire here but only when staff at reception.

Beautiful, well- kept resort. Great location, close to the main town area. Decent prices and amazing food at the restaurant. NOT for swim enthusiasts! The water is shallow, with sharp rocks and metal debris here and there , especially at low tide ..

The place is very beatiful with amazing view, but for 4 stars hotel they need to make improvements in general, service, food and facilities. The hotel is too far from the center about 40 min by car, and the hotel doesn’t provide any shuttle for free, if you want to go to the city for any reason you have to pay. Breakfast: there is variety of food but I’m my opinion it’s not a good quality, I was expecting more. Facilities: swimming pool and sun beds is ok, they provide one kind of fabric but isn’t towel. Room: my room was beatiful and clean, but so dark, bathroom the floor was a kind of tiles slippery and little bit, this is a kind of hazards.
