A perfect hotel—I would say you truly get what you pay for. My husband and I really appreciated the early check-in at 9:30 a.m. We were very tired and wanted to rest, and even though we didn't request an early check-in, the staff automatically accommodated us. We were pleasantly surprised by their thoughtfulness. The room was perfect—spacious, clean, and well-equipped. I honestly couldn't find anything lacking. There was also complimentary drinking water available in the lobby, which was a nice touch. All of the receptionists were incredibly kind and greeted us warmly every time we entered or left the hotel. The breakfast was also delicious, and we really enjoyed it. I have nothing but positive things to say because this hotel provided us with outstanding comfort and an exceptional experience. Thank you so much, Hyatt House Midtown Hotel, for your wonderful hospitality. If we ever return to Sacramento, we will definitely book this hotel again. This version keeps your enthusiastic tone while making it read more naturally and professionally.

Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Downtown at Capitol Park would be a strong choice for a stay in Sacramento, especially if you want more space and the convenience of an extended-stay setup. Its location is excellent, right by Capitol Park and close to the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center, Midtown restaurants, shopping, and downtown attractions. The suites are practical and comfortable, with full kitchens, work space, free Wi-Fi, and a layout that works well for business travelers, families, or longer visits. Added perks like complimentary hot breakfast, an outdoor heated pool, fitness center, and the on-site Juju Kitchen & Cocktails make the stay feel easy and self-contained. It may not feel like a luxury boutique hotel, but for comfort, location, and value in downtown Sacramento, it is a very reliable option.

The room had a strong smell that we had to crack the window and turn on the air for the smell to go away, the place is old, so for the price of $130 a night is ok right? Well.. So I booked this room using trip.com app and because of that the front desk girl required me to pay $250 as a security deposit.. if not I had to leave, so if you add it up, to stay a night at this place in a so so room, I had to charge $129+$250 security deposit +10 parking = so after $390 I could have a night of sleep. I just hope I can get my deposit back as soon as possible. They said 5 to 7 days. So just you know before you go!

Great location if you are going to the game at Golden 1 Center. My first impression through the main hallway to the front desk was a bit unpleasant because there were many flies right at my face. The check-in/out process was very quick and smooth. I do need to call out the housekeeping service because they mistakenly came knocking in the morning twice (9am, 10am) trying to clean the room, when it was the morning or my checkout. I was in a meeting, so that was a bit disturbing.

Fairfield Marriott is a mediocre hotel. All the hotels in the Sacramento area were overpriced. Our room at the Fairfield hadn’t been properly cleaned. The size of the room was fine, a good size, functional bathroom. The air conditioner was more like a blast freezer, and very noisy, but effective. The front desk service was always professional. The buffet breakfast was very basic, but adequate. Many staff seemed to just talk to each other, so not much got done. The place just needs a few more good workers and things would greatly improve. The airport shuttle was on time.

We made a stop over at Sacramento on our drive to San Diego on Christmas Eve. The hotel is easy to find, it's clean and full of necessary amenities. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area.

Very clean hotel and have cafe for dinner till 10:30 PM. Great to have free shuttle from and to Sacramento airport every 30 mins. Front desk and cafe staff all are friendly and helpful. We are enjoy the stay.

I wanted reasonably priced lodging in downtown Sacramento. The Vagabond met my requirements; clean, safe and well-priced. However, you get what you pay for. The shampoo, conditioner & body wash were watered down, the towels were thin, they don’t replace the towels unless you ask.  I never made it to breakfast so I cannot comment. The staff were very accommodating. I arrived early and the front desk staff asked housekeeping to prepare my room first and they did. I managed to use the hot tub once and it was clean and working well. Parking was free even though the website says they charge. Overall I was very satisfied and would return if I return to Sacramento.

It was a really nice place with very friendly people, the room itself looked great especially for the price, however the cleanliness wasn’t the best, the bathroom was still dirty and we noticed the sheets had a pink stain

Service was good amenities were good location was good but the room wasn’t very clean at all the bathtub was very dirty as you can see in the pictures bathroom was very bad like unacceptable the toilet was leaking water coming from the bottom of the toilet wax ring that’s a trip hazard the room doesn’t seem clean at all the bathroom door had some smeared poop on the door so that tells me that they didn’t clean the room . I also saw a big running on the ground not sure if it’s a cockroach but yeah definitely won’t stay again or I don’t recommend anyone to stay here unless they clean it .
