Hotel berhampiran Teluk Mango, Koh Tao

"[+] The room was clean, the bed was comfy. The breakfast was nice and you can ask them to pack breakfast for you on the day before if you have an early dive next day. They made a sandwich, fruit salad and some orange juice for me. the swimming pool is lovely just right next to the beach. They also have free pickup service from and to the pier. The hotel is also next to 7-11 and close to famous duck restaurant. Very convenience. [-] Our room is at the building close to the reception (main street) and we stay for 2 nights and the first night, a bar nearby has a big party and the music was soooo loud till morning like 3-4 am. The room wasn't sound proof at all. The second night not a big party still hear some music but better than the first night. So, I'd recommend you to check which building you're gonna be at cause I think if you're near the beach, it's gonna be fine."

"I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room was great very modern and clean but the room was very far from the main road and nightlife and restaurants - they did warn on the booking that this room is the furthest away from the beach and they didn't lie. Luckily they have golf carts that can take you to the main road and back 24h but is a bit inconvenient. The pool near my room was very luxurious. I would definitely recommend this room if you're just looking for a place to lay your head while you're taking your time in the day to go snorkeling and diving."

"Проживали в Dusita Buncha 6 дней. Номер нам достался с видом на море и бассейн. Номер большой, но не хватает полок☹️ для мелких вещей. Поэтому мелочь стояла в пакетах в углу. В ванной комнате нет перегородки для душа. И ещё идёт звук работающих водяных моторов. Причём нам предложили переехать в номер повыше этажом, но там такой же звук. Кому-то он не заметен. Я привыкла за эти дни. Матрас и подушки удобные. Громковат холодильник и кондиционер. Но ко всему привыкаешь. Спали без кондиционера. У отеля красивая территория, но хотелось бы, чтобы больше ухаживали за ней. Лучше убирали мусор и грязь с дорожек. В море много кораллов и рыбок. Ездили на острова Nang Yuan, лодка стоит 300 батт туда назад за человека. В спортзале пахнет резиной, не смогла там заниматься. К сожалению на ребенка (6 лет) не давали ни бутылку воды, не полотенец. Персонал дружелюбный и отзывчивый! В ресторане если обедать и ужинать дороговато выходит. Ходили в соседние кафе. Пожелания сделать детскую комнату или площадку небольшую, ведь на територии отеля очень много места. Приобрести настольные игры их не хватало."

"Great choise for all aspects! It is located close to all activities in Sairee beach, all best restaurants and daily goods saling shops, but it is quiet, no disturbance from parties or walking street noise. Hotel located in quite corner. Update: staff (front desk and housekeepers) speaks English as well (Trip.com description mentioned only Thai and Sweden as spoken languages). Room was clean and convinient with 24 hours hot water nd electricity supply. Owner allowed us to check out later, but did not charge anything, special thanks for that. If we will come back to Koh Tao, definately this hotel will be our primary choice."

"Excellent location. 5 minutes one was you are near all the Padi centres and the town with great food and the pier. 5 mins the next direction you have the night life and more restaurants. Also right on the beach. Staff always cleaned our room but had to ask for top ups on coffee but water always supplied. The hotel.was very dated with no TV in the room. The pool was falling apart in places. The staff were lovely and very helpful, super friendly and nice."

"I would not recommend staying at Sairee Hut Resort. The place is extremely run down. Our room had no hot water, the shower drain was clogged and overflowing, and mosquitoes filled the room, making it uncomfortable to sleep. However, what bothered me most was the resort’s treatment of animals. They keep wild birds confined in small cages out front, with barely any room to move, let alone fly. I’m not sure if this is cultural or meant for tourist entertainment since the birds can talk, but whatever the reason, it is cruel! Birds are meant to be free, not locked in cages for display. These birds were kept in the cages for the entire duration of our stay, and I can only imagine how long they’ve been trapped there. Overall, this resort was disappointing, both in its facilities and ethics. I would not stay here again."

"The location is excellent, close to beach, restaurants and bars. the sea view from our room was awesome, the deck had nice padded bench seats to lounge."

"The resort was in a great location, walking distance to bars restaurants and shops. The pool was great very quiet and relaxing. The rooms were comfortable, a little outdated and you could hear quite a bit of noise from other guests which was annoying at early hours. Staff were accommodating, arranging shuttles from the pier which was great. Sometimes come across less friendly than other places we’ve stayed but could’ve been language barrier. We asked for some hand soap to wash hand int he room and got made to feel uncomfortable and strange for requesting this. Overall good stay and would recommend."

"Lots of mixed reviews about this place. From bed bugs, to rude staff. We didn’t experience either bed bugs or rude staff but the hotel was a bit run down. The staff were quite friendly, loved our kids and their amazement at coconuts being everywhere. Breakfast buffet was a bit underwhelming but it got the job done. It wasn’t great fit vegetarians. The rooms were fine, a villa had 2 separate rooms so had privacy but was a bit inconvenient at times but it worked. We didn’t have bed bugs and we didn’t have geckos running in our room like other reviews. We probably wouldn’t stay here again but it was a good location and we got to go out best dive Center - La Bombona so that was a plus. Nice beach views and pool"
