Hotel berhampiran Kem Gajah Wangpo, Sai Yok

Brilliant place. Catch the boat from the pier if you are catching transport there as it cuts 30 min off a dirt road trip. The villa rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed, coffee machine, stocked fridge and a view that is fantastic especially stargazing at night catching the stars and moonlight on the river. Plenty to do especially around water including tours around the area. Nice restaurant to enjoy breakfast and dinner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next trip for an Anzac Day service at Hellfire Pass.

I agree with most of the comments made previously. Good points: the location is beautiful the rooms are big the swimming pools are great the reception at check in was really friendly the La Wa caves on site were absoutely stunning solved issues quickly very kind to young children the resort environment is beautiful wth lots of pretty plants Recommendations for improvement: the wait staff and barmen could be a bit warmer and friendlier despite language barriers (with the exception of one friendly waiter we had) it could be mentioned that there are different options to get the the hotel, not only by boat (which is a significant additional charge) food was fine but certainly have had much better at other places please remember to bring your own toothbrush note that a can of coke is about 55baht and there is only one restuarant on site. overall - i would recommend this hotel but i would probably try somewhere new next time as there are many beautiful options.

Fantastic experience at Boutique Raft Resort for our 3 day break. Great central location for exploring Erawan National Park & Sai Yok National Parks. Room & Hotel were spotlessly clean with car park, good AC & shower and had mini bar but no safe or kettle (a quiet morning coffee on the balcony observing the wildlife would have been idilic). The rooms are somewhat overlooked by the opposing resort, but firtunately this was uninhabited for the period of our stay. The fully wooden constructed rafts had large balcony area directly onto the river. The river was extremely fast flowing, but a seperate river pool and large decked area allowed for safe bathing. Breakfast was either a set selection menu or buffet depending on number of guests & was served at the main restaurant overlooking the river, this was a bit limited but good quality. Extremely good value fir money and highly recomended.

Very nice. But really a location to stay 1-3 days at most. Overall good. It’s very primitive; but that is kind of the experience you go for anyway. Would recommend anyone staying here to bring a flashlight; as the lights provided are barely enough. Be sure to jump in the river to swim a bit. It’s fun.

This is an amazing place! The tent rooms were spacious with discontinuing and electricity. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast and dinner was incredibly delicious. We came here during Songkran and the only downside is that right across the street a place played extremely loud music that sounded like it was coming from the campsite. So there weren’t really quiet peaceful nights out quiet mornings - the music played from 7am to 10pm. I realize it isn’t their fault - they said there was nothing they could do about it - but it would impact me coming back at least around this time. I’m not sure if this music plays at other times in the year.

We had a very pleasant stay. Hotel provided us with the transportation which we didn't need to pay, to go to Nam Tok Sai Yok Noi waterfall. Which we enjoyed so much. It's an awesome spot to visit with the family close by.. food in their restaurant was great! Cocktails also. Everything well maintained, staff very helpfull and everything that we needed was arranged very fast. Top quality service! Top people! Thank you for great experience!

A very beautiful place in Kanchanaburi with a wide range of activities to enjoy. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to try any of them. We stayed in a traditional Thai raft, which was charming and scenic, though quite old. The air conditioner worked very well—so well that I had to turn it off in the middle of the night. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel. If you visit, be sure to set aside time for their activities, such as the onsen, spa, ATV rides, or even the spa raft “Sense of Nature,” which looks especially unique and impressive.

Wonderful hotel. It's in a remote location, so I recommend having your own car to get there and to explore the area if that’s what you’re looking for. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was really helpful and accommodating to vegetarian guests like me. They even took us to a nearby coffee shop (U Terrace, which I strongly recommend) in their own car. The food is tasty, and both breakfast and dinner are included. There is free rafting available in an amazing location, and the swimming pool is great.

I stayed in a raft room. It was very clean and modernly furnished, but had a few minor defects, like a broken curtain tie hook. It was also hard to find the light switch. Anyway, these are minor issues. The main problem was the balcony. It didn't have a partition between rooms, only a small pot of died bamboo. When people walked past my room through the balcony, we felt we had no privacy. We can see other people face when i sit at the balcony. Also, the balcony didn't have access to the river. Although there were steps leading down close to the river, they weren't low enough for my feet to touch the water, and there were no stairs down to the water. This might not be an important detail, but this is the thing you expect when you choose to stay on a raft. About the breakfast was in a la carte. You can choose only one plate. You can't order more. And for my porridge it was too salty, disappointing. About the staff try to do their best, but they still not professional. For example we saw the group before us they had had a welcome drink which we didn't.
