TTaylorMy husband and I travel to Milwaukee each year for his birthday. We chose this hotel for its location in proximity to our dinner reservation and the attractions we had planned. There were several negative reviews for this hotel regarding check in, cleanliness, and parking, I'd like to share my feedback to ensure travelers do not deter from staying at this hotel for those reasons. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk staff and were able to check in promptly at 4pm. We were able to conveniently park in their side lot while we brought our belongings up to our room. The room was extremely spacious and had beautiful upgrades and convenient amenities such as a full kitchen. The high ceilings really made this room unique. Everything in the room was very clean. There is a parking garage directly across from the hotel which was easy to access and only cost $22.00 a night to park. When staying in downtown MKE it is to be expected that you will pay for parking, and knowing our car was in a covered garage was peace of mind. We choose to Uber to our destinations, so we didn't have to find parking multiple times, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our ride to arrive. My only disappointment was there was no happy hour. I was under the impression there was a cocktail hour offered, but it didn't take away from our stay, as there were several liquor stores within walking distance to grab a drink for the room while we got ready. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with options, fresh, hot, and the egg bites were delicious. The last thing I will add which is huge for me, they have complimentary water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the lobby at all times. I hate forgetting to bring a water bottle for the middle of the night when staying at a hotel, so I loved this feature. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future! Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision. This was a beautiful, newly converted hotel that you should absolutely check out next time you are staying in the area.

PPengguna TetamuMy boyfriend and I stayed here for summerfest and it was only 1 night but we still enjoyed ourselves in the establishment. I liked that they had a shuttle bus that took us to summerfest and picked us up from there after it was over. The only thing that annoyed us was that the fire detector had low battery so it would beep periodically and it’s a little loud since it’s in a little hotel room.

PPengguna TetamuThe location of the hotel was in close proximity (5-minute walking distance) to the venue we were attending at the Fiserv Forum. There were many restaurants within close proximity to the hotel as well. The room was just ok. The bathroom door in the room was broken, and the hotel could use some updates. We did not have much interaction with the front desk, but staff was polite during check in/ out. Valet was pleasant and offered to help assist with bags. Overall, the say was nice given the reason for the visit. I would not stay there for more than a weekend, because the hotel is downtown and you hear sirens all day.

MMac MkJust booked another week. There is a nice usb hub in the room that allows for great charging. Also the -owner is not cut when u leave the room. So you can have all ur phones, iPads etc. fully charged when u get back. The tv is very large and there are many channels. All,in all a great place. Also there is a large oven that I used to make a really nice pizza. It is not in the room but in the gym . Lol. So u can bake something while you are working out.

PPengguna TetamuFor a 2 star hotel, you get exactly what you pay for. So while I can’t complain, just know what you’re signing up for and don’t have above average expectations. Had no issues with staff and appreciate the well lit parking lot with cameras (we’ve had our car broken into multiple times in MKE so this meant a lot to us). Room was decently clean but dog fur was very much present as well as someone’s hair on the pillows.

First night walking on the carpet in our room barefoot & the carpet seemed damp, like maybe they steam cleaned it. I used the pull out couch for my 5 year old, when setting it up I noticed a heavily wet spot in the carpet by the mini fridge, the pullout is fine for kids that can sleep on anything but I found it too thin to even comfortably sit on.
By morning the wet spot by the fridge was even bigger, we informed the front desk & they said they'd let maintenance know to go up to check, to our knowledge they never did.
The pool was nice & luke warm at all times, they use salt water which is nicer than the chemical smell of chlorine.
The included breakfast buffet is ok. The waffle maker is always a hit with kids. We recommend skipping the eggs and sausage, they gave us tummy troubles. Coffee was awful according to my husband & tea provided is just plain Lipton.
Location right off the expressway is great, travel to downtown events was less than 15 minutes away. Plenty of stores & restaurants nearby.
For a fully booked weekend stay it was very quiet.
We would consider going here again for the price, pool & location.

PPengguna TetamuI have stayed here before and the location and price were right. This time however I was very disappointed and honestly feel I should recieve a refund do to the condition of the room. For starters there were roaches behind the bed and by the desk area and the carpet was seemed together terribly . Did not appear that the room was cleaned very well at all. Then I went to take a shower and notice it had zip ties and tinfoil holding some of the shower head together. I had a first floor room and the window latch was broken as well. This was very dissatisfying and definetly made it hard to sleep after noticing roaches behind the bed . I usually never leave reviews if I’m not satisfied with something but I feel an obligation to leave this review to prevent any traveling business people from picking this hotel because the location is great but it is a party hotel if you ask me. I would definetly like to be refunded for this terrible experience.

PPengguna TetamuFirst off, the signage for parking attached to the hotel was poor. The access to the hotel from the parking ramp was not labeled very well. There is nothing on the web site that states where the parking ramp access is. And the ramp as not full size truck friendly. The exercise room was in disrepair. Only 1 of the 2 elevators worked. Although I did not have have time to use the pool or hot tub, they were very small.
The room was clean, and the water pressure was good. The continental breakfast was very good. And it was only a leisurely walk to the Fiserv Forum.
