KKempLoriThe Aloft Detroit is a beautiful hotel! Everyone was so nice & very professional, so friendly and very helpful. They made you feel very special. It is in a great location, right across from Tiger Stadium & Ford Field, and only 1/2 mile from Little Caesars Arena. Lots of great restaurants withing walking distance. The rooms were very nice, exceptionally clean and the beds were so comfortable. Will absolutely be staying at the Aloft again!

I would suggest different curtains rather than sheer as you’re super close to the stadium/ lights that shined through all night. Made it a little hard to sleep with the room being light. The breakfast was a little below average any hotel breakfast, nothing cooked like meats or eggs. But the fresh fruit and bagels were good to hold us off till lunch. Breakfast isn’t served till 9am, which is a little late in my opinion if you’re headed off early in the AM. Overall it was a good stay and a great location within walking distance to either 3 stadiums, and I would book again.

PPengguna TetamuI spent one night at the Hollywood ****** at Greektown. I did not visit the ******. I was looking for a nice place to stay for the night. The hotel grounds were 4-stars. I arrived around 7 PM. It took some time to check in because I had to wait for a number of others who qualified for the VIP check-in line.
I stayed in a basic, twin queen room. The room and bathroom were nice and modern. Shortly after getting into my room, bright exterior lights turned on - shining in the direction of my room. I couldn't see what they were illuminating, but if I had to guess, it was perhaps the hotel name written on the exterior. Those lights stayed on all night. The drapes didn't completely cover the windows, so my room was illuminated all night. The room stayed one temperature despite what the thermostat was set to. There was an intermittent hum coming from the in-wall heater as if it was revving up. I ultimately slept with earplugs.
I am have been able to overlook the illuminated room, dysfunctional thermostat, and intermittent hum if I was there for other reasons than to sleep, like to visit the ******, or go out.

PPengguna TetamuI don't understand why the rooms are only cleaned every two days and the trash is only collected every two days. They said it's a Hilton policy, they even wrote it on the bathroom mirror, but there's no such rule. I travel all over the world, I've stayed in many Hiltons or Double Tree by Hiltons, and I've never seen such a rule. I paid for it but didn't receive adequate service. The parking fee is $55. The hotel should have its own parking lot or offer a discount for hotel guests. A hotel's parking fee shouldn't be more expensive than other options, but it is here. The parking lot right next door is cheaper.
All hotels provide water in the room every day. At least, that's what I've seen so far. But here, no matter how many days you stay, they only provide water once.

PPengguna TetamuOverall my stay was pretty good however we weren't informed that in order to receive house keeping you have to request it. Usually you request to not have house keeping not request to get house keeping. However the shower was the $hit..

Xxdd44The location is definitely good. GM’s display space at the bottom, minutes walk to downtown, river views… The furniture is a bit old, and there’s no hair dryer. The worst thing is that their towels have bad smell.

CCora T.This was our second time staying here as we travelled for work. No problems. Clean room. Air conditioning worked well. Ample parking. Your basic continental breakfast. Good price, and not too far from a few restaurant and fast food spots so that we can easily grab a bite to eat. For us, it’s a clean and comfy bed to stay in when we are in town for work.
