Hotel berhampiran Taman Layang-Layang Semula Jadi, Koh Phangan

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt im Kupu Kupu Phangan und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, ruhig und sehr gepflegt, ideal zum Abschalten und Wohlfühlen. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an das fantastische Team, vor allem an Bank, AD, Micky, San, Aek, Lin, Ziny, Nonoe und Foam. Alle waren jederzeit herzlich, aufmerksam und unglaublich freundlich. Besonders berührt hat uns der liebevolle und geduldige Umgang mit unserem Sohn. Wir haben uns als Familie vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Kupu Kupu Phangan von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

The hotel staff's hospitalities and the location was very good. Especially, the sun set view was awesome. However, If you would like to join the full moon party on Haad Rin, it's a little far from the hotel.

Это был не первый наш визит на Пханган, но первый раз в этом отеле. Персонал вежливый, отзывчивый. После регистрации нас повели в номер на третьем этаже, скраю, рядом с дорогой и насосной станцией сзади отеля. Попросили переселить сразу не заходя в номер. Без вопросов нам предложили два других номера на выбор. Один на первом этаже с выходом к бассейну, но рядом с дорогой. И второй- на втором этаже , далеко от дороги и дальше от насосной станции. Согласились на второй. Кстати, в отеле несколько ценовых категорий номеров, наш был самым дешевым! Номер бронировали с завтраками. И не пожалели. Блюда из яиц, свежая зелень, фрукты, булочки, сосиски, курица и что-то еще … вобщем сытно. Отель находится рядом с местом для снорклинга, много рыб, раковин, ежей. Мы знали про это место, поэтому и поехали на первые 4 дня именно на этот пляж. С выбором отеля не ошиблись. Единственный минус, это кондиционер расположенный прямо над кроватью. Выключишь-душно, включишь-сразу холодно 🙄 Вобщем вполне достойный отель. На фото вид из номера. Присутствовало ощущение камерности, так как здание П-образной формы, с выходом окон во внутренний двор и бассейн. Очень тихо.

Мы выбрали домик с джакузи, в целом все превосходно. Сами домики очень чистые, внутри хороший ремонт. Огромная кровать ! Есть холодильник, чайник, фен, огромный смарт телевизор, кондей. В общем все круто ! Вид из окна - бомба ! Домики находятся на подьеме, нужно немного приложить усилия чтоб добраться ) но сверху так же есть парковка для байка, мы ставились там и без трудностей добирались до домика ) минуя крутую лестницу . Джакузи работает. Не забивайте что домики в джунглях, видели разных пауков и даже маленького скорпиона ) летают светлячки ) совсем рядом оочень классный бар с шикарным видом на море (особенно на закате). Однозначно рекомендую к бронированию. А за такую цену - тем более ) 10 из 10

”Spectacular views, shame about everything else” Venus on Koh Phangan is the definition of a mixed bag—and unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives here. Let's start with what works: the view is absolutely stunning. Perched overlooking the water, it's genuinely breathtaking and exactly what you'd hope for when booking an island getaway. If you're someone who can sit on a balcony and stare at the sea for hours, you'll get that here. The problem is you'll have to stare at it from a very tired room. The accommodation is old and frankly, dying for a renovation. Everything feels dated and worn—furniture, fittings, decor—like stepping back in time but not in a charming way. It's functional at best. The location compounds the issues. It's terrible—nothing around at all, and almost inaccessible by foot. You'll absolutely need your own transportation (scooter or taxi) just to get to a restaurant or convenience store. If you're without wheels, you're stranded. Overall, Venus trades entirely on its view, but neglects everything else. If you prioritize scenery above all and have your own transport, maybe. Otherwise, look for somewhere that puts equal effort into the actual accommodation and location.

Ok for the price losts of interesting wild life. You need a motorbike to get about on kohpangan because taxis are very expensive. The dogs are sweet and soon recognised me and remembered me . They just bark when they first meet anyone . I lasted 12days without air-conditioning but had to up grade to air-conditioning after lack of sleep and dehydration.

Lovely hotel and great room decor. Small bathroom but useable. No bugs or mosquitos. Nice pool - bigger than thought as others say it’s “tiny”. Location is tucked away but 10 mins away from centre, so it’s quiet. Not too far from Laundry and good local food if you come out and turn left. Scooter hire here but only when staff at reception.

The place is very beatiful with amazing view, but for 4 stars hotel they need to make improvements in general, service, food and facilities. The hotel is too far from the center about 40 min by car, and the hotel doesn’t provide any shuttle for free, if you want to go to the city for any reason you have to pay. Breakfast: there is variety of food but I’m my opinion it’s not a good quality, I was expecting more. Facilities: swimming pool and sun beds is ok, they provide one kind of fabric but isn’t towel. Room: my room was beatiful and clean, but so dark, bathroom the floor was a kind of tiles slippery and little bit, this is a kind of hazards.

Die Lage am Strand ist natürlich perfekt, aber es gibt einiges, was bei mir mehr ins Gewicht fällt. Bei der Buchung war es mir schon nicht möglich das Frühstück abzuwählen. Wenngleich die Auswahl recht gut war. Das Zimmer lag im 4. Stock - welches allerdings erstmal über sehr viele Schrägen und gefühlten 1000 Stufen erklommen werden muss. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer ist ausreichend. Mein Bett war zwar frisch gemacht, aber das Bettlaken hatte noch deutliche Spuren, dies wurde umgehend behoben. Die Dusche war entweder kalt oder spät abends sehr heiß und ließ sich egal wie nicht regulieren, zudem war der Wasserstrahl sehr schwach. WLAN gab es sehr viele verschiedene, da es ein großes Haus ist war die Argumentation, allerdings hat keines davon gescheit funktioniert. Selbst halb 7 morgens nicht.

Disappointing experience Unfortunately, my experience with this property was quite disappointing, mainly because of the communication and how the situation was handled. I contacted the property around 4:38 PM to let them know that I was on my way. I was traveling alone, it was my first time in the area, and it was already getting dark. I was waiting for clear information about the check-in process, but I didn’t receive a response until around 6 PM. By that time, I was already worried about arriving somewhere unfamiliar without knowing what to do. Because I was concerned about being left without a place to stay, I booked another accommodation. I then tried to cancel my original booking and request a refund, but the cancellation was not accepted. I also tried to modify the booking, but that was rejected as well. I even called the property on the 23rd, and although the call was answered, there was no proper communication. Since the booking was still valid until the 25th and I had already paid for it, I decided to use the booking rather than simply waste my money. I’m not someone who can just throw away money like it means nothing. What disappointed me even more was being blamed afterward and being told that I should have informed the property that I decided to stay. From my perspective, I had already tried multiple ways to resolve the situation—messaging, calling, cancelling, and modifying the booking. I was simply trying to figure out what to do with a booking that I had already paid for and that was still valid. I understand that the property also needs to manage its bookings and prepare for guests, and I understand why the situation may have been frustrating for them. However, I also believe communication needs to work both ways. A faster and clearer response could have prevented the entire situation. I’m leaving this review because I hope the property can improve its communication, provide clearer check-in instructions, and handle misunderstandings with guests in a more professional and understanding way.
