Hotel berhampiran Katedral Trinity Episcopal, Columbia

Staying on campus was a very comfortable experience. With a gym and bike rental available downstairs, everything was super convenient. The only drawback was the lack of a main light in the room, but overall, it was a great place to stay.

My only knock is the water pressure in the shower is lacking. I initially didn't think I would be able to take a shower as the water fell so close to the wall. After turning the hot water up higher than I normally would, the pressure increased enough to make it possible. Aside from that everything was great and the people were all nice that I interacted with. Will book here again when I travel to Columbia again.

Room picture on website didn't exactly match the room i got. The tv thought it was December 28, 2004 which meant the channel guide was useless (front desk said technician was coming next day).  Our toilet was on and off running most of the night. The TV was off to the right side of the bed as opposed to right in front of it like most hotel rooms.  Buffet breakfast had some odd hot alternatives versus the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage  potatoes.  Overall, just a 3 out of 5.

Semasa daftar masuk saya dinasihatkan mereka tidak perlu menyediakan bilik di mana tempahan dibuat, SOOO sebaliknya saya telah dinaik taraf ke bilik yang jauh lebih baik dan lebih besar tanpa kos tambahan! Bilik itu sangat bersih dan katilnya sangat selesa sehingga saya tidak mahu keluar dari situ pada keesokan harinya! Dispenser terbina dalam di bilik mandi adalah sesuai dan menyelamatkan saya daripada perlu mencungkil perapi syampu dan badan saya untuk satu malam. Wanita-wanita itu sangat mesra dan membantu di meja depan dan saya berasa selesa mengetahui bahawa jika saya memerlukan apa-apa ia tidak menyusahkan mereka kerana ia adalah untuk tempat lain. Kanak-kanak seronok berenang dan kami juga mendapat senaman lewat malam sebagai bilik kecergasan dibuka 24/7!!

I will start with the good. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfy. Room 128 had no kleenex, clock, hangers or hairdryer. If MainStay is supposed to be like home, this place wasn't! Apparently they are trying to save the earth because the lighting is so dim you will not be reading in the room or applying makeup. Bathroom has a vessel sink which is a pain. There was a bar of soap and nowhere to put it. No plastic cups for brushing your teeth, but instead they have glass tumblers. Dangerous if one of those hits the tile bathroom floor! The web-site advertises free breakfast but there is no such thing. Then take it off of your web-site!

In town for soccer games so picked this hotel due to it being close to the fields we were playing on. We like staying at Hilton and the Tru brand but this was not up to the normal standard. Check-in service was great but the guy working the desk in the morning was not friendly at all - hotel seemed dated but the rooms were fine and typical Tru style. If in town again would pick another hotel - maybe the Home2 Suites down the street. Not terrible but just not great considering all the other options around.

The hotel room itself was nice and spacious. The breakfast was sp**** and the employees were rude except for the front desk clerk. She was very nice but the folks in the breakfast area were rude to everyone and there was barely anything out to eat. We had to ask multiple times for any type of bread to run through the toaster. The eggs were actually a shade of green. I have photos and a video if you need them.

Stayed for drill. Property is in a nice area but us definitely dated. Would consider staying again, but I concur with previous posters; they do have a roach problem

Stayed here for a Gamecocks football game. Great to avoid the traffic. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.

We went out for breakfast about 8:15 no plates, no orange juice, no milk, no toast a couple of muffins and only enough batter for one waffle very disappointing. I had an appointment at the VA later and was expecting breakfast before I went
