Hotel berhampiran Arena Harimau, Hue

The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive staff, who made me feel at home immediately. The accommodation was spotless, elegant, and very comfortable. The room was beautifully designed with great attention to detail, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. Everything was well-maintained, and the bed was extremely comfortable. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to assist with transportation arrangements, local recommendations, and every request I had — always with a smile and sincere kindness. Their helpfulness made my trip in Hue smooth, stress-free, and truly memorable. If you are looking for a hotel with excellent accommodation, outstanding service, and truly warm-hearted staff, I highly recommend Scarlett Boutique Hotel. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Hue. Our experience at the hotel was more than we possibly could have expected before coming. First of all, the territory surrounded by the beautiful rice paddies is something absolutely unique. Garden, pool, a small lake, an artificial waterfall, lots of colourful fishes - it’s was so enjoyable to take a rest closer to nature from the hustle and bustle of the city. The other thing is the people: the hotel staff is simply excellent. Everyone we interacted with was willing to help and do their best to make us feel comfortable. It's difficult to single out anyone, as a great vacation is a team effort. Many thanks for our wonderful vacation!

Vedana Lagoon Resort sits in the jungle hillside along the long Lagoon with various types of spacious and modern villas. Fresh air, birds inserts water sounds everywhere made this an unforgettable memory. Indoor heated swimming pool, two large outdoor pools with good sunset view, bicycles, free tai chi and yoga classes, spa at very reasonable prices. Massages vietnam style very good pressure. Staffs were all very friendly and try to help to make your stay enjoyable. Manager Ann is very good resort host. Can’t wait to go back again soon.

We decided to book our last night in Hue at this hotel after accidentally passing by it. The exterior part looks much nicer than the interior, as we found out after checking in. We thought that this hotel is very new because of its exterior, but acctually it is not. The location is very convinient, close to the main area with a lot of restaurants and nightlife options. We booked a ”deluxe suite”, which was a bit more expensive, primarily because of the windows. Pay attention that the cheapest categories of the rooms DO NOT have windows, which might be dissapointing for some guests. I suggest to pay a bit more for having a room with a window. Our ”suite” was rather small and very basic. The pictures are quite realistic, so you can trust them. The rooms in the front face a constraction site, so you might hear some noise. The TV and the AC worked propely. There is NO pool in this hotel and the staff consists of receptionists only (NO concierge or bellboy service). The girls are friendly and supportive, they allowed us to check out a bit later, as we had our train in the afternoon. The lobby serves also as a breakfast place, there is no designated area for having a breakfast. In our booking the breakfast was included. It is rather basic and is more suitable for local tourists' taste, but western guests won't stay hungry. We particularly liked banana pancakes and their version of pork dimsums. Furits, soup and egg dishes are also available. All in all, this is a very good and affordable option for a short stay in Hue.

Our stay here in Hue was honestly fantastic, starting with the unbeatable location - you step outside and literally everything you need is right around the corner. The room itself was a major highlight. We absolutely loved the panoramic windows, and the blackout curtains were top-notch, letting us actually sleep in without the morning sun waking us up. The level of cleanliness was impeccable across the board. The bed and pillows were decent and comfortable enough, but I do have one practical suggestion for the management: they really need to switch to proper fitted sheets. Using flat bottom sheets that constantly pull up and bunch together during the night is just annoying and takes away from the otherwise premium feel of the room. The breakfast was a total win. The buffet is gorgeous, offering a massive and incredibly diverse spread of delicious options to kick off the day. The only real curveball was the check-in experience. Instead of a warm, welcoming vibe, the front desk staff immediately hit us with a rigid list of ”rules and don'ts” in a surprisingly abrasive and almost rude tone. It definitely lacked that essential hospitality touch. Management really needs to coach their team on their delivery and customer service etiquette. But honestly, aside from that initial weird interaction, we had absolutely zero complaints. It’s a beautifully clean, well-located spot with a killer breakfast.

We loved this hotel! We had a room on the top floor with tons of windows and two private balconies, the view was beautiful. The room had all of the necessities. The location was very convenient with a Winmart downstairs and tons of restaurant/cafe options. I would recommend walking a bit north and checking out the riverfront cafes. The staff were super nice and helpful, we stored our bags in the lobby with no issue, and they helped us park our rental bikes. My only complaint is that the shower head needs to be replaced in room 503 but that's all :)

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, situated right in the heart of the city and close to many local attractions. My room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view from the window. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. They were extremely welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely come back!

We stayed just one night in Hue. The hotel was fantastic, with a really nice swimming pool. Very clean and tidy rooms and excellent breakfast. I really recommend the hotel. Also they have nice restaurant just next to the hotel if you are looking for good Vietnamese food. Extra point: I forgot some stuff in the hotel and they managed to send it to me from Hue to Da Nang in less than 24h. This is not related to the hotel accommodations, but I really appreciate what they did.

Кровать немного подуставшая. Когда на ней пытаешься переворачиваться, начинает хрустеть, как будто чуть и провалишься. Дверь сильно хрустит когда открываешь. Из плюсов. Есть горячая вода. Хорошее расположение. Близко везде. В целом норм, но можно было бы конечно и ремонт провести. Я в целом никакого дискомфорта не испытывал
